Elven Item Creation Guide
After much delay, we have added an Elven Item Creation guide. We tried to capture the "big picture" with this one, so you can see everything on one screen (and hopefully it will fit on a piece of paper).

I'd love some feedback on it - I hope it is useful.

Its great, very nice guide.

A suggestion for the printing side of things.

Maybe you could make each item available as a PDF that you can open up or download and print out.

What do you think.

the elven item creation guide is very nice, but on http://lineagegazetteer.hypermart.net is a elven creation gude already available. It's even better, because it's smaller.

Ok i had a bit of a play with 2 of the item screens and have created 2 downloadable PDF files, that you can use to print from.

You can download them from here.

www.ryzome.com.au/downloads/battle_axe.pdf

www.ryzome.com.au/downloads/ala_of_fairy.pdf

Tell me what you think Amer, any feedback is welcome.

If your happy with the PDF's i am happy to do a PDF for each of the ELF items that require more than say 3-4 components.

Regards
Mort

ahhh, the elven micromanagement... Gotta love it. Incidentally, I made a guide for making bone armor a long time ago. If anyone wants it, you can see it at http://www.geocities.com/lineagebtp/Bone.gif Although, I"m guessing that by the time people get obsessed with lineage enough to live on the messageboards, they wont be making bone armor anymore.. haha... GL folks. May the Schwartz Be With You!!

Guys, You don't have a guide for iron items - iboots, igloves, i-pm, etc. I might have missed it but it's not in the non-elven item guide.

Nice guide, i agree that up-to-dow would be easier to understand, but oe thing that i miss is a list of raw materials (rough, e-stones....) just to gather previous to the production of the item.

I think that this guide will evolve with time and input. As for my input, i would like to suggest mb adding just a plain list of the raw ingredients as well. Some of us elves already know the process, it would just be nice to go somewhere and see a listing of the materials required rather than having to eith go thru the whole page adding things up, or worse, going all the way to EF to see Nerupa.

The Shadow: I was going to suggest the same thing as well. It's nice to know what's needed to make what material, but a break down of "you need a total of this much Mithril, this much Pan's Mane, etc..." to make the item would be good.

Maybe this is a little overboard, but it would make it easier to look and see the whole break down total of core materials needed. This way you can grab everything at once.

It takes about 10 sec to update once your scelect a new item. Maybe I should upgrade my P200 non-mmx 64K PC!

Amer, yes this is nice, for knights that is. Most elves already know his info, and this just makes it capable for knights to know the same. Now on test, 4 out of every 9 knights make a elf, just to make elven items and sell them. Elven shield costs about nothing to make and the knight will sell them for 25-30k. Elven chain mails cost about 18k to make and they will sell from anywhere from 50-200k. Some silly people even pay 300k for 1 +0 Elven chain mail...pitiful. Nice research though =]
