Kurei3 hits level 50!

Breaking a streak of 11 knights in a row, Kurei3 becomes the second mage in the US to hit level 50 (both are on Ken), he is the fourth level 50 player on Ken and the seventeenth 50+ in the USA. Congratulations Kurei3.

Kurei3 is a STR/CON mage: STR 20, DEX 14, CON 18, INT 8, WIS 7, CHA 8. He has -52 AC with enchants and a STR ammy. Also a Ring of Air he got from DK. How did he kill DK? 350 clears 1:1. Did I mention the +7 Staff of Strength, +8 Staff of Mana and +8 Silver Long Sword? Packs quite a punch.

He has been playing for 1 year, but this character is 7 months old. It took 14 weeks to level from 49-50 in MLC 5-7f, and figures about 11 to level 51. He does intend to get to level 52.

Thank GOD! I just created a mage with the same stats and was wondeing if I should continue to do so. I am glad that i have chosen wisely. My mage seems to carry SO much more than my elf or prince, fights better than a prince 1:1, and has all those spells...SO NICE. Wish I was on PK server though...imagne how suprised people can be when your mage starts hitting back and you find yourself going from laughing your ass off to pumping pots. =)

its impossible to have 20str 14dex and 18con.. w/str ammy and pg's that adds 3str so hed have to have 17str and you cant have 17str w/14dex and 18con :\

Long ago, we had to roll our characters and they would randomly be assigned stats. Then, they made it so we could pick stats, but the original mage minimums and maximums were different. Mages started with 7/8 in everything and could do almost whatever they wanted for stats. Then, they forced mages to have CON/WIS/INT be a minimum of 12.

SpaceBar, what Amer said is for the most part right. Before the giran update actually came out where you could select your stats, you could have connected to /update and got the stat selevting tool before it came out with the update. At that point you could make those stats, because the mage had "I think" 22 movable points, something like that.

Gentile, the first level 50 mage on Ken, is 18 con, 18 wis, 15 int. Not a str mage.

a lv 52 str mage could b fun later on..... its more powerful then an elf... it can do all spells still o.o str mages are ppl to like to fight 1:1 and can heal themselves enough when dueling =P wow..... now i wanna make a str mage now >.<

Etikilam......wrong..... there is more than one level 52 mage in the world. There are three that I know of. THere is the one in korean, and There are two level 52 mages in taiwan's LinWeb, and two level 51, all the other level 51+ are knights. As soon as we see episode XI there will be level 51+ elves.

Have you noticed that all the mages that have got to level 50+ with the exception of Gentile used the STR 20,CON 18 configuration, with really low INT and WIS.

It sucks that now after the Giran update you are no longer able to pick those stats.

I wish NC Austin would allow us the option picking 20 STR and 18 CON, i certainly would make a STR mage based on those points. But at the moment the best you can hope for it 18 STR 18 CON ( wis and INT are both fixed now at 12 points each )

Ohhhh well i may as well make a knight now, no point in really making a mage when you can only have 7 DEX if you pick 18 STR and 18 CON, your hit hard that's still the same as with the other STR mages but your stun lock is terrible because of the 7 DEX that your stuck with.

I have a 18str 18con mage on test and 100 pots only goto weight 42%...

that's including full armor + a bunch of other stuff i collected in a hunt and forgot to put em down b4 going out again...

edit: not to mention that NO ONE, can afford to buy 350 condensed clears in live servers (and maybe even test server too.. ) =.=

just goes to show you how unfair character making is.
this was probably rolled pre-giran, and is impossible
to get now. There is no way this character is 7 months
old since giran was over a year ago, unless he saved
this roll. NCSoft should let us make anything we want
but instead they protect cry baby noobs by setting the
minimum attributes to what NCSoft thinks is best.

This new lvl.50 only proves they are wrong once again.
Why bother having a lvl.52 summon for Mages, when NCSoft
crippled game so much mages can't ever hope to get there.

STR 18, DEX 7, CON 18, INT 12, WIS 12, CHA 8. (=75)
this is the best you can get now. We are now all
screwed out of STR+2 and DEX/AC bonus from DEX.14
but get int/wis a STR.CON Mage does not need when
Mage alternates between +SoF and +SoM correctly.

Why do we bother playing a game when
others have such an unfair advantage.

There used to be a program called "toolin" that you could use to roll over and over again until you got the stats you wanted. i.e it would keep rolling for you for 4 hours or so until you got the stats you wanted. I never used this program myself. o.o

No, after stats were able to be picked, before 12 int/12 wis was imposed, you had 28 or 32 or 36 free points to put into what you chose. This was hand done, very easily, just was only available for a 2-4 week period of time.
