I havent posted this yet but the drops on the Forgotten island are about 1/1000 worse then the drops you get from regular monsters. Its really not a good place to go because it costs 10k just to go and then in about 1/100 monsters all you will get is 1 red potion. This i collect just from information from drops that have happend so far on test server. 1 drake only droped one condensed orange nothing else, and the average was 1 potions in ever 20 monsters. considering test drops are about 5 to 10 times as common as regular drops. Its really just a place for people with alot of money to power level for a little while before they go broke.

No BigPope!!! Darn, Forgotten Island sounded like such a nice idea, and now NC has to blow it up with WORST drops than what we get on the mainland!!!

And I thought to compensate for harder mops and conditions, it would have far better drops, also so us higher lvl char's might actually get a chance to advance being items so expensive now....

Whatever! KEEP ON UNBALANCING THE GAME NC!!

BigPope: What? the drops are LESS????

Bases on the formula for exp, it's only about 2x the exp with WAY more risk of losing 13% at any moment. 13% at high levels is WEEKS of hard playing. I'm only 46th, but 13% is still about 6 hours of play - for a 49 that's more like 60 hours.

I think it was a good idea to balance it. If your gunna be able to power level somewhere you shouldn't get power drops too. -.- Atleast their you can kill people that play on non-pk server :)

-.-; when forgotten island comes to us its gonna be packed with ppl in test server. 10k to /from, 10k-15k pots to hunt with, so its gonna be like 25k for like lvl 48, lvl 49 to lvl faster its worth it i mean since u dont have to go all week playing like 6 hours a day to get like 5% at lvl 49 (sometimes not even 5%)

I doubt anyone can carry a Shell of Turtle Dragon, those r too hugh and heavy.

I also heard that with Ghost Leather Armor u can walk through walls and other obstacles, but u cant walk up a cliff or down a cave and such.

The new tribal spellbooks are for a new playable class in lineage, ironic that the new class is based on the old Orc storyline. NCi promissed thou' that the graphic look of a female orc will be more pretty then the female elf today.

Little US history lesson: the color of the scarf was a signal worn by gay men in the 70's to inform other gay men privy to the coding as to the type of activities sought.... whether the knot was tied on the left or the right side demonstrated whether or not the individual wearing the scarf would be the active participant or the recipient. LOL.....

I'm dying here... this is too funny. I should do a little research for you Amer and find out what the red scarf meant. LOL......

I'm most intruiged about the bow and swords..

Knife of Soul probably steals HP on hit, just like SOM, but for HP.

Storm Sword - one handed or two?

Storm CrossBow will probably be a good alternative to Yumi. It'll probably have 1 point better damage and maybe +1 hit. Same base perhaps, maybe even 3/4. But since it's not elven make, Yumi will still be better for undead. Kinda like Rapier vs. Tsu.

And with Sayha's Bow, that'll be like Dragon Slayer ^_^
Oh damn I want one >_<

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I hope one of those quest items is for elf. I'm kinda bored, and that fang of ghoul looks like it's worth something :P

There's not going to be a new Class. Not before the 12th Episode is done at least. They've already waited too long for that. If any new Class shows up, it will be in Lineage Forever. The Forgotten Island still seems like a funny idea to me. Even high Level players want drops and Adena. Not just Exp. There's always better items to get. I'm really glad that there's no more mention of a Prince set here though. That Ruler Scale Mail was looking pretty crappy. I haven't heard anything about those new animations in awhile. Did NC decide to cancel them?

This stuff isn't coming out untill ep. 12 (notice all the wind stuff? did you see the other news that Amer commented on?).
Also, the Dominator Scale Mail looks like it's for prince/ss.

And like previously mentioned, the forgotten island will be a place for higher levels to power level. Instead of farming low level mops, or risking your life hunting high level mops (usually in parties). I don't think Forbidden island will be REALLY tough.. I figure it will be the oposite of Singing Island. Instead of a safety zone, it's a combat zone. Instead of lower versions of mops, there's higher versions of mops.

how would yumi be better than stormbow for undead if the storm has a higher base damage -.-?

PeNTeL - Yumi uses silver arrows, bonus to undead remeber? Like saying tsu has better base dmg than rap, so it must beat rap at killing undead...

Besides - Base dmg means nothing on bows (less you use it on a melee morph). It's all in the +dmg (bonus, and dai's) and in the arrows.

If the drops are sooooo bad on forgotten island than how can we get the items that are from forgtten island? The forgotten isnald plate mail, leather armor, robe and scale mail. It sounds to me like they will be dropped on forgotten island. Especially since in the first time we heard bout the island it said that you have to unlock the drops by going to a certain npc to unlock them or something like that. They must just drop at a bad rate but im sure they will be worth it since its gonna be so rare.

I think it sux that you don't get as good of drops from FI. The drops you get should be proportional to the level of the MOP. That's one thing NC doesn't seem to understand... The exception would be if the mop isn't any harder than the lower level version, but gives more xp, then it would make sense.

Cool looking items though...

.....u don't have to use silver arrows with yumi,besides everyone uses mithrill now i believe..and who said storm bow wont be able to use silver/mith? =.= its not possible yumi will do more damage to undead than storm if storm has higher base damage..

At sometime in some way a Quest is going to come back useing the components to the Dragon Slayer, I have asked if there was any use to the Basi horn , Drakes Claw and such of GM's and they have all said the same hold on to them there going to be worth something. So that being said theres a Basi Horn collecting dust in my storage, lord knows thats the ONLY "rare" drop I have ever gotten!
