4/10 - US Test Server |
Warning: Due to client changes, it is extremely important that you follow the exact instructions for logging in to the test server – located here. If you do not follow these instructions and attempt to use the same game client to access the main servers and the test server, you may be unable to log in to the main servers and will need to do a full reinstall of the Lineage client.
The following has been published to the US Test Server on April 10th:
- The level 45+ quests for Mages, Elves, and Knight have been released
- Added housing to the Aden slum area
- Volume control for sound has been added. Instead of an on/off toggle, volume may now be adjusted using values from 0-100. 0 will turn off sound.
- Sounds may fade in and out based on their distance
- Item window will now reflect items repaired by blacksmiths immediately
- Nightmares may no longer be resurrected and will now see through morph
- Lindvior has been temporarily disabled.
- Fixed an issue with Aden guards spawning inside houses.
- Fixed delay issue with the Elven spell Body to Mind
- Apples will now display properly when dropped on the ground.
- Fixed a problem where players escaping to certain houses in Aden would ‘land’ in the wrong place.
- Mages will now start with the Energy Bolt spell learned.
- Aden Castle income revenues have been adjusted
- Drop rates for the mage quest item skeleton skull have been increased.
- Magus, an NPC in the Aden slums, will now sell a variety of items.
- Giants may now, in a fit of rage, throw stones when their hit points fall too low.
- Specific quest items may no longer be destroyed.
- Blood Pledge creation has been changed. A prince/princess must now speak to a "Blood Pledge Administrator" to create a pledge. A fee of 30,000 adena is required. The Blood Pledge Administrators are located in various towns.
Marriage System
The marriage system has been enabled. This system allows players to officially marry within the Aden world. ‘Married’ players will be alerted when their spouse logs into the game, and may use their wedding rings for a limited amount of teleportation to the location of their spouse.
To marry, a couple must purchase wedding rings from the NPC Roan, travel to the cathedral in Aden, and stand in front of the goddess Agata. One player must type /propose and the other will be prompted to accept. Once accepted, the couple are married and may double-click their wedding ring to be teleported to the location of their spouse.
There will be locations that will not be available for marriage teleportation (Castles, siege zones, dungeons, and on applicable servers, the hell area)
Wedding rings have a limited amount of charges depending on the ring type. They may be recharged by paying the goddess Ariel 1,000 adena. |
