LoA Spotlight: Teckademics |
Last Saturday, 2SoonJr knight Teckademics joined the ranks of the Lands of Aden Bapho brigade. This knight would have leveled to 50 long ago if it weren't for his high risk lifestyle. Boss hunting does tend to slow down leveling, but Teck has been determined to conquer both.
Teckademics began playing Lineage four years ago on Depardieu, but he quit when the server went commercial. When he finally found his way back to Dep it was chock full of Death Knights and presented little opportunity for a newly returned player to make a big impression. So Teck moved to the Test Server ... and those days of Test served him well. There he met up with Heros and Meteorx, to whom he gives credit for all he has learned about fighting. With training in the brutal arts under his belt, Teck was ready to own when LoA went live.
Teck loves Lands of Aden, claiming it as the best server for balancing knight with other character classes, promoting all classes to work together. He praises lack of global for bringing pledges closer together and for making it rewarding to camp bosses without the whole server knowing the moment there is a spawn. He does feel that an improvement could be made to the Player Kill (PK) / Hell system, saying that the PK count should be raised to 100 before a player is sent to Hell. He feels that lower level players are abusing the system, taunting him (and other high level players) to end them in order to elevate his PK count. Teck doesn't think twice about Pking someone who taunts him, but knows at some point the PK count is going to prevent him from retaliating to these taunts. It is a problem he feels should be addressed.
The bosses on the Lands of Aden server rarely have a moment to themselves with Teckademics and his best friend in real, KKvsAll on the scene. Between these two players, Ancient Giant, Demon and Phoenix get a daily workout. When Teck is asleep, KKvsAll goes on boss patrol. When KK is asleep, Teck does his best to keep the lands boss-free. His best drop so far has been a Ring of Fire from Demon. KK's best drop is Titan Belt, which Teck feels privileged to borrow.
Teckademics is a con knight who plays 10-14 hours a day and frequently hunts Fire Valley, saying that he just can't stay away, it is the best place for him to level. He managed to gain 4-5% a day from level 49 to 50. His fav weapon is his versatile mailbreaker, though he doesn't care to disclose the details of his arsenal or AC. I'm sure the value of secrets is just another lesson learned from his days on Test.
Teck has a great entourage of friends, many of whom showed up for the screenshot through his coy protests of "Hey, these guys are making me look bad." He wants to give a shout out to KKvsAll, Heros, Sparkle, Arionna, Meteorx, Chrissy, Terry (Dlrmsgur), Kevin, and his BestofLineage friends. Sorry if i got any of that wrong, Teck. He also wants to say a special thank you to Heros for support through the last four years.
As if leveling and boss hunting isn't enough, Teck also plays an active roll helping to run his pledge, 2SoonJr. What a busy guy! And now that he is 50, he plans to spend even more time ending bosses.
Congratulations Teckademics and best of luck with your next level, your next boss, and with whatever else you choose to accomplish. |
