5/1 - 5/6 Japanese Lineage Event

elf.24cc reports that the Japanese servers are getting an event from 5/1 to 5/6.

In this event, certain mops will drop the "Seal of Courage" to male characters. Seals can be sold to stores for 30a or traded with an event NPC for rings. The rings are:

Ring of Liveliness: +10 HP for 30 seals.

Ring of Hope: +5 MP for 30 seals.

Ring of Truth: +15 HP for 50 seals.

Ring of Luck: +10 MP for 50 seals.

Ring of Miracle: +15 HP, +10 MP for 200 seals.

They had a female only event a while back. Also, remember the Silver Serpent Ammy event? +10 HP and all the mithril arrows you could store? I still have 30,000 arrows from that event.

The other servers did not get the Elindare event with SSN. That's an American only :)

Damn, I hope this comes to US Servers. The SSN event was fun. This would be better, if you could make the items drop to all-sex chars.

wth etikilam, all those crossdressers??? Um, playing a girl character in a video game isn't exactly crossdressing. I bet you're one of those guys who tries to hit on the girls and then gets all mad when you find out its a guy. Just so you know, about 90% of the "girls" in this game are played by guys.

Most of the real chicks are housewives from what i've seen in lineage and other online games.....lol. It's not hard to pick out the real girls, most cry alot when there is a problem and also have a "mom" thing going.. And they tend to want to chat and talk alot. They are not hard to spot.

But I do agree most of the girl charactors are guys....I still don't know why they would want to play a girl....Just as long as they aren't sitting there in their mom's clothes i guess......lol

Guys playing girls means that they will always want their girl character to be hit becuase they like the sound. This leads to the useage of more pots and more deaths.

2. no black people should play Lineage
3. you wear armor or a mages "dress" while you play Lineage
4. you believe that the people playing the female characters actually look like that.

My impression of this event is(cos I only play on JP-servers),,,,
because the mops who drop the Seal of Courage are limited, where these
mops appear is so damn crowded and you won't even get to attack them.
It seems that those that usually play on female-chars are making male-knights
to collect the seals.
People "thief" your mops and I see like 5 or 6 people in one screen.
You can also collect the seals from dogs, summonned BB's and this makes it
easier for summon-mages.
It is a good event but you can only go to DV or Lava to hunt normally until
the event ends.
B.T.W,,, Ring of Miracle is currently sold at 300k or more.... T,T

Amer, you said there was a females only event awhile back? What was that one all about? I bet they didn't get cool Rings or Belts...

Don't worry about the events...all they do is make the players get strong faster, and get bored of the game faster. Unlike here, with the millions of subscribers in Korea and elsewhere, they can afford to lose players.

Aww I only have female characters, but that would be a nice event to have :)
(And im a real "chick", and I'm not a house wife, or old, or physically/mentally disabled, or ugly[I hope], But before you crack on to me I have a boyfriend that introduced me to Lineage...)

omg...to start, there are many girls that do play games and arent fat + ugly, i sooooooo hate that stereotype,i'll admit there are wierd people out there but there are a lot more girls playing then you think, also in contrast i know a girl who plays male character...a lot has to do with personal preferance to appearance and many of the guys who play female characters dont pretend to be female at all, i know several...and ill be mad pissed if this does come to our servers and i cant get the damn things cuz im a girl >.< i probly went way over there but oh well

I agree that a lot of the female characters we see are being played by males. This is one of the reasons I never flirt with anyone in game...
However, I do know two women who play the game in real life, one is a co-worker, and one is my ladyfriend. Neither of them are fat & ugly...
My ex-wife is also a gamer, she doesn't play Lineage, but she plays Q3A quite often, and she's not ugly either.
So, the stereotype is bunk, just like most out there...
As far as it goes, I think it's cool that it's male characters only, as long as they do an event that has the same sort of value for females only. Maybe run them both at the same time, and have the best item be made of half of the male drop and half of the female drop... (100 seals of courage + 100 Hairpins of Valor, lol, hairpins...)
