actually i didn't know it was possible to damage armor... long ago people use to say slimes could erode armor but i don't think it ever happened... wonder if whetstone works on armor o.o

Ok - Armor Break is a kewl idea. Soft AC will be a bit more balanced now - I can just see it:
"What's that? I apparently can't wear the same armor correctly? Fine ? ba-bye!"

I personally am not a fan of WB when it happens to me, or others, and I think it is a bit cheap to use sometimes, but it is still an effective spell and has merit. Armor Break (if that is indeed what it is) will be an interesting addition.

havent you guys noticed that the items look sort of like that way when u drop them on the ground? 0.o;
Maybe the inventory sprites arent done yet. t.t

Why do some of those double swords look like they're all flacid? o.o;

The thing between the glove and the boot looks like a belt.

The Epidode Man looks like a woman and the woman looks like a man. Dark Elves tranvestites!! O.O

Armor Break looks sweet... but why another explosion? Isnt Sunburst useless enough? -.-;

Oh, yeah, i think those double swords act as a single item... so that means you dont have to dai them separatedly. But that also means if one sucks, the otehr one will too. o.o;

This first row of things look like Katars in diablo II for the Assassin class, maybe that will be one of the DE's main weapons??? And Armor Break looks like the same kinda graphic for Decay Potion hehe, and explosion kinda looks like it could be Magical Mine. This looks like its gonna be a cool episode. =)

hmmmmmm Diablo 2 comes to mind when i think of these...... Claws... lol... Heaven forbid they use the word "Katar".
Are those elemental Crossbows?
Armor break+weaponbreak+dk pot = enddai
Shurikens sound very panzy, and if the animation for the throwing of a shuriken looks like what i think it will look like, the person who uses them gets a good punch in the face (no guarantee it will look like what i think tho).
And DE hp is gonna sux balls, so unless double swords are 30/30, the DE will be pointless, cuz 2 whacks from a +9tsu will kill a level 45 DE haha
Maybe DE will be auto-wafered, which would be pretty cool.
But dont rule out it being called Asassin.... so its "original"(notice the missing s). If its ninja, that would be EXTREMELY stupid...... look at the classes we have now.. where the hell would a ninja fit?????? Prince/ss... Elf.... Knight... Mage.... NINJA!!
They might as well throught in a marine class.... really...

Chances are it might not be a DE mainly because, if it was a DE wouldn't more of Bow type weapon's be introduced?? at the moment these are close combat weapons like the claw and double swords.

I think its a collar all right, but its a collar for all males who are married. Its called the "collar of truth". everytime your in game wife asks you where you been, you cannot lie and say Fire Valley, cause the collar zaps you until you admit you were down in DVC 6f hunting succ queens again.

I think the new class is will be maybe a cross of bandit/assassin/thief if that's possible. I don't see a purprose of making a dark elf class unless they develop a storyline supporting the current dark elf in the game. It's intriguing for sure.

another reason i doubt it is going to be a dark elf is it would interupt the storyline if a new race pops up out of no where, also NC doesnt make classes according to race(other then elf, but they could have put archer) look at knight wizard and prince! they are all humans!

90% sure that it's dark elves and the other 10% is assassins/theif which is basically like dark elves. If u read some of Forgotten Realms books and D&D you will know that drow use twin weapons, mostly swords. They use light crossbows with posion dipped arrows. Drow are basically assassins and theives. Drow are very good at stealth, uses agility instead of strength and they are very fragile. theives/assassins are basically the same thing. they use stealth, they rely on agility, quick attacks that do alot of damage(usually 1st and last hit) but they are weak and hurt easy. dark elves are the race but the class is either assassins/theives with the claws or twin sword fighters. just like normal elves in lineage, they are the race elves but their class is basically archers and some are swordies so they just call it elves.

So im guessing that you can either be two different kind of dark elves like normal elves, dual weild or use claws(though i rather use katars).

none of you know what your talking about... its a GOD class. You become a god with 100000hp and 2000000mp witha regen rate of 500 every 4 seconds..... ok ok i just wanted to sound as stupid as some people who think they are 100% sure they know what it is. I dont care who you are no one KNOWS what it is except ppl who work for NC. Id really like to think its a dark elf class too. but think about it this way. If it is a dark elf class. Doesnt it make level 52 poly for archer elves pointless now. "when i reach level 52 im gonna let my dark elf poly into a dark elf" just really doesnt work out? anyways it seems all arrows point that way though even that i hope its not. And 2 more things. For those that say its a ninja... off with there heads and feed um to the kobolds... and to the guy with the amulet of Truth and the succubus comment. That was pretty damn funny. Spit my drink on my keyboard, Now you owe me 20 bucks for a new one ^^

Really, who cares what the class is called? Obviously it uses claws, double swords and throwing stars (though that might be for everyone). It's got high dex, low con. Done. I don't give a flying steamer whether it's called "Assassin," "theif," "Dark Elf" or "Insane Clown Posse Groupie" we know what it does.

I'm pretty sure dark elf won't be able to use elven magic
well
the same magic as elves use now

will probably be all harmful spells
an all out attack class

Like someone said earlier that would make no sence since Dark elf is a lvl 52 morph.

Um... There IS going to be a DE in lineage 2 as a CLASS. NC wants to add them in lineage 1 FIRST all the evidence points to it :) MORON

New class looks like its gonna be really hard to play unless you've got the equip already bought for it o.o Even if ya do, you're gonna have a heck of a time lvling it with 8 con.. but meh, if it is a theif kinda class or something, it better get some sort of invis spell.

With the claws and shuriken items - it certainly appears that they have "borrowed" a bit of stuff from DII - LoD. That having been said, it would appear that the ??? item might be a Circlet (helmet) type item.

New class? Well, again, since they appear to be borrowing from DII - LoD, an Assassin might wear a cape (dark & mysterious type) and so could fit the picture outline we've seen so far.

Yea the dark elves that are monsters look way too different from real drow elves. First off they dont have yellowish hair its pure white. Only a few dark elves ever use real long bows, 95% use light crossbows, which isn't even their real weapon(arrows are posion dipped so just to slow or put them to sleep). Truthfully i dont even know why NC made a dark elf like the ones there are now. So there is no use for dark elves to use teh dark elf morph when they reach lvl 52. I doubt that NC will even let dark elves use normal bows.

I read alot of D&D books...
Btw yes it was Drizzt who had double scimitars. and he is the only one that i know of that can use normal bows :P
