Aden Siege Questions
After the first Aden Siege, a lot of questions were brought up about how it worked, so I posed them to NC Support. Just got their answers yesterday, so I thought I'd share:

Q: If your pledge does not declare on Ken Rauhel, do you inflict any damage on him?
A pledge must declare war before they can damage Ken Rauhel.

Q: Is the person who is announced as the winner of Aden siege the person who hit him last? The person who hit him most? Or just a representative of the pledge that inflicted the most damage on him?
The winning pledge is selected from among the pledges doing the most damage to the Pretender King; the person who is announced as the winner will be a representative from one of these pledges.

Q: Are the full Cerenis and Ken Rauhel set in game?
Our apologies, but we cannot speculate on the Cerenis and Ken Rauhel sets at this time. The information we have available for release has been published to the web site.

Please be advised that the Support team does not generally provide information about whether a specific item is currently in the game or if a particular monster is spawning. This is because we feel that our customers should feel a sense of accomplishment and community to find this information out amongst themselves.

Note: On some occasions we may post information to our News section about items or spawn changes depending on their impact to the game. If you have a question regarding a change in the game, this News section is always a good place to check first.

So there you have it. Please keep the info about the Ken and Cerenis sets coming. -amer

According to the Lineage.com website, the helms of the sets are not in the game. I wonder how accurate that is...

Ummmm...the answer to the second question is just as vague and nebulous as it was the first time they talked about it in the publish info. In fact, both answers to the first two questions are nearly identical to that first press release with Aden siege info. BAH! Thanks for nothing NC.

Why have a "Set" if the whole set isn't going to be in the game unless it's the same thing that happens with the really high level mage spells and they decided "whoops we designed something that is too powerful for players to actually use, so we'll just tease them by telling them all about it but not letting them have it."

Just another example of NC staff being extremely out of touch with the people and their poor sense of customer service and their "secret police" mentality to have arbitrary rules, arbitrary ways of enforcing those rules, arbitrary release of information and no accountability. I would not like to see a schedule of spawning times as it would make for uneven play, but to tell us if an item is in the game or not, or who drops it would not deprive us of a sense of community. Who is their social worker and why is he/she so out of touch?

That means people were right about WK not doing the damage, it just beeing one of the pledge that did most damage, probally together with DD and BLOODRAGE.

I'm not even american, never studed english and i can understand this:

"The winning pledge is selected FROM AMONG the pledgeS doing the most damage to the Pretender King"

So from all pledges doing decent damage to Ken, the system pick one as winner, not THE ONE WHO did most damage.

umm.....I dont think you did understand it.

It says the winning pledge is selected from among the pledges doing the most damage, not the person but the pledge. Why cant you people accept the fact we did most damage.

"The winning pledge is selected FROM AMONG the pledges doing the most damage to the Pretender King"

Umm read that again Asland...

"from among the pledgeS" <--- see the "S"? Plural, meaning from among the 2-3 pledges that did most damage. DD could have done the same amount of damage and just not have been picked by the system or whatever... in any case... who cares? WK's don't even have Aden anymore since it's a "worthless castle".

read it like this ppl -.-

"1)The winning pledge is selected from among the pledges doing the most damage to the Pretender King."

2)"The person who is announced as the winner will be a representative from one of these pledges."

i think someone already said it right.

1) out of all the pledges that declare, the pledge that does the most damage to KEN will take the castle.

2) the person in the pledge that takes the castle will be announced on global.

was it that hard? o.O

Finally some helpful answeres.

However the problem now stands is the pledge with most str death knight characters basically wins the war... sad but true, on dep server the competition lays between SOL and POL.

If pledge does not declare on Ken Rauhel it wont inflict damage, makes him more stronger, that means its better :)

Ken Rauhel Rules !!!! (Not the server - server sucks, monster rules)
