Elemental Rings and Resurrection spell

Some quickies from Lineage Playforum (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051003&kid=1064):

Elemental Rings have been introduced to the live Korean servers, presumably to make a character more resistant to a specific elemental class of spells. For example, this Ring of Elemental (water) should make you more resistant to the effects of Chill Touch, Curse: Poison, Freeze, Blizzard and Fog of Sleeping (which is currently not in game).

The Resurrection spell (currently dropped by Fafurion and we *think* dropped also by the other dragons), resurrects you, but with your full HP. The scrolls of resurrection only restore half of your HP, so there is a difference between the spell and the scroll.

Yes, the res spellbook is already on the Ken server. I believe Fafurion drops it on a rare occasion. The rumor I have heard is about 1:10 kills. Don't think any other dragon has been killed on the US Servers so it would have to be from him. There isn't a lot of value in owning the resurrection spell as you will still lose experience when resurrected via the spells, just like with the resurrection scrolls.

well u have 10 fingers it stands to reason that you could wear a lotta rings. Course wouldn't it be hard to hold a sword or bow with lotsa rings on? DOH!!

There is only 2 slots for the rings
I want 2 fire rings for lava lands and 2 earth rings (might make us more resistant against skells)
Those rings could help take 1 or 2 more hits from the dragons

Still waiting for dex/AC update then new spells then the rings

Does it help with things besides spells, if it just helps with player cast spells then I see no real use in them, unless you are pking, or fear of being pked. Will the Fire ring cause firelands mops to do less damage, and if you wear the oppisite say water ring and hunt firelands would you do more damage??

Sounds like we can get a total off 60% elemental resist with 60% normal resist is phoenix does no dmg anymore?! i think they wont let us carry 2 off the same rings...

O.O a lvl 36 korean~didnt think that was possible ~.~ anyways fafurion might be easier with 60% water-resistance (wr --?) ppl might be able to 1:1 it o.o it is really weak ~

Maybe rings brings such a high power to you, that to much of that power can overwhelm you and kill you. So.....NC only allows you to wear two rings. Also, it probably isn't very comfortable for your character to wear both gloves and rings. Oh well, it's a game and I'm using real life logic...

i think most ppl wear their rings on their middle finger..
and then walk around, brag about their shiny rings,
and give them "the finger" at the same time - -"..
there's a middle finger on ur left hand, there's another one on your right

lvl 36 elf with -21ac? And that's including the Dex/AC bonus? He must either suck, or sold his armor and boots AC for the ring.

no it isnt that good...
with lv 36 he gets -9 ac bonus that give him only -12
and lets remember shield spell so -11 base
and the items have -3 base so leaves 18 +
so probably +7 cloak +6 boe +5bracer
alright i guess but not excellent

I wish you kids would be patient about the dex update. It will happen just calm down. In the mean time quit bitching and go earn some adena for your chars, instead of just begging NCI to give you "free" AC.

We don't want buggy updates u are right... then we gonna complain only more (i know the lineage players) example :"we want new mops" we get "Giants" all the people say "They are weak, they suck, they drop bad". so they removed it again --.-- thats how it works, so wait patiently for the dex/ac update, so they can fix the problems with it.

hmm that elf is most likly in skel axeman or skel archer morph cuz that morph cant wear armor t-s or boots. and yes any morph can have on bow.
