Yes but supposedly you can check if he's online like any other player. I do that frequently and have not spotted him. Even if he had a coi, he would have to uncoi to kill monsters. Darn, I really wish I had a character lower than ten now to check the newbie spots. On KEN a lot of stuff is happening, there 10+ newbies just in town these days. I'm sure that it's in the 25+ range on DEP.

Nvm... i am not about to take on a newbie who has the strength of an antharas and can use green and brave... i am just curious... how strong is he anyways? can he take on a guard himself?

I wonder if he starts of with the same stats as all of us or if he starts with like 400hp 400mp and 18/18/18/18/18/18. And does he have like a doom blade and -40ac ?

It would not be hard to play a character like that, if he wanted to get a real view of the game itself he should play a knight or elf or any of the normal classes to see the game for what it is.

Since he's obviously going to be playing a big role in the sieges he will have uber stats. Not necessary tremendously powerful though. He probably will have a couple extra points in each stat, and a few level spells. -6x ac, +9 weapon or so. This won't be very much however, especially if you get several knights on him. Just enough to make a difference and be "important" in the siege.

it's just a pr event. VasNox was the one on warcry who sent in the pic. Thats a ringer name for a ex-osi employee. now a NC employee. Just a small photo op. Did anybody see him hunting anything at all? nope, and you prob wont.

Posting that url here...have you even talked to him? You shouldn't believe everything you read, so what if he sells UO characters through eBay? I don't care.. Aslong as the game is good I won't stop play it.. Sorry if this upset you but you can't just throw dirt at LordBritish without getting comments.

Have I ever talked to him? Well....I was a UO test center regular for almost 2 years. I've probably had conversations with 3/4 of the Uo designers in-game. Now many of those people are here in Lineage. You'd think they would think of new names. I have 4 possible suspects on Dep rite now. lol I have a 54 month active Uo account. Do you think I've talked to him? 2 years on test center playing there 12 + hours a day. lol. I merely found the article and found it funny as hell. If it's untrue I'm sure they will close down the site. :)

+9 duped tsu for extra cash! lol <-----This is what you call preventitive measures to stop anything like this from happening in lineage :) And or the followers.. from getting hordes of duped stuff. or maybe they are taking itfrom the people they are perm banning I dunno. But it's NOT going to happen here in lineage!

asslyia, I'll bring ya up to speed real quick. Lord British is the creator of ultima online. Shortly afte Lineage was launced in april, his company destination-games partnered with NCSoft in korea( the makeers of lineage). Since then we have had no events, and the only thing this support company has done for us was make a new website and translate the ingame text a bit. And nowfinally they are advertising. And part of that is using LB as a marketing ploy of some weird sort. It's not working for them very well with the vetran Lin players. :(

I saw him on Ken last night. So funny. About 50-100 players around him. Some asking: "Are you gonna kill (insert pledge/character name)?" Others asking stuff like: "What's Aden?", "What's the anti-king?". Then there's the people shouting "Kill him!" and those trying to role-play like him. And ofcourse the people who tell the rest to shut up and listen.

This is my deal here, he still has to earn his dues. i don't care who he is. i have played this game for a long time. earned my title, my nick. and to say he is king. BAH!! if he is to usrup the rulers now, and say the strongest pleadge is the true king then what? or dose this lead to the "age of lineage". see, they need to answer our questions. and i don't like the fact that he can pop in and have armor, weapons, be already a lawful character. he needs to travel with us, hunt were we hunt, take his butt to 7th floor dv, 7th floor ml caves. just not right. if he wants to siege heine or the new castle, then he needs to run wit us now. but, i don't see him using a dagger and a leather vest. just my 2 cents.

... themushroom.com is a parody video game new site.. ie, full of fabricated, funny articles. It's a play on theonion.com if you've ever visited that site.. sorry, this isn't a plug or anything.

Lord British is supposed to be part of a month long even on our servers. He's not just some executive they decided to give top notch equipment so he can use lineage as his playground. We won't see him hunting by our sides stealing our monsters etc, so calm down. None of us know exactly what will happen in the events planned, and what we should expect.. so I'm just gonna sit back and go with it.. do the same.. who knows, it might actually be more fun than slaughtering rabbits.

First off, please lets back off the profanity. NCI does visit this site often and as you can see at the bottom of the comments box Amer does not want to filter anyone. Also if you curse you may get your post deleted all together.

Secondly, if LB is anything like the old GM characters... get 550 vets on him and he just wont die. GM's could kill Antharas because they literally couldn't die. Everyone unfortunately will just have to wait and see. Only a couple more weeks to go! I have the distinct feeling that they are trying to integrate the LordBritish character. I think he will be taking his role in-game very seriously, especially seeing the backlash from announcing the fuzzy details of the event. Just my thoughts.

Well i don't think he actuly PLAYS and gets lawful its like all other Monitors and GMs that have a light blue color name that seems like 5000 lawful .
And he is like them , have you ever seen a GM or monitor hunt ? well NO so thats how it goes ^^ . And all GM monitor get 25 stats of each and 100 SP 99% MR .

i think that he can die, from the descriptions of the interveiws i think that he has a normal (as in not gm/god) he most likly only has +9 weapon,-60 ac and maybe all 18 stats. if he was a gm/god then he couldnt help in seiges like he says he is

I believe LB will be mortal during sieges, but he won't drop any items..He's not just an ordinary player, he can have lightblue name, and that doesn't mean he will drop any items. :) He might be just as strong as a regular GM, but if he is, he will problary not be attacking/defending..just leading his pledge and so on. Because if he has the might of a GM, he could just run alone giving each attacker one hit and they will fall to their death..

And to Krisad, no one's racist here. It's just that koreans play very aggressive compared to North-American players, so they earn themselves a nasty reputation in US, and even Japan Server. (I have friends playing there, and the koreans pk ppl if they lose a war!!)

no lb cant die, every sprite of a monster ingame got gfx for dying and lb doesnt have those dying just like gm doesnt have them.
