Hoax E-mails
Information for all players regarding hoax e-mails claiming to be from NCsoft/NCinteractive.

We have received reports of hoax e-mails being distributed with a faked return e-mail address of support@ncinteractive.com which request account information, including account passwords, for verification/investigative purposes. If you receive any suspicious e-mail communications purporting to be from NCsoft or NCinteractive and you have not contacted us using the Support site or by e-mailing us directly, please forward that e-mail to us through the Customer Support tool rather than answering the e-mail directly. If the e-mail in question is not from NCsoft or NCinteractive, we will inform you as such and take steps to prevent any further fraudulent e-mails.

Please treat any e-mail attachments you may receive with caution; a number of computer viruses and Trojan programs are transmitted via this method. As a general practice, NCsoft/NCinteractive does not send out e-mail attachments.

If you are asked for your account login information (login and password) via e-mail, do not provide that information. NCsoft/NCinteractive will never ask you for your password information.

Please review our Security FAQ for information on how you can further ensure the security of your Lineage account.

Don't tell me people still fall for that one.
They were doing that on PCLink over 10 years ago!!

Some people are just jerks, I guess. Why is it
so many people play Lineage just to make people
miserable?
