Level 1-11, dogs say nothing when told to stay.

Level 12-23, dogs say "Bow! Wow!" when told to stay.

Level 24-35, dogs say "Wuf. Arf!" when told to stay.

Level 36-47, dogs say "Grrrrrrr." when told to stay.

TaumAril is the proud new owner of a level 48 doberman, KING8. Now we know that 48+ dogs say "Yes, master!" when told to stay. He said that he levelled his elf to 48 and his knight to 48 (used dog less with knight) to get the dog to 48.

lol, a talking dog, that's ridiculous. If a lvl 48 dog were that intelligent he'd probably abandon his owner and get a dog of his own. Come to think of it, there's a NPC in Giran that says dogs can talk. It's funny, but it would be much cooler if a lvl 48 dog would learn lvl 1 spells :)

It's my attempt at humor.

The joke being that the dog is so powerful but in comparison the dog on the old 80's show "Lassie" he's a mere puppy. Lassie single handedly saved the little town AT LEAST 42 times, without even the aid of an opposable thumb.

As for Timmy, he was lassie's sidekick who always found himself in the same recurring hostile event or problem which he needed a dog who apperantly had more of an intellect then he did (lassie) to save him.

For example, Timmy would be casually strolling down the street stopping every few seconds to call lassie a good girl and then give her a pat or two, and eventually see a sign that said "Don't go near broken well, you could fall in and get stuck and be in need of serious aid". Being the bright young lad that timmy is he proceeds to take a gander at the broken well, when shortly after he falls down the well and gets stuck and is in need of serious aid. Timmy then on cue shouts for Lassie to save him and she runs home gets the sherrif and Timmy's parents and saves the day.

Hope that explains my comment, and yes I have too much time on my hands.

By the way, Lassie is a collie.

P.S. I'd personally much rather have Lassie on my side then KING8.

The beta Dogs weren't that great. Sure the extra HP is nice, but it's not like they get hit for more than 200 alot. The Animal Turnaments still exist, but they don't work right now, and it doesn't seem like they will anytime soon. There is also a person on dep Server with a Level 49 Doberman, and he's had it for a long, long time. I think lots of people confuse Beta with Free-Commercial. Beta was the old .77 Server. After that we got the Depardieu Server, which was Commercial, but was free for a long time.

Amer, could you make a change to the comments so that it shows the post # in the corner next to the PM/AM or something like that?

And no, Free-Commercial was after they said that Beta was finished. it was the finished product that would have patches every so often. We just got to play Commercial for free before they dicided the costs and whatnot. After the Depardieu Server started, it was considered live, and they pulicized it. Beta should refer to "The server before Depardieu"

Beta was 3 years ago... the 'Beta' we got was a US server in korea which was the 77 server.
Back when the real korean beta, it was free for a long while until they added ml and they charged lin and made into commercial.

Yeah I've seen someone with 2 level 48 dobs on Ken before...and level 48 dob is worth a whole lot more than 1 mil, more like 10 mil, there are very few, it takes forever, they're priceless.

It's also funny how some people here are friends of the site so they think they can get away with breaking the rules. *coughAbidingcough* Maturity son, maturity.

Vail, bèta is also Depardieu, before march 1st, 2001. Then we got the message that bèta would end and that the service would become pay to play. Its NC itself that stated that bèta would end, so it was still bèta then. Guess there are 2 kinds of bèta involved here, 1st one being converting code from korean to english, localizing things etc etc... That would have been old server. Then, with Dep server, it was a stabilizing bèta, setting up the system, adjusting drop rates, building up the economy, which is also bèta. Once the server was ready, it went pay to play...

Asianwarrior, its getting a "little" out of control this dog thing... I'm just bored of playing elf, cause one lagout and a week of play goes down the drain. Connection from Finland isint always at its best and NC's isp suck bad. Thats reason for me not to go higher. Death at 49 = 2 weeks of play wasted.

And asian, I remember you... You were one of them who knew what SKT pot shop was/is all about =)

and...em...dogs have mp BECAUSE....if u morph it into elder...it can use call lightning at the price of 23mp per cl...after it ran out of mp...it only do babo stuff that doesnt dmg its target - _ -"...
