Gamespot Review of Lineage (ouch)

kyoto found this (recent) review where Gamespot gave Lineage a 5.5 out of 10. Now, lets all accept that it's hard to be a reviewer, especially when reviewing a game which grows on you like Lineage and isn't filled with in-your-face razzle-dazzle and is all downhill from there. So, let's just shake our heads with pity at Gamespot for their short-sightedness. ^^

You know, if the review ever passed lvl 10 he would have rated the game much better. I mean even at lvl 40 in lineage, ppl are learning and experiening new events and monsters and rare items. And that stupid homo writer goes up to lvl 6, which really sucks, writes a review about the game? That's so typically homophobic. Screw that writer. He's gay!

All the normal Lineage user immaturity nothwithstanding, the reviewer was pretty much right on (the kind of immaturith displayed in Fuzzle and GeZibeae's articles is part of the reason we get bad press anyway you guys... DUH!).

Granted, he didn't level very far, obviously. However, his comments about the lack of sophistication in AI, gameplay and graphics were right on imho and I love this game. His comments about the laggy, underpowered servers were also right on.

All in all, and again, I love this game, the reviewer made a pretty objective review.

The pics showing someone at level 10 are promotional pics. I've seen ton of sites use those pics. KTHNX LA! ^^
