Korean Test Server: New Changes noted

With the most recent publish to the Korean Test server, players have been noticing some interesting new behaviors in the monsters.

We mentioned a new attack being added to the Giants. Initially we thought it was something like the 3-cell attack of the Ogre, but in fact it turns out that they mean "ranged" attack (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051004&kid=3654). In other words, Giants hurl stones at you now. Below, one of the stones is marked with a box, as it heads for the elf's head. They appear to inflict about 50HP damage on average.
Another new addition (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051004&kid=3657) is that all monsters (except Nightmare) can now see through SOSC in the Tower of Insolence. Ouch.
Finally, players have been under the impression that the bosses are harder. They specifically referred to an increased strength of Demon and Phoenix.

There was close to no point in hunting giants before now it has gone away completely. Whats point of making close to all mops see sosc not like toi was hard before.

It was really needed...

I was geting tons of money while lving up very fast at those giants...

And TOI, man, if they didnt that, the storage dwarf would get heavy from so many b scrolls and lich cloacks i got there...

Well the giant area is now sick...

It was kind of a fun place to hunt with a couple of elves amid the ridiculous spawn that's there...

You can't use pets as they DK heavily, and now you will be pelted by 20 stones from the 20 giants you are usually running from.

All this 30 adena? If you are going to make this extremly challenging at least up the drops now...

As for TOI... Ouch... Very very ouch...

great what in the world are they thinking over there, giants are bad enough as it is. they dont drop anything at all. sosc is what made toi possible to hunt there if u did it right.

only way to redeem that update there is a huge increase of drops on the mops or lessen the dmg to acceptable lvls. shouldnt they realize by now that aden right now sucks. the xp is not good all the drops are terrible. a example of the terrible drops a summon mage and a elf hunted giants for a hour and all we got was 8k total. we barely used pots and the summons didnt die either but 8k is just plain terrible

They did increase ADEN monster drops on the Korean servers..... it was posted before the annonced the lvl 45 quest

Giants throw rocks cool ^_^ they were to easy before

a large group of dancing swords can wipe out your entire party in seconds
if they r going to make mops see sosc

For the love of god nc, make aden worthwhile to hunt!!! places like dv dvc fv are too crowded. At least make it so u can hunt and make cash to pay for hunt and maybe a little profit. Greens, braves, poly scrolls, etc... need to be common place drops. its the little things that make a hunt profitable. expand lineage the right way and dont screw your loyal paying customers that want fun new places to hunt and still make a little profit.

Every players in Korea is like lvl 100+ or something thats why NC makes everything harder.
I've been hunting Giants this whole week, great exp with just one dog, had to random tele once in a while cuz they do turn on dog. Made absolutely no money
but I dun mind cuz I was after exp only. I use no pots cuz I dont get close
enough for giants to hit me. But now they gonna hurl rocks at us and each rock
does 50 damage on average, thats one whole orange. So we gonna spend about 10 oranges to kill one Giant and then get about 50 adenas back. If anyone run into a pack of 7 or 8 Giants, thats 7 or 8 rocks at ur ass, a total damage of about 400hp, basically instant death. If giants dont start dropping atleast 1k adenas each, no one would consider hunting them. Like I said before NC are a bunch ***kin Morons...parden my french.
Back to the overly crowded FV and DV then I guess.

when they say how much damnage they do is that with no ac??

cause there have been alot of things that have been said and it seems to have been weaker on the us server or atleast with ac it was

giants drops suck...if only they could drop a little more then i wouldnt have a problem w/ the flying rock idea
