Dark Elven Magic
We translated the Korean Test server Magic Help descriptions and put them in the Magic Guide. Boy was that a mess! I'll have to make updates to the regular magic later, but for now, you can check out the Dark Elf magic requirements and some better descriptions.

We're still not clear on the item creation process for Dark Elves.

Great that Blind Hiding is nothing compared to Invisibility Spell or COI, but it's expected seeing that's it can be learned at lvl 15. Still somewhat useful hiding from people o.O

one thing I dun get.. Final burn, costs u all your mana basically.. but how much mana do u need to have to cast it?
say for instance I have 200mp.. I cast finalburn and end up with 1mp.. how much mana do I need to regen before I can cast it again?
would be pretty uber if u can cast it with just 2mp.. then back 1, regen 1 mp cast again.. seems alil to good for imho..

My theory is it does the damage of your (hp - 1) + (mp - 1) at the time of casting (or some variation). That is why you are left with 1 hp/mp after casting. So, the more hp/mp you have when you cast it the more damage it will do to the target, thus the critical damage part.

Party a DE with a lvl 50+ water elf or lvl 40+ mage that will heal the DE after casting would be the ultimate PK team. Have the mage/elf hide in COI, have the DE cast final burn and armor break on a DK, the elf/mage casts cancel on the DK, and the DE goes in swinging with his/her stronger weapons and end/venz the knight in minimal time.

I have this funny feeling that people will make 18 dex 16 str DE's and some will make con DE's. It seems that the better stat type will be the 18 dex 16 str DE. Especially with the weapons available to the DE class.

#1, that's a great idea. Find the stairs, wait there, and kill everyone you see. This way, you can get their DE weapons and use them on your own. ;)

Venom resist is great, Heine with no cures or twigs. Extra weight freed up.

I want paralyze immune for beholders and freeze immune for basi and cockatrice O_O

0,0 so if final burn after casting it leaves you with 1 hp and 1mp that means if you get hit with 1 arrow your dead? 0,0??????
Heh if this is true than this a dumb spell. can't use it against any elf

It says critical damage, which means it kills the person. It's the spell I've been begging for mages to have forever. I'm sure it'll have a range of 1 and probably a cast delay so you don't just let it go at any time. What I want to know about is MP and HP regen, 'cause DE's have no heal spells and no b2s-ish spell. It looks like they're gonna replace the Knights.

their hp/mp regen is based on their con/wis...
Hp regen wont be high, even with 15 con. mainly because their raw con is 8. i think each classes regen rate/level up hp gained INTERVALS(per level) are based on their raw con. that must sound confusing.

Basically waht im saying is. and 18 con knight has more hp than an 18 con elf. why? Because a Knights raw con is 14. an elf is 12. so naturally they will have more hp than a 18 con elf. DE base con is 8. so their hp/mp gain per level/regen rate will not be as high as the other classes. Granted, a 15 con DE will have more hp/better regen than an 8 con DE, but will not be the same as if you had 15 con in a Knight (i dont know why you would have 15 con in a knight, but its just an example).

Really, waht im saying is, dont go hoping that DE has uber regen rates/high hp level ups. obviously they dont. They arent meant for hp. Hit 'em hard is their goal. DE wont be a godly class, it will have lots of advantages and then that one MAJOR drawback in the hp department which most people seem to forget about..... DE will be fun, but after you die to elmore soldiers a few times, youll be inclined to go back to your level 49 con knight with 650 hp and uber items

omg, armor break! Damn, all classes will die if they get this casted on during a siege =.=. Imagine a DK hitting someone and a DE armor breaks the DK, the DK dies due to no armor =.=

I wonder if U can use shadow armor and earth/iron skin at the same time. Should be able to. Since DE will have such poor AC. Gonna be a race to be the fist lvl45 DE!! =)

Thumbs down.. I was hoping their coi spell would let them move about unseen.

In fun factor (ie ease of use without alot to complain about balance wise) i rate this class a 2. Elf gets a 5. Mages get a 4. Knights a 3 and prince a 1. Without this spell it just diminished their stealth killing ability. No cheap coi = no easy kills. You cant surprise your prey without it since you cant move about and someone just stand next to you and regen up before detecting and beating the heck out of ya.

It will be a pot licking str/dex elf without any of their strs except better swords.

Their bows suxors yet with lvl req so that means they cant use x-bows either.

mmm.... seems like all their magic are agaist knight lol
if success, armor break will kill knight
now they walk faster and with haste and spell (lvl 2) i suppose + elven waffler too? SUPER fast =P
one bad thing is... they die too fast lol low hp with great damages/speed/dodge
i wonder what poison do =P
the best of all, before you die, can alwayz use Final burn ^^; IF it's useful
