What is a Veteran Question?

A Veteran Question is generally considered to be a detailed, in-depth question about the game that players are unable to answer themselves through the course of normal gameplay, or from consulting the official Lineage website, fansites, or their fellow players.

For example:

“From your spell guide, it says that Curse: Poison is a Water element spell. Scorpions seem to cast the same poison that Curse: Poison does -- that is, the effects are the same (1-4 HP loss every 2-3 seconds). It seems to be a natural assumption that wearing 2 Ring of Water Resistance would reduce the probability of a successful Poison attack by Scorpion, however it seems to have no effect. Is the Poison of Scorpions a different element?”

This is the sort of question that will necessitate us to consult with our QA and Development Teams, both in Austin and in Seoul, to answer.

Please keep the following guidelines in mind before posting:

1. Submit only two questions. As the question-taking will be open for a week, please take some time to come up with your questions; if you wish for further clarification on a past Veteran Question, feel free to make that one of your two questions.
2. We will only be answering 10-15 questions per round of Veteran Questions, so please take care not to duplicate already-asked questions from past rounds.

The question-taking will end on Tuesday, July 29th. Question submissions should be entered via our Support Tool using the “Ask a Question” tab. Please be sure to enter “Veteran Questions” into the Subject line, and include your character name and a server to which your question may be credited.
