NCsoft Announces New CI

A Representation of NCsoft’s Determination to Become a Global Online Game Publisher [May 20, 2002] NCsoft Corp. (President Kim Taek Jin) today announced a new corporate identity to express its determination to leap into a global online game publisher. The changed CI depicts eternal joy that games bring through the alphabet letters N and C in a graphic representation of game blocks. The blocks are connected geometrically to symbolize eternal enjoyment. The colors orange and violet represent NCsoft’s intention to form a relationship of trust with customers. "This year marks the 5th anniversary of NCsoft’s establishment. If the last five years were dedicated to developing highly-polished games, the next five years will be spent in striving to become a global online game publisher that gamers can fully trust and chose. Our new CI represents our aspirations,” said president Kim Taek Jin of NCsoft.

they sure have gain the trust in korea and taiwan....
hmm....what about the hk ppl..?...they complain gms abusing their power and stuff....
....i think they forgot to get GOOD customer service in america...
most of the time support/gm ban ppl...not helping....now is that a way to get trusts from players o.o?...

NC has never been trust full or been co operative.... i've had 2 drafts bounced.. one came back.. 2nd never came back for 2 months and i had to cancel it.. i've had credit problems with NC so that is sooo not true !!!!!!!

Also does this means that NCSoft is now CISoft?
If not... then can you please telll me what is the point of this news???

I dont blame NC for the fact that the game is continiusly bieng update.. the game is a very well and popular multiplayer online game.. games such as diablo... who's final versions have been released are really boring now especially after 2 weeks the most... but Lineage is bieng continusly updated and added new features and events and monsters and episodes such as Episode XI to keep the users interested in game and keep the business going, well done job on that.

However NC's user support is VERY POOR ! and degrating... that also includes paying for account and account management and user terms and rules such as no swearing and for that banning permanent account...

Things like Gamemaster or support01... Question: What Gamemasters? is there even such a thing in lineage anymore?

Support.. Question: why is your whisper always off and when its not off why don't you reply to the users... if however you do sometimes which is very rare... why do you just redirect it to e-mail addresses...????

what do those e-mail replys say? seems like NC has a file writen with responses for every type of few problems which they copy/paste it everytime and just send it again... People like "Jackie" an NC official who copies and pastes same reply over and over and i know cuz yes i have matched his replies...

But not all NC staff is bad people like Melantus and other officials are very nice and do there job well...

Melantus: Please Read This !!! might just help a little...

what does it mean by highly polished games? WE IN AMERICA still dont hav the dex/ac update, and well... i hate to say this... but the ONLY country in the world that matters is AMERICA(mabe Vietnam and Canada and China too). And it says that the nex 5 years will be spent goin worldwide, ummmmmmmmmmmmm they dint say they would also be workin on the game. I no thas what they mean, but honestly, how can they expect to run a worldwide gaming industry if they have IMPROPER GRAMMAR??

j/p about the country thing, only Vietnam really matters

If you want "intention to form a relationship of trust with customers"
treat us right first .... think about the lags, the unjustified things..
think about the costumers for a change & they're complaints instead of ignoring
us all time

I agree that if NCI wants to go worldwide - well, they have a long way to go. I think the fact that the game is constantly being updated is a very good thing. But that doesn't mean the game has to be in constant "beta-state". And I think NCI has a huge untapped resource in it's users/gamers. If they formed a better relationship with them and worked *with* them they would stand a much better chance of pulling this strategy off. As it is, they may go worldwide, but they'll always be relegated to the tiny market share they have now, especially as the hundreds of other MMORPGs become more popular and better than NCI at "getting it right".
