Korean Test server updates 3/18

A new item has been added, its called a Greater Haste Potion. Basically it is a green pot, except instead of lasting 8 minutes, it lasts 30. However, it costs almost 8x more than a green. They are also considering adding a new level 7 spell called "Greater Haste" to the game. This new Greater Haste Potion weighs 14 (greens on US servers currently weigh 13).

Korean Test servers now have a fortune teller on Hidden Valley and Singing Island. (The US had them first and now they are getting it).

Potions of Bravery and Elven Wafers now do not "time stack". That is, if you take 10 braves at once, it will not last 10x longer than one brave - you basically just wasted 9 braves. However, to make up for them, they are now lighter (braves went from 18 to 9, wafers went from 8 to 5).

There was some kind of delay bug with Fruit of Ent and it wasn't healing as much as a Greater Healing Potion (clear). That was fixed.

Update:

Haste potions time has decreased to 5 minutes on test.

Haste spell time has increased to 5 minutes on test.

Haste no longer "time stack" anymore just like braves.

this update really sucks... so does most of the updates NCI does. Everything they do sux... well except for some things ^_^. Like giving mages alot of new spells =]!!!!! that i am grateful for

w00t we got the fortune teller update b4 korean server.... we are as up to date as the koreans! (in case n e NC employees read this i'm being sarcastic. I can't even consider NC Austin doing a "decent" job. it's plain crappy what they have done since beta.)

do the haste pots "time stack?". If they dont, then the greater hastes are good for the weight! why dont they make hastes 200a each on american servers! damn! people will be selling hastes in town for 120a. Thats half the price it is now -30a! poeple will be buying 5 hastes for the price that 2 hastes are now (300a)!

i like the greater haste idea!! why is it bad???
preatty handy for a bb mage!!!
just give each bb 1 greater haste and then as soon as it wears of, hunt is over, that way, the bbs will probably not be over full and they are hasted the whole time, woot, sounds really cool ^_^

it said the greater haste last for 30 min only
we have haste pots lasting 8 min but haste spell only last 3 min
so greater haste can't even last more than 10 min as a spell -____-

g-haste spell i guess can save us some money when hunting....

g-haste the item, itself is useless unless they make the haste time vs $$$ better than normal haste or giran dai shop keeper may find that g-haste is a worthless item to keep in stock.

well... they put the g-green pot in becuz they got rid of stacking...but i dont get why they took the stacking off in the first place...maybe there just trying to make the game harder...but, i like the g-haste spell becuz the regular haste spell only last 3 min -.-if they do hat they should make the g-haste spell last lik 30 min also...they should also keep the g-green pots but lower prices

well greater haste pot and greater haste spell looks nice.
making haste and brave lighter is good so we can take more healing pots.
i think only 1 brave can be used at 1 time is kinda sucky.

I slept for 15 hours last night. that scares me. I myself will be using the greater hastes so i dont need to cary 6 haste pots with me everywhere using one every 5 minutes when they wear out.

It doesn't mean green pots won't stack... and I guess I should sell my 1100 greens too... dang sell em for 250a now, buy back 200a later, or don't buy at all and just visit MLC for a few hours.

Is it true that all the old mops such as skeletons and dwarf warriors will drop g-green as well as n-green??

They did this update to stop ppl from carrying 2xx pots and 0 greens and braves when they hunt. This update doesn't affect me much since i use 1 green at a time anyway. Me = stingy tho greens are so cheap o.o.

I think its a wonderful idea.
Greens go down to 200 adena. new haste pot that give 30 minutes.
I mean its not that bad. so what if they dont time stack.

drink all the greens and braves and hastes before hunt is babo..
you'll never know who'll cancel you out of nowhere while you are getting gang by monsters 5:1 with possibly valuable drops and many pots left on you...
(except speed enchancing potions)

i got canceled by many ppl...in dv, in desert...in underwater..in mlc...
anywhere ppl might take the chance to kill you and get ur drop...so..
stacking is not that big a deal for me...or pks...

oh..i might sell greens...or waste on knight...

greater haste potion looks much nicer than haste potion...
bigger wooden cap (cork)
more bubbles (oooo....flashy)

and..(for non-knights only)
dont you hate knights stack their braves and then use their 180+reds/oranges/clears and then knock you out to the cold?...if they cant stack those speed time then they cant carry that many pots ^^

greater haste...haste spell...if cant stack..no point using haste spell..
with only 3min duration...
greater haste spell probably last for 5-15min...assuming the spell last 1/2 as long as the potion

hmmmmm.....they increase the haste spell duration...nice....but cant stack?...oh well...keep casting when wear off ^^

greens got too common....values drop...simple economics...
unless they make it with a great come back with almost nothing drop greens for at least a month ^^..then greens will increase price again ^^

anyhow...that's what i think...

^ Agreed.. That is the reason i drink my greens/wafers one by one as i always see ppl get cancelled and get pissed off.

G-green also looks nicer since the graphics are developed now and the older graphics was about 5 years ago. They render game graphics in 3D then change them into 2D i believe.

This change makes no difference. G-Greens cost the same and weigh less than 3 greens on the US servers - For the same time 'hasted'. So where's the change?

Admitedly braves/wafers not stacking is bad. Hopefully they'll increase the brave/wafer time - They're pretty light anyway, so you can carry loads
'Sides I carry all the haste/wafer I need all the time....
So this update is definitely no biggie.
