more Korean Test Server updates
From Lineage Playforum (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051004&kid=1447), the following changes were made to the Korean Test Server:
  • Sieges now cannot be scheduled between 6am and noon. (Korea is only in one time zone, so this may never work for the US servers)
  • Dragon scales now appear *very rarely* in the dragon's lair. (It's like they are shedding). Currently, they do not appear *at all* unless you kill the dragon.

    wow, thats weird, to think the rare DSM can be made without actually killing the dragon...kinda defeats the purpose of it if u ask me but it still must be hell to go to the dragons lair and find the scales without the dragon finding you =P

    yes, it would ruin all the fun! it will be no chalenge to get DSM if u dont need to kill the dragon... the u only take like 5greens and morph and brave/wafer or something like that and the run!!! it wouldnt be so fun...

    i hope this never comes to the US server

    ya, but to find a dragon scale is probably the same as getting ROTC from bapho
    so most people would end up dieing trying to find a scale o.o

    Its not stupid.. Its incredibly hard to get around the dragons.. they run faster than most knights.. and if they dont they insta-kill you on the screen.. this at least gives us a REMOTE chance of Getting DSM without having to kill NC's invulnerable Dragons.. I like the idea.. and it makes sense

    I think they should change the times to sieges here in america too. We have a siege time at 9am in the morning. I don't know about most of the players, but I know that alot of the playes have to go to school/work. Then the 1 in the morning siege is a killer to all. >.< And I'm talking about these times in PST, so it is even later in GMT.

    Keep in mind people...this is on KOREAN TEST. US servers are now very different from Korean servers, so this will more than likely fall into the category of "will never make it to US". It hasn't even made it to Korean live servers yet.

    I think it's a good idea, think about it, when we eventually kill one of the dragons, it's gona take so many ppl so the drops will like be erm yeah u see what i mean....this chance of getting scales from the lair is a 99% for sure way to die. Noone can outrun any of the drakes, so it's maybe even harder to run around the whole lair without dying than 100 ppl kill it...

    Listen, we arnt going to be able to kill the dragons with our current equipment. We need things like dragon scale armor to defeat them. Unless your level 60 with 1k++ hp, the dragons kill you almost instantly. I think its a good idea for dragon scales to spawn in the lair.

    I agree we need this scale *shedding* to take place casue ive seen pictures of this way to much and it is like impossible to kill him even with those knight with -60 ac we really need those scales i would think it would be even amazing to find a scale. besisdes with this new info from Valkas with a metoer hitting you when he isnt even on the screen it will be impossible. Unless the GM thought no one whould be able to see the dragon so they go and blow u up we should actaully have a 75% chance to get the scales becasue even after we get the scales and armor we will still die alot. I hate those stupid programers when that depardiu pledge kill anthras alot they rearranged so they couldnt use that strategy. Wait till we find a sure fire waty to kill him they will rearrange the dragons again its like they dont want us to win!!!!!!

    My Valakas experience:

    1. I enter Valakas's cave. I wander around looking for him. Suddenly, I inexplicably die.
    2. Then a meteor comes from the sky, crushing me (I assume this was the cause of my death, even though it came *after* my death.)
    3. THEN, Valakas trots onto the screen.

    If this is what I can expect by entering Valakas's cave, I'm not going to take the task of "hunting for scales" very lightly.
