1st Half Report - 2002

NC - Korea has released to investors it's quarterly report (http://www.ncsoft.co.kr/eng/investor/IR_Eng(1H2002).ppt). Looks like some bad news for Lineage in the US, as the user base has declined almost by half. Anyway, look at the report and draw your own conclusions, don't let people think for you!

Interesting bullets for the lazy:

Lineage II beta and EverQuest beta starts in 2nd half of 2002.
NC net profit for 2002 expected to be 4x greater than 2001.
Server load peaks for June 2002:
- Korea: 155,016 (38 servers)
- Taiwan: 149,876 (30 servers)
- USA: 1,613 (2 servers)
- Hong Kong: 3,086 (2 servers)
- Japan: 12,826 (4 servers)

800 is when it's peak..... Normally around 600-700
Wee..... their customer satisfaction shows in those numbers

damn i didn't realize it was above 30000 on korea ok well i gues our surviv count now has dropped bak to 1 second from 2 cmon get more americans to play we're all dumb and stupid we can like lineage just tell em its a badass game and to like it and people flirt with eachother and like cyber!!!americans like that o.0 now i get banned???? maybe maybe not but i like my sn... oh well yea

Ok edl.. well see when u have a company and no on buys your product you go out of business.. but see NCI has their company in alot of different places so if one place is doing bad they might not go out of business but loose money.. and no one wants to loose money..so they shut that area down and move to another area...i say give U.S server 1 year..if they dont bounce back kill them.. and its obvious why this is happening but let me point it out..Austin does not know what we want....they dont know what the players need and what would make them happy.. but they just wanna balance the game..no one cares.. just increase drops and let people have fun.. lineage isnt supposed to be a chore its a game to have fun...i say make drop rate 1/2 of test server for money.. but make items rare that will balance that.. and get rid of this idea for balancing the damn classes.. you guys driving yourself out of business..people who work in NCI Austin are thick headed...why dont you listen to what people post here..arfff doesnt take rocket scientist to figure that out...

i think most of the us customers left lineage-us to go play on international NC. the only way nc-us keeps its customers is by telling the customers is by saying:
thers something "Good" in the next patch so pay again another month and find out what it is(because some are due to changes)....oh wait we cant add it in this patch.. we ment the next patch 3 months later-_-;..

if i knew korean , i wouldnt be playing here.

the tiny city of hong kong is generating more profit than entire US when amount of investment is 1/10th of what setting up us servers cost???

is it just me, or does that not sound quite right? -_-;;;

yea mabey NC will now listen to us about what we want and they will try to stop "balancing" the game. cause this is losing them money and what do you think they are more worried about money or letting us have fun? thats pretty easy to anwser.

you see im gonna stop playing soon becasuse of this imswitching to city of heros ive seen the movies seen the adds and studied it alot you can fly. There are no pkers and an even better design plus its made by a very small company and city of heros is like their only game out so what ever it takes to keep people playing they will do it plus there isnt anything specail for cryptic to make one race better thnen anoher its all about how the classes use their powers some can have only a small variety and become the very best or other can have a wide rage and be ok at their powers. I mean ive set NC dozens of letters and they nevr reson im just waiting for my account to give away then im blowing outta here. Im not even giving lineage 2 a chance becasue it came from the same company that means the same knuckle headed idiots that made lineage.

1. where is the 800 number for call center for US lineage.
2. game support - always tell you to contact customer support
and that takes 2-3 days to get process.
3. GM??? what GM... Havnt seen them for decays.

lol there were close to that many people on dep alone during drop rate event...cant remember when that was tho lol

ya maybe, and this is stretching it O.o just maybe nc will realize how much good nerfing the hell outta stuff and not giving a damn to any1 in game helps their customers...

wait...this is nc...they will give an event to get every1 hyped up and get their minds off all the other bugs and nerfs...where 1 mop spawns with a +11weap (LOL!!) and more or less likely would spawn at 4AM USA time so we dun even get it =p ...then they slow all pots even more...every1 complains again
