Gentile - level 50 mage!!

On Ken server, the first level 50 *anything* has appeared. And he's a mage!

We did a little interview and he told us about himself.

He's a CON 18, WIS 18, INT 15 mage. He's got 403HP (with orc ammy) and 444MP. His weapons are a +8 Staff of Force and a +7 Staff of Mana.

He hunts in Giran 4f, but also lately MLC 6f for about 6 hours per day. Definitely does *not* use bugbears to hunt. In his words "Lev 50 in 2004 maybe with BB". :)

I have to add his level 50 bonus was very bittersweet. There was no addition of stat, no new spell, no "improved" summon, and the Beleth and Baphomet morphs cannot wear all AC: they cannot wear boots or helm. However, they are fast. They allow you to hit as fast as an elf or a scorpion (which you may not know are the same speed) and cast magic as fast as a king bugbear morph.

Mages suffer from "dog dependent sickness", ever since the "dog in party", mages get something like 5% of the experience. WOW that is amazing, NCsoft should give him/her +1 stat , and custom made stick or something.
One thing I noticed about mages, why do they get more experience underwater than any where else?

Nice to see your still alive LOST =).

I found that the same BBS and Dogs suck to much exp, also I found and I cant prove this, this is just personal experience that when I hunt alone I get better drops than when I use BBS.

Also I am guessing that the mp total is 444 with out the +50 mage set bonus.

NICE going Gent well done, no one figured a mage to be the first. I wish I had 6 hr to dedicate to lin per day *SIGH*.

PS: wonder how many times he die due to lag on the way to level 50.

It is amazing to me, he should get +1 stat and maybe something else. He must use a dog. Or at least have one with him. It is a power leveling must. Read how the lvl 58 knight carrries 290 pots per trip. 100 on each dog is standad practice...opps maybe I should keep quiet how to power level. *laughs*

yea Gent as a fellow mage im glad you showed everyone that mages can do anything and that even though knights are good in mid level we have our own special talentand you proved to everyone for all us mid level mages. I hope i can get to level 50 some day your in a way my hero and thanks you....:)

But you should GET THE NEW STATS AND OR BE ABLE TO WEAR ARMOR IM COMPLAINING TO NC ABOUT THIS I ALSO BELIVE THAT THEY SHOULD ACTIVATE THE SPECIAL MAKE MAGIC SCROLLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!............IM GONNE GET NC IF THEY DONT ACTIVATE IT WITHIN THE NEXT 4 MONTHS because they can all they have to do is press 1 little button and its on. There's something called level 40 mages change disease...... All of a sudden they change to some thing they believe is strong because of their bbs.
You should try leveling with a few hundred reds with some in a pot wolf where the wolf just goes on defensive so it doesn't get killed v.v......

No matter what class you are, there are weaknesses and strong points. I guess he finds his way strong point and took an advantage of it. He's usually in giran 4f, and mlc 6f alone w/out dogs or bbs.

Mages don't need to carry pots like knights do to power level. ^^ If you have a +7 som, you don't need many pots. 'specially with his AC and mr%. Gent is a rich man. =)

I don't know what ya'll think, but Baphomet and Beleth are the 2 best looking morphs heh. I don't know what's better than a goatman with a big stick. Not being able to wear boots is messed, i mean, a cockatrice can use boots, they got huge feet too! baphomet has hooves, he'd just have to tie them real tight so they stay on. i can see no helmet because he has horns..but still, for a level 50 morph, that's lame.

Lets see...to go from lvl 49-50, need to kill 238,842 skeletons. Thats 2,388(aprox.) to get 1%. Thats about the same number of skels you need to kill to go from lvl 44-45. To get 1% every 3 hours, you need to kill about 13 skeletons per minute. :)

Besides getting the normal bonus at 50, he/she should get something more because of being the first, and being a MAGE: something like a HP staff, or a lvl 50 beagle, hehe. That could also create great publicity.

U make me feel like I should never have switched servers from Dep to Ken .. and then made three characters on Ken .. ^.^ ....... maybe I wouldn't have four 30+ guys and I'd have one in the running on one of those servers for the 50 spotlight. Even tho he's lvl 50 doesnt mean he's scary.. If he had good items like that lvl 58 DeathKnight then that would be scary.. but mages kinda suck 1v1 cause hes only a mage.
When hes lvl 52 then that would be good for a mage cause of the ac and hitting speed..
But Bapho and Beleth are pretty much are used to show off like the spell blizzard..
But Hype Items would be the difference rather then the level 50 ...
But hey Congrats for getting a mage out of all the other classes to 50..
Hope your loyal enough to wait till episode 12 cause that is when mages can even get there special scroll making thingy...
Still I think you should have spent all that time on a con knight instead...

He's got very good stuff. I wouldn't want to duel a mage in a speed morph with a +8 sof, hell no. Would HURT. ^^ he has mostly +6 and 7 items from what I've seen.

hell yea man.... that's what the hell ive been saying all these damn years about lineage.... NC soft is a bunch of dumb asses.. cause either way you look at it...lineage is completely a KNIGHT"S GAME!!!! :p and anyhow.. it doesnt matter what lvl a mage is, or what sp he has, or how much mp or high lvl spells he has. a good knight with 400-500 HP, and reasonable MP with +5-8 items across the board would defeat a weak ass lvl 50 mage in NO time at all.....god.. gimmie a break... what are you ppl thinking anyhow...
