Newbie Items detailed

Jude1004.com also discovered some of the newbie items. They seem to have just as good AC as some regular armors and no level limit. However, they cannot be enchanted.

For starters, each class has a Training Armor Set. For example, Mages have a set of Mage's Training Shield, Mage's Training Helmet, Mage's Training Boots, Mage's Training Armor. However, their AC does change. Here are some that Jude1004.com listed:

Royal's Training Helmet: AC -2, weight 30, prince/princess only
Knight's Training Armor: AC -5, weight 150, knight only
Elves' Training Armor: AC -4, weight 150, elf only
Mage's Training Boots: AC -2, weight 30, mage only

There are also new weapons:

Training Sword: 7/8, weight 40, prince/princess, elf only
Mage's Training staff: 4/5, weight 20, mage only
Knight's Training Sword
Elven Training Sword

Hmmm... sounds almost like NC Korea are taking note of our LoA server and making the game more fun and easier to start playing.

Yeah jaire is right, LOA rocks its the only reason I still play, I do think thats cool stuff that NC Korea put out but 1mp ebolt cap and Orc set is better

I think we need to focus on noobs, but NC needs to focus on keeping the current vets too. The vets are the information people for the game, by ignoring them, NC will remove the primary source of information for noobs to use.

How much easier does this game need to be for new players? It was pretty easy even before SI and HV. Why can't they add more content like this for the average player? It bugs me how NCSoft never adds content to old game areas.

it'll be frustating if they make too much easly the lvling of noobs and when they 'll see how hard is outside (i think at mages who have to fight packs of lych/ww after noob island)

Like I said: Focus on keeping the vets going too...ToI is great, but hard for a small group, Twilight Mountains plain sucks and will be getting harder (with giants throwing rocks).

NC needs to first, stop nerfing the classes. Second, add new mops to the game, with new items (swords, armor, etc). Finally, make bosses spawn more often, perhaps lower the drop rate to counter the higher spawn rate (boss spawn rates are nuts, yes, some drop really well, but most drop crap --> Drake, Ifrit, Caspa Pack).

what we really need are some good items that arent neccesarily the BEST but are good items and are rivaling to the current best items in the game that way we get more variation in what people use...like stuff that has a slight drawback to it but also some great bonuses...maybe a new 2hs that kicks the tsu's ass but its 2h so it makes it sorta even and just a matter of preference...or like a weaker shield like a "spiked shield" that adds like +1 dmg but only has ac of like 1 or 2 and enhcants to 4...just to create variations in what every1 uses...

Yes new items are deffinitely a must, seems like almost every players in the game has the same items as everyone else. There's like only 4 swords that are comonly used: kat/bkat, rap, tsu. Bows : yumi, xbow, hunter. Staffs: som, sof. All other weapons are useless or rarely used. And most certainly almost everyone uses an elven shield. NC should take ideas from players for new items and put those ideas together and make like a few dozen new items that are equivalent to the ones already exist so that not everyone will be using an iron boots or elven shield.
Skeleton boots should be able to enchant to +4 and make boneset fully safe enchant to +4. I think many people would like a +4 boneset.
I know there are many players with many great ideas for new items, if NC just get off their lazy ass and ask they'll get hundreds of ideas, and they can mix and match with to make new cool items. NC SUCK! Lineage rule! NC makes Lineage SUCK! And its getting worst everyday.
Thats why I just cancelled my account.
Have fun everyone, I'll come back when NC hires a new team of staffs who knows
how to make the game fun again.

elven training SWORD thats bulls**t NC if your going to force a class to use a bow (only bow elf gets damage/accuracy bonuses for level and soft ac) why would you give them a sword to train with ~~

well just to point out one thing/The people that modifies lineage for dep and ken r NC Korea so no need to moan that items sux to NC US they cant do anything -well they can but only on their own server like LoA.
Also if u r so pissed about NC nerving classes then u could go to LoA and c what NC US has doen to try and balance the game
for the moment they did a great job with prince/ss and working magesd soon they will get new stuff for knights.Also most of the people who moan about nerving other classes r never happy,i remember when Mgaes where to strong so NC made them a bit weaker then it was knights then elves and u keep on moaning about NC nerving all the classes but it isnt an ez job to balance a game.Look at Blizzard who needs at least 4 mounths of beta testing ("open" beta testing)to balance their game (this is for the addon Frozen Trone) and their game isnt in continue updates ..... If u dont like the way things r then dont play but dont annoy other people with ur moaning (i wonder why some people still play ...)

The prince/princess training sword is also useable by the elves? What the hell for? That is ridiculous. Heaven forbid the royals ever get a weapon that only they can use. You know, when NC finally does allow some royal only weapon to exist, it will probably be something lame like a fencing coil.

if nc added new items to the game, i seriously doubt they'd be balanced, which is required for there to be variety in everyone's equipment. so the new items would either be worthless like most items in the game, or better than the current best equipment, making your current items that you've spent so much time on obsolete. either way it's no good, i'm sick of new items being added, seriously

adding new hunting spots and stuff is similar. they're either useless, or too good, which makes much of the time you've spent in old areas wasted

most updates boil down to new graphics or new stuff that wastes the time you've put into the game so far

New items that are too good or new areas that are too good... a bad thing? Are you serious? Well golly-gee, I suppose I wasted all my time learning to ride a bike, cuz my car is just so much better. Though I have such fond memories of my Huffy!! Oh, and I was born in California, but growing up there was a HUGE waste of time, cuz I moved to Texas where the cost of living is better and I don't have to worry about earthquakes. Parents... sheesh - fools for wasting their time in Cali making babies!

This is just the natural progress of technology. There will always be new lands discovered, or newer and better items created. Raise your hands if you guys wish you were still using your old 486DX2s - anyone? anyone? I didn't think so. Move on and progress.
