Lineage Comic Strip (EOB) - now in English!
NCSoft has done us a favor and translated the comic strip, Epoch of Blood, that has been appearing in Korea. There are only two episodes so far, and both are in English:

Yeah, they don't make much sense. I wanna know what's with the orc fighter being part pig... And what's this about a "spinning butt poke"? (The image with the kid sticking the dagger up that guys butt is just WRONG.) And the female mage saying "What are you looking at, you perverted old man?" Is it just me, or could those be considered sexual??? BAN THE PEOPLE WHO CAN UP WITH THIS GOD FORSAKEN COMICS!

This just seems much more adult than the people at NC seem to want the ingame stuff to be.

Orcs have pig-noses. They say that either in game if you talk to an NPC in Firefield town or in LOTR. I forget. ^^

The "spinning butt poke" is the final position his dagger lay after he stabbed the orc in the back and sliced down. If you look closely, you can see a motion line tracing his back.

And in comic books, females are always the subject of underestimation, sexual harassment and sexual discrimination, which they overcome by killing all the males. Consider Rogue in X-Men, or Chun Li in Street Fighter or Lara Croft in tomb raider.

Besides, NC wrote the thing. Did you see the author? ^^

The pig/orc thing still kinda bugs me. NC might want to make they look like pigs, but do that have to say "oink!"? I guess I play d&d too much.

Look at the "spinning butt poke" a little closer. They way he's holding the dagger, he really just did kinda stab the oinkers butt. The line on his back is like shivering. Either way you look at it, the dagger landed in his butt. To me, that could be seen as sexual. (YUCK!)

And ingame, NC does not tolerate sexual harassment of any kind, so why on earth would they put in there comic?! I just don't understand that, even it it's what normally happens in comics.

Aside from the 'spinning butt poke' thing (a lil crude...heh), what I don't quite get is the female mage saying she only got 400a, and that guy saying he paid 500a...for what? I don't get it... =\
