NPC Server Reset 8/15
All US Lineage NPC servers will be reset at 10:00 AM CDT on Friday, August 15th to increase drop probabilities for the Beat the Heat event. Players will not have to log out of the game for this reset, but are cautioned to kennel their dogs and dismiss all tames and summons prior to this time. Additionally, the drop portion of the Beat the Heat event will be extended to end on Wednesday, August 27th; the polymorph portion of the event will still end with the regular weekly maintenance period on Wednesday, August 20th.

I could have sworn the drop event was on. I haven't gotten anything fantastic, but I've gotten about a weeks worth of m-gems in a matter of hours hunting in my normal spots.

the more drops could be due to people hunting more
hunt more = higher spawn rate = higher rate of spawning mops with good drops

I thought I was gettng somes good drops too- _ -; but I guess I just hunted more than usual

and now the drop rate will b increased which means even better drops

wow.. i mean i know NC screwed up and all... but for missing the drop event for 2 days they extend it an extra 7 o.o

i knew drop event couldnt be on because i went to ant caves and STILL only got 13 braves in 1 hour -.-

.. maybe it was actually on but the increase was so low, no one saw a difference and complained loud enough they are going back and increasing it further now? or they just screwed up badly even after CaptSturm said he logged in to check on the configurations on the server to confirm the drop rate .. who knows. \./
