Publish Announcement - update
The following update was added to the list for tomorrow:
  • The length of time a player will remain chaotic for attacking another player or their pets is increased from 30 seconds to 2 minutes (note that the same situations and circumstances for going temporarily chaotic apply and have not been changed).

    Well why i am confused is that people dont go chaotic if you hit someone or their pets. You do if you kill them but not hit them

    No it was changed to 30secs in the FV episode update. Now it's been changed to 2mins. Nothing special.

    Well about 3 weeks ago when i was on dep. this is after fire valley. I attacked someone in fun. and i was pink for over a minute.

    why does everyone hate pk's so much? there IS an alternative and its called ken server. if your gonna cry about being pk'ed move to ken where you dont have to put up with it and we dont have to hear you cry.

    Great.. now when some on Fire balls into a heard of mops... and they hit my dog.. my dog will stay pink for two minutes..

    Compendium, I know mel visits this site often, could you please post some thing about the dog allignment bug? NC support obviously don't look after the bugs coming through and I know mel passes on the message to bug and sugestion branches in NC ^_^

    I want my dog neutral again... damn elders and elven guardians...

    Some people really deserve to have their pets killed. Time and time again people just go crazy hitting everything and not letting others get a drop on something they have been attacking. It's just plain rude. Killing their pets is the only way to put these people in check.

    Sir Tango, you my friend are obviously projecting some kind of inadequate shortcoming of your own onto me. Perhaps you are one of those people who constantly gets his dog or pet killed because you do not handle them with responsibilty. I am sure you probably have whined about going chaotic because your pet "accidently" killed someone. People who dont play nice with their pets deserve to lose those pets. Unfortunately, NC has made PKing someone too much of a pain to deal with. It's silly how babied this game has become because of people with your attitude. "Oh NC he killed the dog sprite that I was hunting with, BAN HIM!"

    If, there is no offense on the part of the player controlling the dog I may have agreed with it being cowardly. But, when some jerk put his dog or bb's onto the mop you have already engaged, just to get drops with half the effort, they do indeed deserve to die. However until NC makes the penalty for PK'ing a little less severe, the next best thing is taking back those drops through the death of your pet, that has gained drops only because of your own greed and selfishness.
