New Monster Info

Gamania, The providers of Taiwanese Lineage has released info on the new episode 11 monsters. We now have Str/Dex/Con/Int/Wiz/MR stats for all monsters that were updated with Ep 11. You can look at the new monster info at our Monsters Page. Its kind of nice to see the MR of Demon and Ice Queen. :) You must remember that the stats are most likely the same as our server, but they might not be.

Please dont tell me Ice Queen droops 'all of that' or 'most of it' when you kill it once, because that is honestly rediculas and for boss hunters/hoggers the best/quickest way to get rich. still very nice done once again by gamania and compendium.

she's not aggressive? wow and if she drops all that stuff written in black or most of it and if someone kills it alone wouldn't they be too heavy for the drops? lol that would suck

Amer told me i couldnt change anything that was already imputed. its not my fault its wrong :) I think she is agressive though. and it takes quite a few people to end her.

I think that considering how tough it has become to kill bosses these days, the stats listed do not make any sense. Btw, there are alot of descrepancies with the stats lisetd on the official sit, not just for ice queen. And btw, she IS aggressive.

Well Shah just cus she has so much str doesnt mean she cant hit harder. Its like what hits harderd. 8 str mage with +9 sof or 20 str knight with +0 dagger. ;) Trust me the mage wins

Also tomorrow i will go through the offical sites monster info and compare it to ours to make sure everything matches :) fixed icequeen and demon for now

Anyway Ice Queen Ant that tuff I can stand toe to toe with her no problem.
Well one problem All of her clones. Bring a friend to kill them wile you kill the hoe.

I am not just talking about the ice queen. What do these mops hit with +30 tsurugis, anyway? And its not just about how hard they hit. Take the ant queen for example. She has a known hp and a known con and ac, which should control how fast she regenerates and how much damage she should take. Why does it take 30+ players so many hours to kill her? I think there is alot of explaining for NC to make!

Have any of you ever considerd the fact that ice queen clones do 60 damage per hit, and as shown in the preview video by NCI, there were atleast 4 clones, if i remember correctly, those clones might not be the *same as queen* but pretty strong, which i am very sure of.

By the way 'BigPope' any information on the clones of ice queen other then there damage? as if hp/mp/stats... and so on...

It is a very hard task to kill ice queen, and i am sure if u see the drops one would make up for dep/ken's few days of hunting easily. well not drops like plate mail, but i am sure there will be more then just plait mail or just n-dai droped.

There is no explaining required, its a boss, drops very nice drops, hard to kill. High drop on a lower drop server. 'Don't complain' (example. Shah) be thank ful that there is a faster way to get stronger, it's not easy but its fast. It's very balanced.. and for once atleast i am happy that NCI didn't mess things up like they did with Fafurion, which *seems to be* have returned to normal.

'BigPope' If any information what so ever found on Ice Queen clones, please let me and other compendium/lineage users know, maybe there is and maybe i just missed it.

The HP regeneration for monsters is decided on something other then con for bosses. because we would kill bosses to fast. making 1:1 possible. they want it to be a pledge thing not a 1:1 thing.

The clones of IceQueen I belive are just like icequeen but they only take 1 hit to kill. I am not sure here. but i belive that is right. I will ask around.

Also black can be anywher from you get everytime to 1/5 times

ice queen clones have 2 attacks, one is weak and does 10~20 dmg, the other is strong and does a lot of damage (50~80 maybe), they need more than 1 hit to die ^_^

In fact, I've ended Ice Queen and her clones miss a lot. If they do land a hit, it'll do bout 50 but they die in 1 fireball... not a big problem. Mages swinging sof on ice queen? Don't bother cuz u'll miss very often.

IQ Clones the same as the ones that spawn when she isn't there? Cos if you go there now - IQ may no be there, but white named iq clones spawn a lot.

They're weak - Like lvl 8, and die in 2 hits.

i killed ice queen on test server. she showed gold to me at lvl 46. Her bizzard attack anit to strong and every 3-5min she will tele away. I didn't get a very good drop(3 diamonds and darkness sb) off her i cuz was using the wrong weapon(was using tsu instead of m-b)

With 60% MR she will be very hard to hurt with magic, so mages will have a hard time with her. The high Boss regen rate means that summons are fairly useless against top bosses like her (or Ant Queen or dragons). I wonder if dice daggers work against her? The 60% MR would mean they would fail 60% of the time they would otherwise succeed, of course, as the special ability is likely a magic effect. The Ice Queen clone swarm present in her absence are fairly low level, but they can surround and stun-lock a single character. Perhaps they are tougher when she is actually present.

She also drops Belt Of Soul (the 25/25 belt) but i'm not sure how often be cause I've only killed her once and then I got it

I didnt realize I was complining im post, as smokie mentioned, I was merely try to find out the mechanics behind boss strength/regeneration.
As for boss hunting being balanced, it is anything BUT balanced. We all know what class is unique in its ability to fight bosses and win the goodies.
On ken server alot of non-knights are no longer interested in boss hunting.
