12/14/2001 - NCsoft, maker of Lineage: the Blood Pledge, announced that it had teamed up with BroadJump, a producer of broadband installation software. NCsoft has joined BroadJump's Content and Applications Partners Program which is, in essence, a collection house for software contributed by developers like NCsoft which can then be offered, through BroadJump, to the consumer at the point of broadband installation.
This means that when people install DSL/cable modem, Lineage will come with their installation CD. Good way to get people to try. |
