LoA items coming soon
CaptSturm detailed the current plan for the new Royal Armor sets coming to LoA server on the next publish. Here's a breakdown.

Sayha's Set

  • Sayha's Breast Plate
    • Requires: Engraved Breast Plate, 200 Diamonds, 10 High Quality Diamonds
    • Stats:Prince[ss] only, level 30+, AC -5, Weight 250
  • Sayha's Visor
    • Requires: Engraved Visor, 80 Diamonds, 10 High Quality Diamonds
    • Stats:Prince[ss] only, level 30+, AC -3, Weight 30
  • Diamond Amulet
    • Requires: Amulet, 20 Diamonds, 1 Highest Quality Diamond
    • Stats:Prince[ss] only, level 40+, AC 0, Weight 5
  • Set Bonus: Permanent Haste, MR +5%, AC -3, +1 DEX.

Eva's Set

  • Eva's Breast Plate
    • Requires: Engraved Breast Plate, 400 Sapphires, 10 High Quality Sapphires

So to summarize, here is a quick compare of the sets:
Sayha's Set-11 AC, +5% MR, +1 DEX, perma-haste, 285 Weight.
Eva's Set-11 AC, +15 MP, increased MP regen, 315 Weight.
Paagrio's Set-12 AC, +1 STR, increased HP regen, 345 Weight.
Maphr's Set-14 AC, +15 HP, 355 Weight.

Oh, and all sets are maximum enchant to +4 (amulets cannot be enchanted, don't forget).

Not much they can do on dep/ken because they don't control any of the content going there. That's what LoA is for o.O..... you want the stuff, play LoA

Princes own on LoA (Sorry Marak) T.T..but there ac better plus they are only ones who can use Hom's hehe...get a high lvl prince with good ac str up...polymorph to Spartio and pump a Prince Bravery pot and u can beat a knight. All they need now is a good sword -> Royal Sword of Paagrio +1 Str 15/9 Dmg 1 handed.

This would be very bad for other servers. Prince/ss is weak for a reason, and NCSoft in the U.S. doesn't really seem to know this. If everyone wanted to be a Prince/ss, there would be far too many Pledges with few too members amongst them.

I wondered what would be worth a tqd for the amulet. +1 DEX and perma-haste will indeed be worth it, as it replaces both the Skeleton Boots and a DEX amulet. The emerald set doesn;t look so hot though.

heh yea.. its cool that they made that and all but prince brave makes a prince with haste/brave faster than a knight, so all i say is they better be giving knights something good real fast cuz with the prince items already (sovereigns cloak) a paagrio set, a good sword, and the hom's princes would own knights lol

I don't think this makes Prince/ess stronger than a Knight, but it certainly makes them a viable player now, imho. Leveling a Prince/ess is hard enough with the best weapon being a Bkat or a Hunter's Bow. I'm still trying to figure out why every class but a Prince/ess can use an ES... At least we aren't wimps anymore - someone will have to actually put forth a little effort to kill us.

Overall, this update looks to be the best for the Royal class. I agree that getting those gems is going to be a bit of a nightmare... hehe, now I wish I didn't sell them all in Aden. Sayha's seems nice with the Dex bonus and perm haste. And it makes sense that Maphr's has no stat bonus because of all the AC. Enchanted, that set is safe at -22. I might just have to make a couple sets - LOL!

I think this could tide the Royals over for quite some time. Next update should definitely be a weapon!

Looks Good..i understand where they get the helm and breast plate but where do they get an amulet? does it mean likea char ammy or str ammy? if so thats one very expensive set

i agree with you in anything but lineage o.o see, there is no system to make a prince, ANYONE can be one...if princes were strongest knights would b eliminated, although, if knights could turn into princes, who were the strongest...it would b better...like some sort of voting system o.o oooh nc should think about that for loa sounds cool 2 me o.o

i agree with -orim-. Paagrio's set is the best, unless perma haste is really what you are looking for. greens are cheap imo so i wouldnt really go for it. Paagrio's set has second best AC, +1 str means you carry more and hurt more, AND faster HP regen. that whoops ass.

Sure greens are cheap.. but try multiplying 150/5min by 500 hours (which is my guess on how long it might take to get to 52 from 49). That's nearly a million adena. And who says a player will stop playing there?

lol knights are complaining! again. knights, quit yer yapping because, for once, your not the strongest players. u guys have been the strongest, fastest, richest, and luckiest of all the classes, for a looong time. look at dep, we have like 40+, 50+ knights. maybe 10-15 of all the other classes? yet when the royals or another class gets some new stuff and the knights dont, you start complaining. so self-centered and greedy. makes me sick.

btw, i think paagrio's and maphr's sets will be most common because they are pretty much better than the others(personal preference) but factually, they are the easiest to get. u can get tqr and tqe in ant caves for the amulets but you'll have to hunt harder for the tqd and tqs. i could be wrong tho.

I am glad for all the Princesses and Princes on LoA. I hope you all have fun and success making the set you desire. I must admit though, that I am some what disappointed. The impression I get is that these items will not be coming to Dep/Ken? I hope that is not so but hey, I am an Elf so it does not really have any influence on the way I will play! But I think that it might be beneficial for the players that have Royals on Dep/Ken if a similar update for Prince/ss arrives!
Sayha's huh? That is quite funny seeing as there is a Sayha's Bow, which only Elves can weild!:p

#34 thats under the impression you don't obtain a single green during the entire hunt and have to pay for every one. if you are hunting in fv that means taur, astagio, fire warrior, and dragonfly will drop green and ghaste. on dep i come back with at least 45 mins of total green time in pot drops, and i hunt on half-hour intervals.
