Level 50 Quest Items

Prince Sceptre: 14/14, +1 to hit, Royal Only, weight: 110, can be enchanted to +6
Death Blade: 16/8, +2 to hit, Knight Only, weight: 100, can be enchanted +6
Crystal Ball of Mana: -3 AC shield, +100 MP, Mage Only, weight: 50, can be enchanted to +4
Fire Bow: 3/3, +2 to hit, +4 damage, Elf Only, weight: 30, can be enchanted to +6
Fire Blade: 14/6, +4 to hit, Elf Only, weight: 110, can be enchanted to +6

I think that sheild would be perfect if it had been +6 safe enchant, seeing how the others are aswell. +100 mp will really help out those 18con/18int/16wis mages or str mages.

The mage shield sux too... Why do i have to loose spell power at lvl 50?

Unless it does what int shield already do plus something, i say its poorly designed. Come on, its a lvl 50 item, it shouldnt be another option to the player, should be the uber option, better then the rest.

The sayha bow has the same stats as the fire bow, but the sayha bow is gonna be easier to get. Seeing as how there are not even 10 lvl50+ princes on all the US server combined these items are gonna be pretty rare.

Prince Sceptre: very nice, just hope isnt 2h

Death Blade: good weapon, but cant see many knights using it as will only be +7's around unless they blow coz they got +8-9tsu

Crystal Ball of Mana: decent shield, id prefer bomp probably tho but this is for 50+ ppl....
Fire Bow: sayha bow except 3/3 instead of 4/4

Fire Blade: 14/6, nice weap for str/con

Prince sceptre isn't much better than a katana =/

Katana is 10/12 and weighs 40, while sceptre is 14/14 and weighs more than 2.5x as much..... who's gonna want *that* thing? They both have the same bonus "to hit", too........ and getting one to +8 will be rare, indeed.

Junk.

I'd rather have a "Royal Seal"..... make it a little better than an elven shield, since royals lack a decent shield. With a charisma prince, damage is pretty much going to be a write-off, so I've gotten used to not doing much dmg :p

I would go for the fire blade
the fire bow kinda sucks
cuz
unless u're going to get the fire bow to +8 or +9
it really isn't worth it
like I already got a +8 yumi which equals the same power lvl as +7 fire bow would and I can probably get a +9 yumi easily compared to fire bow
yeah, may equal the power of the sayha bow except the base is better for sayha (like that matters...lol) but I doubt this fire bow shoots magical arrows like the sayha which makes the sayha bow a strong ass weapon (based on what ppl who owned a sayha bow said, the magical arrows make the weapon extremely powerful compared to using normal silver arrows)
the blade is much more worth it since the best melee weapon for elf is rapier or kat?
not like all of us can have an ancient sword

the royal weapon is quite amazing and I don't think any royal can complain about that weapon cuz those stats r good and worth reaching lvl 50 for hehe considering again that u won't be able to get yourself an ancient sword
only bad part is the weight, but I'm sure a royal can get around that

the mage's shield is quite alrite, the additional MP is very useful
I think there r times when u need mp and other times when u need your int when hunting
hey, I don't have a lvl 50+ mage, speak to lvl 50+ mages and see what they think about the item
would be better if it was safe enchant +6 cuz it seems to be like a tower shield with 3 AC as a base

death blade.....what an useless weapon for knight.....lol....
just get a tsu....which is much better than a death blade.....
unless there r some special properties to the weapon.....
I don't see it to be worth it for a knight to get the item unless u get it for the hell of it......

valok looks cool though...
really an optional quest for u to take...
plus going to be impossible to find a lvl 50+ char for each class to help u out (especially for the royal class)
we'll probably see a few of these quest items on ken server, maybe one on dep and one on loa?
barely any royals, few mages, a growing population of elves, massive amount of knights
everyone benefits in some way except for the knight lol

if im not mistaken, the hit rate is faster on a prince with a staff than with a sword, which i guess is meant to make up for that weight.

The prince animation for a staff is the same one they use for axes. I'll have to try out a staff to see if it's faster. That'd be some help, but at 50+, those royals are using bapho/dk: swing rate isn't much of a reason to go for this heavy item.

Better AC would be nice :) Or braves :D

Why u complaining about the sword?

I see its look pretty nice. Its almost like they are pratically giveing lvl 50+ players a tsu.

You dont like it? cause it has 2 less damage on big monsters? when the hell did u ever use tsu on big mops anyways. ppl also say it dont break.

in my book, The knight sword is better then a tsu. If i dont like it, it can go glow silver violently and evaporate away.

and Besides i know there are people out there that never even used a tsu to lvl from 1-50, *cough cough* arriona *cough cough* quest like these are ment for them. they give lvl 50+ players a free better then tsu sword.

if you dont like it. then dont use it. your complaining makes u sound like newbs.

err nc mages dont need another shield, the int book is nice for int mages. hey if the crystal ball added +1 int and the other stuff i would be happy. or another solution is to go ahead and add like +6 mp regen instead of the int bonus.

Wow. Knights get a sword thats worse than a Tsu... Great... lol. I seriously doubt that it'll be better than a TSU. Although I have heard that it's unbreakable. It would be nice to have a decent sword that does good dmg to bigger mops too though. Something like 16/12 would be nice... Oh well, can't have everything U want...
Looks like I'll push my prince to 50 before I lvl my knight to 50 now. The sceptre looks like a decent item even if it is pretty heavy. Got a lvl 50 knight and a near lvl 50 elf in party, need a near lvl 50 mage now...
Oh, and to who said that the crystal ball should be +6 like the other items, the other items are weapons so they're +6 automatic.
Nitrogun, most mages I know have pretty decent spell damage? What are your stats?

Man, that knight weapon sucks, i'm not even gonna bother with that quest. I'd rather the lvl 50 knight quest reward be:

knights are relatively easy to level to 50...
i assume these items are meant as rewards... so the knights get shafted cause its easier to level them

give mage an item that polies them into a braved knight o.o

i still can't wait for that fire sword... only 60% more o.o

if not, then Knights got nothing to complain about, cuz if it really doesnt break, then it is a super dama, and im sure lots of people would buy it.
so if it can be used be 49-, then Knights could do the quest just for a bit of extra money, and for helping there mage, prince, and elf friends get super items ^_^

everyone keep in mind that probably the quest can only be completed once
hence if your server has only 3 lv 50 prince then only 3 lucky elves mages and knights will get the quest items.

If i want more MANA, i would use +50mp belt, mage set...
Since i have +9SOM, A-robe and Mana cloack, i dont need more MANA! I love my INT shield and i wont give it up! not for 100 mana --;

#32 im 18int/18wis mage and have 15SP base and my spelldamage sux!

If the initial quest items from the lvl 45 quest are not used up it may be possible for a person to take part in the quest more than once, although they would only get the reward the first time. If that becomes true then the level 50 Princes can keep doing the quest to let others finish it. I expect that that is how it will work on the LoA server at least.

Pointer -> Unbreakable makes Death blade best fighter sword in siege, since mages can't weapon break you, you have nothing to worry about.

If deathblade is unbreakable it is kinda neat. But unbreakable swords are still able to get broken by the spell. IF deathblade was unbreakable AND silver THEN it may be a good item. For now, it is just another item..

Mage item is sweet. I would rather have a 100 MP shield than a +1 SP shield. Dunno why the rest of you are bitching about that one.

None of the quest items suck. It is just that the strengths of these items are not yet known. There must be a reason for getting these items over other stuff.. It is a level 50 quest after all..

most 50+ knights are noobs and/or new users. :) ok, some are but not most.
and if they really are that noob....they need to be shot.

scepter = awesome, finally something good for princes

fire blade = badass, con elves will own sieges. especially if 52+...ouch!! and with b2s/water they will be unstoppable...literally

fire bow = personal choice probably, would be cool to say you have one though

death blade = better than tsu. quit whining you stupid knights, at least they didnt leave tsu 2handed. yall woulda been screwed if not for it being 1handed ;)

crystal ball = choice between 100mp and 1 int
good for 18 con/int mages who always run out of mana. but again, personal choice and play style.

#60 we are bitching about this ball because we are very high lvl int/wis mages and spent alot adena's on getting a decent BOMP, im in the same boat as tissot although not that high lvl as him...

the main problem i have with the mage quest item is that most of the other class quest items dont take the same slot. and if they do take the same slot the higher lvl item is a significant upgrade to it. the lvl 50 mage item is not a good upgrade to the int book

plus if u are a int mage the int book is great cause the extra sp you get really helps. a extra 100 mp is not worth loosing a extra sp.

I still fail to see how that death blade is better than my tsu at all o.0 I mean most mops that break weapons are big right, so isn't dama better?
I'm not too sure but I think croc, golem, crust, break swords and they are all big. So why exactly would I go through the insanity of getting a level 50 prince for an item that is inferior to my dama and my tsu and my red knights sword for that matter?

No lvl 50+ princes o.o. 50+ quest items should be alot better then present so players are encouraged to get to 50+.

i don't think they will put tsurugi back to 2hand sword... it's kinda impossible.. and it would suck so bad.. also all the players will complain to NC that they are stupid/dumb/as smart as a turkey...

The prince item would be ok if you are a str prince. If not (as it is my case) I wouldnt be able to carry anything... wait, Im not able to carry anything now anyway... who needs OJ's?

The prince item is indeed heavy but given it's stats i think it is worth it, especially on small mops.
U'll carry a little less pots but the extra damage would really help, and if you hunt with a sword,it is likely that you will go overweight anyways (belts such as ogre or troll belt might be a good investement i guess).

Bkat is 10/12 +1 to hit, a + 7 sceptre would still deal more dmg than a +9 bkat or 10 bkat (except on large mops for the latter case), albeit a +9 or 10 bkat will have a total of +5/6 respectively hit bonuses, where the +7 sceptre will only have 4. If the sceptre behaves like staves and is unbreakable it makes an amazing weapon especially for powerleveling.

It seems to me that all those items are pretty nice, not necessarily as powerfull as other items readily available in the game, but they add new options (e.g potentially unbreakable knight sword -and note that some 50 knights don;t have tsus-, good bow/sword for elf, and 100 more mps might help low wis mages), and the quest is worth the challenge even if only for the sake of ending balrog:P. As people get higher levels, it seems they start using more diverse weapons/ items to adapt to all environments and situations.

Anyways, i doubt that many will get those, unless princes can go on the quest more than once and are willing to risk deaths many times to end balrog.
Few princes are 50 and I doubt that many will reach this goal. Those who have or are about to do so have been around for a long time and have great pledges supporting them, in hunts as well as when they feel like giving up. Those pledges and some of their 50+ members will get the quest done.

In the meantime, I'll wait to see what those items really are, many changes might come untill they go on live servers

P.S.: By the way isn;t base damage on bows not included in calculations unless u use them as bashing weapons?
