dog auto-haste
Edgy has more patience than me. He kept pestering NC until he got a decent answer about dog auto-haste. And remarkably, he did!

Currently, once a dog reaches level 25, they get a speed boost which usually lasts approximately one hour. This speed boost is refreshed if the dog is kenneled and re-claimed.

Hmm... my dog only seems to be hasted for an hour after every LEVEL, not after every rekennel. Perhaps my dog is stoopid :(

how cool. so basically your dog is on perm haste as long as you throw it in the kennel every hour or so, thats so sweet.

So after each level up after 25 does the hour stay an hour or is it get longer?

I thought a dog got haste at lvl up and then stayed hasted untill it had 15% experience, I tried that myself and so far all 3 times that I checked my dog had 16% when it lost haste. Oh well, this is lots better, as you can have your dog permhasted.

humm....... after the one hour of haste runs out and you rekennel does the dog get haste back or does it only refresh if you rekennle before the 1 hour elapses?

I think from my testing with this last night that you have a total of 1 hour with your dog out of kennel that it is hasted. One way or another it has changed from the old system where at level 26 your dog becomes permanentally hasted.
