dex elf newbie guide

A bone set might be more useful for low lvl, if you can get one

Problem with bone set is that dex elves cannot use the shield. So it's just the armor and helm.

I leveled my dex elf differently... But this is on test server
Do this ONLY if you are rich or the good drops from test
1-5 EF north shooting at wolves o.o
5-8 Kobolds and goblins at skt
8-10 Skeletons west of skt
10-30 mlc 1f, you can easily get to 30 or more here

Forget that you're a dex elf for a few levels, I experimented with bone set and ended up using it until my high 30's with just a +0 or +1 kat as my main weapon. The upside was the AC bonus for the set + the HP bonus and an orc ammy that made up for the difference.
