Poseidon is level 61 now.

Poseidon (Korean servers) is now level 61. With the new DEX-based AC bonus that is on the Korean servers right now, his overall AC is -73.

A recap of the points he has chosen: Since he is level 61, he has had 11 points he could distribute. He has added 7 to his STR and 4 to his CON. His overall STR (with enchantments/items) is 30 and his overall CON is 22. He also noted some kind of carrying capacity bug, that NC is working to resolve.

He wants to 1:1 Antharas when he reaches level 65.

For the curious, Poseidon was using a +8 tsurugi (it's 1-handed in Korea) on Jan. 24 (the last time we heard from him). We don't know if that has changed. His AC has not changed since Jan 24, just the dex bonus on top of -65 AC. It should be noted that his MR set is now at -69 AC with the dex bonus.

he has -73 ac due to the dex bonus that has been put into effect on Korean servers. divide 61 by 7 (12 is a typical unmodified starting Dexterity of a knight.) 8.71 is the answer, round down you get 8. So he has -8 ac due to the dex bonus.

You can gain 1 level (at 50+) every 13 days if you hunt non-stop and have a steady in-flux of cash from someone. Him and his friends probably have more than 1 account so the main one can "feed" off the other(s).

interesting your right he would need a steady flow to continue on but of course this is highly difficult becasue it would take quite a while to gain those levels and to get to that level he would still need cash. My guess is the some or all of his *really* good freinds contributed all their money to him. then fromn what i hear it is even hard to get levels fast from 49 to 50 my guess is that he would have to play for 24/7 and only take 2 day intervals to rest. unless he ahs freinds to play.

I reckon with his ac he could easily go after the much harder monsters (DVC and near valakas lair) as if it was a normal hunting zone.... and not spend to many pots.
Also with his MR set, can anyone work out what his MR% would be? like 70?

For the average korean player, its hard to level since almost everything is camped. However, last time i checked this guy has a pk count of 200++, My guess is that when he wants to hunt somewhere, he does and everyone lets him. This guy is a mini dragon, i bet he could 1:1 town guards with just reds.

In the last article, he said he attends every seige he is asked to. And I think I remember his PK count to be 400+, not entirely sure though. And over there they have Hell. Although he PKed all those people before they added it, I'm sure he'd be pissed if he PKed someone and sent to Hell.

at -73 ac.... most monsters will miss him, spending less pots and less time getting pots. Probably his dk morphed braved could kill dv skeles before it can hurt him.

well, last time he hunted DVC for exp and it cost around 16 mil adena per level. But I'm sure he'd get some drops there too, but he'd definitely need to be fed from friends. But that's not hard to find. Promise me some dragon scale mail and you can take my money too. ;p

that dex bonus is invincible... ok, now i agree that the dex bonus should be on american servers, only they should change it to,
18 dex, -2ac every 8 levels,
16-17 dex, -2ac every 9 levels,
14-15 dex, -2ac every 10 levels,
12-13 dex, -2ac every 11 levels,
10-11 dex, -2ac every 12 levels,
7-9 dex, -2ac every 13 levels.

no dex is suppose to be range fighters, but they cannot use sheild so this is to compensate for that.

my theory on how he levels so much is not only the fact he has more than himself playing and is probably never offline is that he has friends with 40+ chars and pks their chars and they keep gaining back that exp...if it works that way i never tried. also does he gain exp during wars? Either way i bet hes exploiting a bug of some sorts. And yes he and his other addicts need to get a life(and no its not an insult its merely fact)

1) Not only elves use bows. It would have to affect everyone.
2) This bonus would MORE than compensate for a sheild.
3) The sheild should not be compensated. You give up a little AC for longranged attacks.

And if you think I'm just whining, I'm not - In fact, I only play on one char: a lvl 35+ 18 dex elf. I just highly believe this would unbalance the game. I believe the Dex/AC bonus should go to a Char/AC bonus. The Princes/ses need more to go on, but of course would help everyone.

only a idiot would use a bow when the mop/player is right up in ur face. this update i think mostly made to defend elves from pks at close range. also princes are made to be weak. if u want a stronger prince, make all 3 other classes stronger. prince is designed to rely on others. stronger his friends are the stronger the prince is.

As you said, princes/ses should be weak. So lets make the princes/ses weak and have their own part in lineage. Oh, but you want elves with a bow and no sheild have more AC than a knight with sword and sheild? I don't see this making sense. Keep one classed nerfed while you uber out another?

I believe that there should be some AC given to elves. Maybe a buckler, only wearable when you weild a bow. It is safely +ed to 4 (like all normal armor) and starts out at +0 (like T-Shirt). A bonus -4ac is better than an extra -10 over melee-made knights.

im sorry yeildarb ive got a lvl 34dex elf 19dex (with boe) and i know if we get the acbonus it will be benificial to us elfs ive duelld higher lvl knights with me having higher ac and ive still lost it only sofend the impact of there hits. i hope they come out with the dex ac bonus it will help us all out in the end.

That's exactly what I've been saying - Elves aren't made for 1:1 melee. They are more usefull making items, having a higher dex, and in seiging for long-range attacks. We don't need to be masters of the 1:1 melee.

hmm..yeildarb. i hope u know who this is..let me say that you should think before you type anything. and another thing is this..lern two speel oka? buckler is dumb idea..and on top of that, the dex/ac bonus is good. by giving an elf a little more ac doesnt make up for a knights ac set. and as we all know a knight will always win against an elf. and another thing is i know ur real lvl. sorry..just felt like tellin u how it is. dont hate me for revealing the truth. someone just had to do it.

And I didn't lie about my lvl... much :) So I'm actually 32.52.

And I never said I don't like the Dex/AC idea, but I don't like it at the moment. Right now, it would unbalance the classes. The best way I see the classes balanced and semi-ubered out (well, compared to now) it to add the Dex/AC thing, make Tsuragi 1handed, take away helms of magic from knights and give to princes/ses, and add more spells and raise the cap on som. Like I said, I don't think the Dex/AC thing is a bad idea, I just think the timing is wrong to add it to US servers.

It's time the US server got the DEX AC bonus. It's just unfair to read about these super players on the other servers. Their items can be zeled/daied higher, they get more events, and now this AC BS!!!! Lets go NC, time to start evening out the servers!!!!

Their items can't be zelled/daied higher -_-;; it's the same as over here.

And yes, he'd be only lvl 65, but he'd have almost double the AC of Antharas, and he'd have pots.

Antharas = lvl 90 -47AC No pots Posiedon = lvl 65 -80AC (around that by the time maybe) and Pots (clears, greens, braves, and DK morph)

I think it would be a close match.

Yeildarb well ac dont really matter that much since antharas does 600+ dmg and poseidon does dunno how much but not eaven close to 100, and 1 more thingy poseidons hp sucks for a con knight since he added last lvl up bonus points to his last lvl ups >< instead of first lvl ups and gain lots more hp.

lol, sorry. It's just that this is exactly like the opposite of the official lineage boards.

AC does matter -_-;; try a lvl 40 knight and a lvl 1 knight with same AC. The only difference is the HP and ER (well, differences that would matter)

Baboman your name says it all. You really are foolish. Its not hard to get 61 in 3 years and -70 ac. I had over 60+ ac on .77 server and that server only lasted 1.4 years.
