Dragon Droppings ^^

An interview on Lineage Playforum was posted between someone who was present during the slayings of both Antharas and Fafurion (yes, they have killed them both). I've already shown a pic of a crystal plate mail that Lostheaven found on the test server. Apparently, ANY time you kill one of those dragons, the crystal plate mail drops. Here are some more drops:


The tsurugi (16/10, +2 to hit, weight 60, knight only), always drops from both dragons. It can sometimes can be blessed.	Eva's Shield (AC -3, +20HP, hastes wearer, can be worn by all, weight 50) is not dropped, but can be made with the scales you find from Fafurion. We think that a single Fafurion kill will give you more scales than you need for a single shield because the person had both the shield and leftover scales.

This is a +1 STR ammy, weight 5 - I don't think it can by zel'd, since it's not (normally Korean servers zel the heck out of it everything they find)	This is a +1 INT ammy.

A ressurection book. According to the person who had it, it is unofficially in the game. I think that means that it's a big surprise. ^^	There are scales (blue - Fafurion, green - Antharas). As you can see they are left over AFTER making the shield. I think when the dragons die, there is a scale explosion and lots of people get lots of scales.

why is a CPM so good i do not know.... i know it is rare but it is just as good as a epm... epm can go safely to +6... giving it 12 ac... CPM goes safely to +4, also giving it 12 ac... can somebody clear this up for me?

If I had a guess (and this is just a guess) I would say that cpm + scales = dragon scale mail in a future update.

Just an observation, but if we got every char online to go after a dragon, we would only have about 400 people (Dep server). 1000 people on korean servers died to Antharas. All were supposedly 40+. Draw your own conclusions.... EdgyAsHell

What do you guys expect theyve had the game alot longer so some of the charcters are frighteneingly powerful like that lvl 54 knight with -59 ac no shield all +8 normal +10 elven wouldnt get you that ac!! also haveing over a thousand players would help alot ken still hasnt broken 300 when ive been on :(

200 mages casting disintegrate on antharus would help aswell..I'd say thats 20-50 damage each, and then about 500 dex elves just pumping arrows into him. It's not how strong you are, it's how many you can get to zap him at the same time.

I've been told and some people have tested that when 2 knights with same stats, same lev similar hp dual, one with elven items (EPM, ES) the other knight items (PM, TS) the knight items one will more likely to win. Donno if this is completely true though. Also I was wondering... why does he have a bone helm, bone armor, dwarvis short sword and dwarvish round sheild ~_~ Well I understand if the bone stuff was +'d but he is rich why does he need to sell dwarvish items T_T

Other things they mentioned in that story were that they had to meet in a remote secluded location to have the interview. I think those items are normally kept in storage so that people don't jump you and get you to drop them. So, I assume the crappy items were part of the strategy to not get jumped.

The video I saw of the Fafurion pummeling (it didn't show him dying, just people there) had about 50-60 people running around and ALOT of long, long distance eruption mages. I think it just takes some practice. If we tried often enough, we could do it. Fafurion is also much easier to get to than Antharas is.

ya amer fafurion is a lot EASIER to get to but he also has a mulitple LONG RANGE attack tha will wipe us all out in 1 blow >.<

Whether you all know it or not, b-tele will help us alot in killing the dragons. We just bookmark the closest place to them we can get, then we don't have to waste all the time walking back to them. We just store the stuff we know we will need when we die, get it out of storage, b-tele, wait for a group, then rush in a try it again. Of course alot of people will die :(

I think the reason is that the softcap was raisen with Hiene update, it was raised with this current update as well on US servers. I have seen many people talking about stunning % increases. I am rusty as well but I took a stroll though DV , and my % shot up like uh nevermind a family website. I went from low 40s to high 4x.42% , so I think that is the reason

Well, we don't have a good strategy for Fafurion, yet. Cause of his friggin multi attack.. But Antharus shouldn't be THAT hard. Of course, those elves might not be able to hit him. But if we we had about 100 highlev elves doing their best with bows and, we got 200 mages to zap with erupt/disintegrate at their best for a while he should die..and yeah, I've calculated on his hp/mr%/regen speed. :)

Distintegrate prolly will never get put in because it will be too strong and then mages will be the best, and we all know that NC favors knights.

They should favor us wee elves, and put freakin wafiers in the game like they said they would! Yumi will help elves out alot, we get +2 damage over the x-bow on large mops. That and yumi looks the coolest :) Anyone know if it does double damage to undead yet? It takes alot of ori, so I figured it does, haven't tested it yet though. Too lazy :)

linspatz's theory (and i think it's a good one) is that they are beefing up all classes slowly. Mages don't have disintegrate/Elves don't have wafers because knights would be overwhelmed. So likely they will beef up knight more befor they introduce the powerful mage/elf toys.

It's not in the game yet, but it will come.. If NC favors knight, why would they put in Yumi and Mageset? :) Believe me..Disintegrate will be out before next episode.

Me too, a low level summon mage can take most of DV by themselves. Thats a bit powerful I think.
