NCSoft - Korea

Korean live servers got new updates today:

Baphomet, Beleth, phoenix, Giant Queen Ant, Death Knight and other boss-level monsters have been strengthed. They also now drop the belts and amulets reported earlier. (We'll try to have exact information on these items soon.) In addition, the dragons have been weakened so they can be defeated with strategy and fighting ability. (What did it take before?)
A bug where your HP/MP dropped to 0 or 1 when you restarted while wearing a set if your HP/MP was below 50 has been fixed.
Added new level up graphics.
Bookmarking Valakas' Lair has been disallowed.
You can now disable the "Do you wish to trade with this user?" message that pops up when people try to trade with you.
Fireworks NPCs have been added in Giran and other mainland towns.
Dead monsters bodies disappear more quickly. Dead dog bodies disappear more slowly.
Elven wafers do not have a magic gem requirement any more.
Buakheu (the NPC that sells stuff on Heine 4f) now sells Bless of Eva.
There was a bug where you could resurrect a hasted mop, and it would *still* be hasted. This has been fixed.
High INT mops now have a lower probability of using any greens they are carrying.
Some help files have been added/changed.

That's a heck of an update!!!

I'm glad it came, but am suprised they didn't keep most of that for the next episode. Those belts sound cool :-)

hey, on 10 (There was a bug where you could resurrect a hasted mop, and it would *still* be ressurected. This has been fixed.) shouldnt it say "hasted" instead of "ressurected"?

does this mean i cant kill bapho with a sls on my mage anymore? he really needed to be stronger, lvl 45 mage killed him with only a +6 sls, so fun. about the dragons, i want to be 1 of the first to help kill when they're weakened ^^

news from the official boards: melantus has the code of this update and is "looking into it", the dex/ac update has some bug so we will have to wait
that means that we will get them :P

"looking into it" is also NC's saying that we'll watch how you guys suffer without the update...
Now.... belts and ammys.. great idea.
But dropped by bosses... bad idea
Boss campers would get those new belts.

Mel on the BBS said they got the code for the dex/ac update but for some reason it didnt work, and they are working it out. (right from the horse's mouth).

I say the belts need to be more distributed...Make it so that people OTHER then boss campers get them...Have it so bbs have a small chance to drop them or ramias or even gremlins...O.o

okay...nc will need to take a "chemistry" lesson about RATE-determining step
there's 2 factors affecting why wafer's so hard to make...
the first one's FRUIT OF ENT
the second one's magic gem
okay...magic gem..hunt dv...ppl sell them...skels drop them....even eyes drop them at a certain rate...
but fruit of ent?....only ent...and punched an ent for 5min to drop JUST one...
magic gem easy to get...they removed that factor for getting wafer for what?
it's still hard to get BECAUSE FRUIT OF ENT IS HARD TO GET \./.......

oh yea..if wafer's does not require fruit of ent but only a magic gem then that's good =)....but then again...oh well

and....would be nice if belts and those rings r quest items instead of drop by boss....like a lv 40+ quest or something...so ppl wont camp that much boss anymore!!
