Not sure on which Korean server this is occurring on, but it looks like there is a DEX/level bonus on AC:

DEX	gain -1 AC
7 - 9	every 8 levels
10 - 12	every 7 levels
13 - 15	every 6 levels
16 - 17	every 5 levels
18	every 4 levels

We found more information about those amulets we posted a few days earlier. It appears that each amulet was part of an event on the Japanese servers. You must go pray at a lawful temple, then find the secret merchant, and exchange gems for an amulet (the gems are the regular gems -- like a plain old diamond). It doesn't appear that the amulets have any function, but they do have cool names (Amulet of Luck, Amulet of Truth, Amulet of Miracle, etc)

Hang on. So dex elves (18dex) at lvl 40 should have bonus -10ac! Wow....

What happens with dex spell, boe, and xbow = 24dex (I think). That's -1ac every 0.5 level?

This Site Rocks!! Oh and um i don't think you get more ac for +1 dex items
like BOE and DEX BOW, i think its just your base Dex so lvl 48 dex elf -12 ac with 18 dex. Makes sense thou more dex harder to hit.

that means that a -48 dex elf (lvl 48) will automatically go to -60ac (-12 bonus) plus -4ac with spells....-64ac??

That sounds a bit much, unless other classes get some kind of ac bonus for a particular stat....something.

Yea, but only elves have 18dex.

Agreed theelfquickwind - Must only be your base dex that affects it.....
Sounds quite cool - This'll make elves much stronger -Knights+Princes strong, and mages weaker... which makes sense.

Elfs are NOT weak now. Their wafers might be a little hard to make now, but they are NOT weak. Another other class would be useless to put Dex stat points. IF this would ever happen it would equal many, many deleted CON elfs. They'd be useless compared to Dex. Dex would have better ER, better ac, same Str. Little less hp, but the ac and bow ability would be more than the lost hp. BAD IDEA, and i'm sure NC would never go for it anywayz

Go ahead and remake your elves into dex...

...but I will be keeping my con elf.
I, as a con elf, can still carry more than a dex elf, have more hit points, and get -5 better AC in comparison to an elf using a bow.

Keep in mind that knights would be getting a slight bonus as well, perhaps to somewhat make up for the lack of shield during hunting (not dueling, although I know a Tsurugi knight in ghast morph could kill my elf if I don't pay attention) with a Tsurugi.

Even though I doubt this will ever show up on our servers, it would be nice to get an extra 7 ac bonus once I reach lvl 49. I remember someone bringing this up on the Lineage boards about 2 months ago and I thought it was the best suggestion in a long time. Maybe the Korean monitors watch our boards?

I think this would help encourage hunting in spots that suit your level(As of now I think ac matters more than level, so if you had a level 25 character and it was your first you probably couldnt hunt in too many spots without getting beat down)... Like this way the higher level you are you have that extra bump of AC. Also it would make Dex characters viable I guess. Here's to hoping it comes here.

em...i think u can make the follow changes to the classes
18dex elves (-1ac/4lv) - over 1/3 elves in lineage r in this stat already
18dex mages (-1ac/4lv) - i dont think anyone KEEP this stat -_-"
18dex prince(ss) (-1ac/4lv) - then again..this stat makes charisma goes to 13
while str is 11 and con 10....pretty weak in stat
16dex knights (-1ac/5lv) - 16str 16dex 14con knights...hmm....unless got good
ac p-g str ammy str enchant...heh...

then again...no one play their characters focusing on their other stats when ppl want that extra ac....

knight already have a lot of ac...korean server got at least 4ppl having over -58ac...crazy....us servers knights making -50ac not hard...
-calculating that 12dex -1ac/7lv...lv 49 -7ac total..that's -57ac...aint that powerful to knights?...or just creating another in-balance..in this-so-called-knight game

elves...elves cant beat knights even with 18dex....lv 48 -12ac in total...
but comparing to that low str...even with str ammy p-g str enchant (19str there)
they still weak since knights can just use str enchant and p-g too
(16str minimum + 7str = 23str minimum)...so...that only favor for ppl to make dex elves instead of con elves...which is ok...but still get killed by knights...
in duel?...18dex elf vs 18con elf with same ac same weap is a stalemate in case
u ppl ASSUME CON IS BETTER......con only good if u lag a lot...have that extra hp in case u might get lag out and die...sometimes that hp boost might save u that 10% at lv 47 o.o....but then again...hunting use pots anyway--"..18dex DOESNT increase dmg on monsters using bow...only INCREASE ACCURACY...str is dmg

11str 18dex 10con 13charisma prince, need i say more?...

18dex mage...well....it really doesnt help if mage only gain 1more er per 10lv..
-12ac...that's good...but bad on other stat...with 18dex...maybe lowering int wis or con...that's not good...

and i think that ac thing only apply on base dex stat...
18dex elves using dex enchant (+5dex) dex bow (+1dex) boe (+1dex)..that's 25dex
so i wonder do they get -1ac per lv?...maybe gm wont let THAT happen...heh..or else even gm cant kill dex elves in 1:1 duel~~...lv 48 -48ac bonus while wearing -48ac set...that's total -96ac.....o.o..im dreaming.....

anyhow...that's what i think...or just data trash for you...
