lineage.com Message Boards update

One of the primary goals of the official Lineage message boards is to provide a friendly and cooperative atmosphere in which Lineage players can interact with each other, chat, and offer feedback on the game. As such, they have always been a part of the overall Lineage service and subject to the Rules of Conduct and Terms Agreement. In the past, the link between the message boards and the game accounts operated manually - if an account was blocked from the Lineage service, we manually removed it from the message boards as well. However, beginning on Tuesday, May 14th, this process will become automated. If a game account is restricted from logging in to Lineage due to status as an inactive, temporarily, or permanently banned account, access to the Lineage message boards will be restricted as well. Additionally, accounts that are removed from the message boards due to rules violations will be removed from the game as well.

As always, in the event that an account is restricted from access by NCsoft, the account owner will be informed via email. If this is a temporary restriction, the account will automatically be returned to access at the end of the decided period. If, for any reason, you are unable to access the game and have a question about the reason, we urge that you contact Lineage Customer Support at support@lineage.com.

Finally, message board accounts assigned to unused game accounts will no longer remain available indefinitely. If a game account has been inactive for any reason for a period of 60 days, its message board account will be deleted. Should the account be reactivated, a new message board account name may be assigned to the account using the Account Management section of the Lineage website.

so...ppl who got banned from their acc cant access that board and post...make sense

but lineage veterans who have their account expired and quit game cant post there anymore....that's one stupid thing nc ever done.....

hmm....more for compendium!!!!

It's no wonder that the base of players in the US has been so small, look at the way NC bans accounts so easily.

and thinking that they say they cant get enough players here due to game features and development and stuff..
i think it's the customer service that blows most of the new players away

Bah! Nc makes me want to not play more than the players. I hope and pray the get their act together. I hope Lineage II will be better, but I suspect it won't be (look at lineage now o_O).

Why do they spend the time on these useless and pointless things instead of the working out the things player wants?
Go update the dex/ac stuff!!!
It's been like ... long enough that I can't remember when....
Next update might be that... "Drop rate decrease to !!!, due the the event, undroping event"

NCI did it again instead of giving us what they want e.g. better replay value, better gameplay balance, new items ,quest, areas to explore they decided that that banning is far more important than keeping customers in what a nice way to run a competitive business. end

Karrot is correct. Instead of coming up with ways to keep players and provide them with a SATISFACTORY level of service, they invent more ways in which they may drive more players from the game. NC obviously has put together one of the oddest business plans I've ever seen. Just imagine what it would be like if other companies treat their customers like this.

I think NCI did a ok job so far on the game and service, taking in consideration that NCI austin isnt that old a company yet, and that they run a continental / oversea mmorpg.

If they never made mistakes how could they learn from it, but then again, if they never made mistake no need to learn from it, but then, woudnt it be just too "perfect".

Everything have its lil nifty details.

People...what u are all failing to recognize here is that this is censorship pure and simple. They dont want people talking about Lineage in any bad way whatsoever. This is actually a scary thing, and it makes me sad to realize that my respect for this company and game has gone from interested to total disgust. All this effort in banning people, and yet we scream for changes to the very basics of the game. Lineage has been out for over a year now, and look at the mess it still is. And the tought of a Lineage II??...lmao..after watching the shenanigans of this company for the past 4 months, there is no way in hell i will be paying anyone cash for this kind of crap..part 2.
Wise up people, start looking for another game to play b4 u are dragged down into the dredges that NCI is headed for. Gotta go now, checking to see if my acct has been banned for publishing this.

This is pretty dumb -.-
So many ppl that dun play Lineage anymore are the most active ones on the boards. They provide all kinds of info/questions/help..
If Mel reads this (since I now cant post anymore on The Lineage Board): U really got to change this.

And BTW.., All those veterans with their need to post.. They will come to compendium now! So Amer, make the forum larger =)
Cuz all the newbies will come to compendium to read ur board instead of The Lineage Board..

o.0 i dont post on the message borades at nci so they are saying if the acct is not active anymore..er that if idont use it at all and i got a cct my whole acct will get banned or just my bored acct? if its eveything i might as well quit there screweing up everything for me if they do this..then again i amy be all wrong and i wont have to quit.
