12/4 - US Server Publish Announcement
The following items will be published during the 10:00am Central US time maintenance to the Depardieu and Ken Rauhel servers on Wednesday December 4:
  • Pan and Ent Guardians in the Elven Forest can no longer be resurrected.
  • New Player zone monsters were rebalanced. Some of the monsters were slightly weakened and their ability to inflict poison has been reduced.
  • Siege interval has been extended from 2 days to 4 days. In accordance with this change, castle income has been decreased.
  • COI delay has been adjusted.
  • The pledge storage and individual storage have been split up on the storage keeper dialogue box.
  • Giant Soldier Ant and Giant Ant have been added to the polymorph list
  • Added the Forgotten Island, a high level hunting area. Enabled the ticket seller NPC 'Isvall' near the Heine wharf. Added a storage keeper inside the Orc Fortress.
  • Added weapon/armor enchanters to every castle hallway. Castle pledge members benefit from these NPCs without having to pay service charge.
  • Curse spell's attack range has been extended to 2 cells (spaces). In addition, alignment penalty has been lowered as much as the below table shows. 'Weapon Break' is now a chaotic spell and it has alignment penalty.
  • Alignment penalty:
    • "curse: poison" align= -300
    • "curse blind" align= -400
    • "weapon break" align= -600
    • "curse: paralyze" align= -2000
    • "darkness" align= -800
    • "weakness" align= -1000
    • "disease" align= -1000
  • Talass has been added to the Ivory Tower. He will craft the Bow of Sayha.
  • Additionally the Bow of Sayha will drop from various creatures on the Test Server. This will only occur on Test Server for a short duration, allowing players to test the bow and provide feedback. This special drop for the Bow of Sayha is not permanent.

Man I can't wait to get home from work and hunt FI. COD is going to own FI on dep. Also the enchanters in the castles sounds very cool. One more thing Amer do you know when the christmas event is and what it is going to be? Thanks and keep up the good work man^^.

Wierd how the numbers went down on the update!!

FI is going to rule! We need strategy and teamwork people! At least me, I think I am going to enjoy A LOT this update.

Damn the -2000 on paralyze... but besides that, a good update.

The penalty with para is really horrible. Even if a char is pink or chao you get the penalty. It is such a pain when I get attacked...I try to para and I lose 8k law. Oh today I was attacked..AND I WENT CHAO FROM USING PARA ON THE PKS (yes plural). GGGRRR

Besides the nerfs on mages what is new?

How about elves soon getting summons & a +6 tshirt for 180k (2m worth for practically nothing, WTF)?

What do mages get? Finally a -chao penalty so they can be ended & drop their +7 som, LOL!!!

What do mages get? Pay 100k for a cr*ppy c-ball & do a ton of things that results in a 'toothpick' of a weapon. Someone said give this 'toothpick' of a weapon to the elves & give mages b 2 s. I agree, give that toothpick to elves.
See how they like them apples now if they're forced to melee with soft ac & cr*p a** dmg with spells that will drain their mp in a few nano-sec. WTF are they going to fight with? A toothpick? Now do you get how a mage is suffered?

NC loves warriors like elves & knights. They just want a game where newbies press one button & start slashing/shooting arrows at something until it dies. *pressing left mouse button, press F4, rinse, repeat* Its a knight/elf-age.

FI is super hard if u solo. In drake zones you see atleast 1 drake every 5 mins they aren't that hard tho they die in about 30sec to 1min if 3+ people atttacking it. And for drops they suck hardcore. Some mops don't even drop stuff at all (like minatours). Always hunt there with ur pledge or ur friends cuz if u see an enemy pledge they might try to jump you.
