LoA Server News and Notes
The following pieces of information were found on the Lineage forums as posts by CaptSturm and other NC Staff.
  • On LoA the helms [of magic] will be extremely rare drops. The idea is to preserve the advantage of the Mages--and not have much magic use amoung the warrior (knight) class.
  • The dragons will be very rare--almost like an event--and will be designed so that a reasonable party can defeat them. Of course, the loot drops will correspond to the difficulty.
  • The Grim Reaper can turn people into zombies.
  • For the Elindare's Staff quest, the Minion is now wandering the first floor of Elven Caves, the Serpent is on Losus Island and Baell Zaer is on the first floor of Talking Island Dungeon.

i guess real ppl since we just restart if he kills us. so gotta have those sosc and cancel button ready. i personally think the dragon thing is great, some ppl dont go for the drops (notice i said SOME) but they go for the thrill and honor of defeating one of the four most powerful creatures in all of aden.
i dont mind spending over 1mil to kill a dragon and get nothing in return but the feeling of killing the dragon. (bragging rights ^____^)

if he morphs you just keep hitting him. it can wear all ac and swings good. prolly normal speed. would be dumb to use cancle

This is why many people will play LoA server even if they are not too new to Lineage. NC is able to change the way the game works to give people most of the things that they want.

I thought it was that Grim Reaper turning us all into zombies on LoA the other night. The morph lasted less than a minute but made my elf useless. I had no sword and could't use my bow.
Great feature though and awesome idea!! This will make fighting that thing much more interesting. I just wonder if it will be able to poly a high lvl elf with close to 100% MR.

I always thought that those HOM's were way too common. HOM:P will probably go for a good bit of adena.

lol. i can picture it in my head, party of people go to kill grim reaper and they turn out to be ombies in the end. FINALY there doin somthin good to mages and BAD to knights. MAGES 4 EVA!
