An Unusual Weekend

Are you ready for a special Lineage weekend? Starting Saturday, December 15th at approximately 6:00 PM CST, the creatures of Aden will venture forth into the world with their pockets slightly more weighted than normal. The changes will continue for several hours that evening, and will once again be increased for an additional period starting at approximately 12:00 PM (Noon) CST on Sunday, December 16th. Hunt early, hunt often, and join the fun as we celebrate the weekend in the world of Lineage! (If time zones confuse you, use this this clock for the countdown.)
A faint smile danced across her lips as Elindare gazed out across the Forest of Mirror from her window high atop Heine Castle. In the distance, she watched a pack of her finest dark elven minions as they cornered a lone prince and pierced him with deadly mithril arrows. The prince fought well, but not well enough, and Elindare relished his grimace of pain as at last he fell lifeless to the dirt.

One of the minions stepped forward and tugged at his corpse briefly. Tugging a shining helmet from his head, she raised the loot to watch it reflect in the sunlight before tucking it away in her backpack. Shouldering their bows, the pack of minions quickly stepped over the fading corpse and headed off into the forest. To the east, a pack of serpents slithered by, pausing to nod in recognition to the minions. All was continuing strictly according to plan – but for the appearance of the one they called Lord British, stirring up discontent on Talking Island.

A shuffling sound caught Elindare’s attention from the room behind her and she turned to face a shaking dwarf inching up behind her.

“M’m’m’… m’lday!” The dwarf briskly attempted to salute, bow, and snap to attention at the same time - and failed miserably at all three. “I bring news of the fields!” he shouted.

Crossing her arms over her black, velvet wizard robe, Elindare leaned slowly against the stone wall and glanced down at the dwarf.

“Yessss?” She narrowed her eyes as the dwarf continued.

“Errr. Mmm… mmm… Magic! The magic! It’s gone a bit. Well. You see…” he stammered, “The troops that are losing… not that there are any, of course! But those that aren’t returning to the castle, well. Something has changed.”

Elindare uncrossed her arms and with a brief gesture summoned a sparking ball of light and began to bounce back and forth between her hands as she watched the dwarf bumble his excuses. She said nothing.

“Well, m’lday. We… we… we send out the troops with enough rations and items that they may need, b-but word has filtered back that they when lost in battle they carry even more items. And… and… well, it’s not just our troops. It’s all of the creatures of Aden.”

The ball of light vanished with a snap and Elindare stood silent staring at the dwarf as he fidgeted in front of her. After a moment she turned back to the window, passing her gaze across the forest to where the minion party was once again embroiled in battle with a pair of knights. Her brow furrowed in the slightest scowl as she watched the battle unfold beneath her and her lips barely twitched as she mouthed the word, “British.”

KnightSpirits - the clock is indeed set for 7pm ET. Why do you think that it is 1 hour off? What does it tell you at what time?

Elindare! Damn it look , read the books and look at history, monsters and minions don't work! If you are really powerful either 1) Summon something really nasty , wipe Talking Island off the face of Aden (turn it into Wasteland) 2) Put a Bounty on British's head , say 1 million per silver charm he carts around , hell use the dog bug on him , and then scream "Help evil man and the guards will end him for you!" 3)Make some magic weapons , give them to some mops that have low ac, and for God's sake train them. Get yours a team of suped up BKS , and BKS healer, give them blizzard and let them go to town. 4) Release the bosses from the dungeons, just let them run amok.

*Shrugs* I am happy that someone at NC has enough knowledge of the Lineage storyline to weave something believable into it. I also like the fact that NC seems to be trying harder to please gamers.
Amer keep up the good work. Someone save me a wishbone or something.

This event was one of the best I have taken part in. I got enough money to drop my ac by 10 and I now have enough greens to last. Thanks to NC for the great hunting. Do you think there will be one for exp as well? :]
