Forged hits level 50

Forged is the tenth level 50 knight in the USA, the first 50+ character on Test server and the thirteenth level 50 player in the USA. Congratulations Forged!

I know, I can see it already: "Test doesn't count, test is easy, test is lame, blah blah." We've heard it all before. Yes, test gets better drops, yes, there is more money on test, yes, the average person has more money, more pots, more armor, better weapons on test. However, killing a monster still gives the same experience. To level to 50 on test takes just as many DV skels as on the regular servers, so regardless of your feelings towards certain parts of Test, it is still a huge task to level to 50.

Forged, a STR Knight, reached level 50 a few hours ago. He started Test when it was last wiped earlier this year, but didn't take it seriously until his friends moved there. He spent only 2.5 weeks at level 49. He spent anywhere from 8-16 hours per day playing. (!)

He hunts in FV beach (which is apparently where most of the 50+ people are hunting these days)

His LinWeb is open to all to see (Forged). But quick summary: AC -60, +9 Tsurugi, 516HP, ROTC, ROPC.

His goal is to reach level 52 before a server wipe. How does he feel about a server wipe? "Doesn't really matter. Means I'll finally break my Lineage addiction. The whole point of this server is to have fun."

why spend so much time for nothing? yes get lv 50, yes get bapho morph, yes get beleth morph, yes get attention, yes have fun, yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,yes... but at the end of the day.. its 200+ hours on lv 49(!)(approx) wont sound good when the server will get wiped...
but ofcus.. no addiction is good these days... dont forget.. he will be back in 2 weeks after the test will be wiped again.. and if not on test.. on dep or ken

Volt last time i checked, lineage was this new magical thing called a GAME. Stop taking it so seriously for gods sake. Every time something good happens on test u flame it, SO ANNOYING. Your point about "test is just a waste of time, you have nothing to show for it". Wth do u smoke? Crack?? Last time i checked no one plans to play lineage for the rest of their life, and also how do u not waste time on dep? O i c if u get good on dep, it will help u throughout ur life or something? cuz we will be playing lineage forever right?? God man get a life and a brain and grow up.

Difference between Test and Live: On Dep/Ken, you decide when to quit. On Test, NC does. :)

well yeah it takes the same amount of skeles u kill to reach 50 but the difference is u can bust oranges, or clears (why not) when u hunt on test...You will still get a profit after each round. But look at live servers...not many ppl can afford busting pots. And if we have to hunt for money separately (using a mage, or use dogs), it slows down the leveling process. Anyhow...doen'st take long when u have that kinda ac and weapon. Good job anyway on reaching 50, after all, test has been out for only a few months.

well i still keep my opinion. and that is that u get lvl50 FASTER on test that on dep. on dp u need to work hard for ur money and have less ac. on test if ur boring and kill easy mops u get more money then the hard mops on dep/ken so. here u have it :D lvl50 is easier to get on test :]

Like Pepper said, it's much easier on test, even if it does take the same amount of Monsters. Unlike Dep/Ken, we spend all our times struggling to get items good enough to try and make the leap to 50. On test, most everyone has those kind of good items by 40. And the Potions, so affordable to use tons of them on test...Forged has better AC than most of the Level 50 players on the live servers do, because of the ease of the test server. Still, I guess the devotion to killing so many Skeletons counts...somewhat.

By all means, congratulation to you, Forged, still hate test and the number of people its pulling in... Hate it very much.. And if Compendium gives it the same coverage as liveservers, do you think more people or less people will flee there?!

There's more mop in test than dep since there's only max 3xx ppl.

And I doubt NCI will do a wipe to the test server soon considering that there are so many 'devoted' fellows out there playing 8-16 hrs just for 'fun'. DON'T take it personally, but if NCI is smart, they prolly won't wipe the server unless there's a massive bug or game issue.

Forged..if it was to have fun in TEST server...why spend so much time there lvling up and wasting time..? I would just PK in test to have funand when the server gets wiped....good bye lvl 50 Forged and welcome newbie Forged...with -6 ac bone set and +0 damascus. You'll just be another sucker...^-^

Well if you devoted that much time to the regular server you would be about high lev 40's. But if you want to waste your time in the test server go ahead. More monsters in the real servers for me to kill. Why by the good grace of GOD would you waste that much time to get wiped?? Thats all i got to say about that!!!!!!

good lord, some of you people cry so much. I was already level 47.75 before I quit on the Dep, so don't tell me any garbage about not having played or what I could have done with my time. So I can use oranges.. live servers have reds, which take just as much work to use. Maybe an extra click now and then..
The fact is the normal servers are incrediably boring, no matter how you look at them. I wasted something like 3 years on the dep, and what did I get to show for it - nothing. Eventually this server will turn out the same way, but at least I can say I had fun for a bit on it. And, yes, I still see this as a game.. a very addictive one.
Many of you people scream "wipe" at any topic of the test server. NC isn't going to wipe it any time soon.. they've already said that, so why not enjoy it while it lasts?
Most of you would go to the test server for one day, and never go back to dep/ken.

Congrats forged its sure that lev 50 is lev 50.
But ... Playing in test server is same as playing cheated live server. You can be 52 but you dont get never same respect as player who reach lev 50 on ken or dep.

#1 Test server should not exist in US market. Those people should be on the live servers if NCI ever wants to expand the game here. On the other hand, they still get your money so they don't care what server you play on.

#2 If you hunt with oranges or clears it takes about half the time to get from 49-50 then if you just hunt with reds.

#3 Getting to level 47.xx is no big accomplishment.

It's none of your business how he plays the game. And I think Amer or the LC crew should watch out for people like xtictacx who constantly insult other people. Why don't we see your face in LC's 'lvl 50 players' if you're so strong? Where is ur slapping and pking me and the rest of the princes that u have promised like a week ago?? Maybe you've never had a lvl 45+ player and you never know how many stuffs you have to kill to get to that lvl. U really tick me off talking shit here and never see any action done. So what if my pledge is weak? I dun plan to make pledge to be the strongest, i made pledge for my friends and to meet new friends. Continue to talk shit if that's all you can do.

To #1 If NC-Austin went ahead with every update they received from Korea and didn't test them, we would have so many bugs like back in beta, which was not fun. They need to test them, plain and simple like any other gaming company would do.

Test is going to be here whether you like it or not. As I explained above, one reason we have the test server is to test and find any bugs that may occur in the next update. Here's a bit of info, I play test, Amer has played test, majority of the people you hear about play test. Test is where Lineage Vets go to have fun and enjoy the game the way it should be. I don't pay NC-Austin to work for 3-4 hours a day. I pay them for a game that should be fun and entertaining. Go ahead and enjoy your measly drops and hours of hunting to barely break even and I'll enjoy great drops, great ac and weapons and a great pledge.

To All:
Stated by NC-Austin and Lord Nazh test has been wiped a total of 3 times and rolled back 8 times. You are more likely to experience a roll back several times if not more before NC-Austin will wipe test. They want to stay away from wipes on test all together but will wipe when a massive bug, duping was the last one, occurs on test. With all these tests of their code, I highly doubt we will see a wipe on test in the next 6-10 months.

QueenNina: If test is so great they should just make Dep and Ken the test servers and make Test server the live server with all the great drops etc. then all would be happy. Also after they test something to see if it works, and if it does, then they should take it BACK out of Test server thereby forcing players that want to experience new episodes etc to play on the live server.

You have ac to get you surfive longer, you have rotc and ropc that can help you on your quest and with all those items no1 could ever have *except for a select few* you can hunt longer, pay more pots and hunt non stop without having to fear to get hurted too much... So: Take a shot at Real servers, and if your 50... ill shake your hand =) cyas

ever tried to go from test back to dep? (i did, for 1 day, i had this elf, i got 1 rough mith in 30 min...-.-) it really sucks if ya play dep after playing test for 'bout a week (i got lvl 40 in a week, didnt even manage to get lvl 35 on dep for 3 months orsomethinglikethat)

anyway, the game is for fun, and test IS more fun becouse the better drops, and wipes don't matter cuz you're lvl 40 in no-time....

lineage is lineage. anyone who says "this server is better than that server", is either jealous, stupid, or a newbie. xtictacx, just chill out. Pepper, lol, bannana pledge? (no insult intended) ^_^ cruel game, i see your point, but test server is needed to, well, TEST THINGS O.o lvl 47.xx after 3 years? im lvl 39 after 2 months.... and that includes the time i have spent slacking off. There is no problem with people who play test server i personally never have (still working on first 40+ chara on dep) but it sounds fun, and i intend to try sometime. sad to say drops are less here, but i manage to make profits from the ant drops. 15k, maybe 30k if lucky,per hunt. This may not sound like alot, but it is alot to me. =/ (to let anyone know, im akilae) Well, what i guess it all comes down to, is, plse ppl, be nice to each other. >.< Wouldn't lineage be much more fun w/o being mad at everyone? I try to be nice to everyone i can. even ppl who are annoying, i try to be courteous. I have but 1 person i do not like (asianqueen) and she knows why. well, i guess i'm done preaching now ^_^

Forged: Dont know if this was asked already because I didn't read all the posts, but why not ditch the +7i-gloves for a pair of +6p-g's? Wouldn't 2 ac be worth the xtra 2 str?

You got 32 mil on you, I don't know how much +7p-g's are but you could probably afford them instead only sacrificing 1 ac.

Oh, and I think you should definitely use 4 n~zels on your kv, cop, t-s, and boots right now.

Test is test, like it or not. Test is going to be around longer than you, me and the rest of the players. Drops on test are great, that makes for happy players who enjoy themselves. If thats all they have to do to make customers happy, then their plan is working. As long as we are happy, they don't wipe test, then they get our $15/month. Simple as that, so instead of hating on the players who are smart enough to enjoy a game they way it is ment to be played, hate on NC-Austin. Go whine to them because seriously, you're not going to make a difference on anyone. Stop you're whining, go hunt for your measly drops and enjoy yourself paying $15/month to work an additional 3-4 hours a day and I'll go enjoy my fun game.

hehe not to sound obsessed with my multicolered popper, the ones basis dropped were before the update, they were actually red/yellow poppers. when basis dropped them, the ones phoenix dropped was called "Hang Ma Pollen" (weird eh?) i quickly and stupidly used it in town, so i know what it looks like, but i got another 1 a few days later. its cool tho, they were rare for phoenix (about 1 every 5 phoenix, but thats on test server) and i got 1, then they updated and basi poppers are called red and yellow and phoenix 1s are multi-colered. i dunno if you can look in my storage still in linweb or not but check it out if you can on my test knight Spyder, its in my dwarf storage and looks diferent than the other 1s.

i am sorry and i dont mean to sound pestimistic but i still give no respect to test. Sure lvl 50 is 50 but i disagree with the statement it takes the same amount of time. No it doesnt, drops are better, less time hunting for cash as you must on live servers to get that ac and wepon. Less players, so more mops are available. I give forge credit but in his interview he said he played test for the drops, basically he cant hack it in the live servers meaning he would take alot longer to get to 50 on a live server. I am sure if the current lvl 50+ of live servers played the same style on test they too would be 55+ no doubt, but they get 50+ on live which is like 55+ on test in my honest belief.

i dont mind the flames but test is no where near the amount of work that is required on live servers. All forge shows is he plays lineage a hell lot, but i think its a waste of effort because the quality is half ass

No one said it takes the same amount of time. It takes the same amount of Exp.
As far as " we can't hack the live servers " you must be a newbie. Most of the people that play test now were 45+ before dep went to pay-to-play. We all have done dep some of us ken and it is work. If your new play the live servers, and after you get sick of the down time ( hotels and regening ) then you to will move to test or will just quit.

That makes hunting much more easier, and there will be more mops to lvl up on
I really don't think turning lvl 50 on test is such a big deal --;
and it's cheap, how u think wat he got is soo good.
-60 in test is like -45 in dep --;

Every1 shut the hell up. I mean it, GOD DAMN. Test server is fun cause u can play it and still have a life outside of it. Unlike some of u who eat, sleep, and breath lineage. I bet most of u look like ****. Probably get like 5- hours of sleep a night and shower like 1 a week(not even).

Its so much easier on the live servers now compared to then its not even funny. I dont care what server you play on, getting to lvl 50 is not easy it requires a lot of hunting and dedication.. saying cuz he can hunt with oranges he has an advantage..o wow, i can see people complaining about people who say they are good, becuz of their ac/wep on test.. but lvl is different. test or no test, we know that test gets better drops more money hunt longer, but you know what, forged got to lvl 50 on test server in 5 months and it took about 1 1/2 years for the first lvl 50 on live servers. same amount of monsters to kill, he killed them all, forged deserves to be on these boards just as much as the others. and for all you ppl who cant help but attack someone on these boards, go ahead, attack, see if i even care what you think, forged worked hard.

Never did i say newbies play test because test requires thinking to actually work. most newbies dont realize how to play test. All i ever said was i dont respect ppl who leave live servers and go to test for the drops. That shows lack of effort and greed. But it is fun but that is for some ppl and not for some. test server is just for fun like you said but obviously forge takes test server more serious than Pr0 because not even Pr0 plays up to 16hours a day. He may play a little less but he plays on a LIVE server, not some low populated, high drop rate test server

Ok most ppl are flaming because ppl have stated before, "TEST SERVER IS FOR FUN". Well obviously forge is playing more that what normal ppl consider "fun". You dont play test server for that many hours for "fun". I dont see what he was hoping to accomplish reaching 50. Maybe he thinks that NC someday will make test a live server? and so he may actually have a char of worthy credit? but that will never happen. It would be different and better if the news said "Forge has reached lvl 50 finally on test. He plays for fun on test for some release from the live servers and so he plays a few hours on test."
But instead the post he took test server SERIOUS [if you know any thing bout words, serious is far from the word "FUN"] and he played 8-16 hours.[btw for all those you dont realize thats leaves only 16-8 hours in real life of free tiem, i dont know bout most of you but i sleep 8-10 hours -.-;;]" and he spent 2.5 weeks at 49. Now most ppl on live spend more then twice that. These are many reasons why ppl flame his credidation upon reaching lvl 50.

Wing, ill give you a little insight about this. I know forged irl, and he plays a lot everyday and it is for FUN. He actually enjoys hunting all the time on the test server, making lots of money, fighting, and talking with friends. I know this may be hard for you to believe since you play on dep/ken, but lineage can actually be fun and it will make u want to actually play it a lot. Imagine a game being fun, wow what a new concept. I remember back in beta, when i loved lineage, i couldnt play it enough, but as time went on dep got so boring it wasnt even funny. I mean i played it ALL the time, as did many of my friends including forged, and it was very fun for a while. but when lineage went commercial the fun changed, so many people i knew left and the ones who stayed, didnt stay for much longer. Now most of the people i know have gone to test or quit lineage completely(what i was about to do before test). I mean forged was about to quit lineage, so why not have some more fun in lineage like old times before they wipe it? whats so wrong with that? i mean if u dont agree with it, then stay on dep... no one is forcing u you to come to test or even like it, but plz understand that after playing lineage for such a long time and just wanting to have a little fun is not such a bad thing man.

Reaching 50 on test server shouldnt take more then 1month... play test server for 1 week and i can guarantee if u know how to play lineage u'll be at least lvl 40+

... he reach lvl 50 but what lvl is he on live servers... 30 maybe 40? lolz cant wait to see him on dep or ken when test gets wiped and see him weak again... lolz only reason forged reach 50+ on test is cause of drops...

... i dont believe he is worthy or praise cause he rached 50.. look at his items -60ac? lolz that means on average his hunts should last about 1.5-2hours cause i have -5xac and i last bout 1.5hours.... but his can last even longer since he can buy massive amounts of pots...

hmmm what else is there to say hmm how bout since there are less ppl on test more mops for him to hunt... lolz im gunna agree with wingzerohero playing 8-16 hours for fun? most ppl get bored after bout an hour of whacking skeles all day.. the rest of the time they chat or go have fun in duels/pk/seige...

Only you "newbies" take offence to that word. And test has nothing to do with greed, its fun. Its finally getting sick of busting ass all night just to gain a little bit. Its about playing the game not hunting little stuff " cause you have to get money for pots".

Another thing I wana mention to all of you who are bad mouthing Forged and the fact that he got level 50 on test..

I have a few question for you people...

1. Why is it that your not level 50?
2. Is it still not the same effort and time and mop experience and dedication of just hunting for the longest time involved?
3. If you think its so easy.. go try it your self on test server and then talk.
4. Most popular.. since your not 50 and you dont know what it takes to get there on either server.. please dont talk crap.

I also realize the boost of ac and item and adena is involved but then again that does not come closer to putting in effort or putting up with the fact of hunting only and no fun... its hard...

For those of you who are level 50. Congratulations you know what it takes hope you realize my point.

yes its the same amount of monster but its not teh same time or anything... forge kills them easier cause he has better weapons... better weap=more money... more money cause he plays on test... his hunts can last a lot longer... cause he can buy more pots... more mops cause less ppl on test... so really i dun think he deserves any praise... its like someone said earlier in this post its like winning teh superbowl when there is a player strike.. still winning the big game but without any obsticles....

Amer restored the posts a few days ago. The title part was more "I'll play test forever", or at least as long as I play lineage rather than "This character will last forever". Yeah it is ironic that NC chose to wipe a couple weeks after I got 50, but hey, like I said in my interview, I played for fun and entertainment. I haven't played Lineage for longer than a day since they wiped either; I don't even have an account anymore heh.
