Episode 13 - Mops and NPCs

That second Episode Woman sure looks like a Lineage 2 Dark Elf...

Rumor Mill: We also got an email from someone who wishes to remain nameless that said that the resource files on the Korean Test server also reveal the names of the animations of the new class. Apparently, instead of the standard PC attacks: Sword, Axe, Bow, Spear, Staff, the animations have different names: Sword, Cross Bow, Double Sword, Claw, Dagger, Shuriken. Interesting, if it's true..

very cool nice ^^; BTW Diferent animation to diferent weapon? 0_o more than axe spear and sword, i hope they take in new animations for all classes now, like u can se ur helmet, ur shield etc... but.. well if everybody its spart morph it dosnt matters at all.

the unicorn is the new class ppl will run in a horse shape and gore ppl >_< and have a barbie song to it. but really i feel that the new episode woman and men r the new dark elf classes and the guardian armor looks cool but slow i want it as a pet >_<

Rogues will do a ton of damage, but die in two hits. All these monsters look really "cool". They'll probably walk around and use 1 attack just like everything else in this game.

Unless they make serious changes to the polearms soon, the Unicorn Horn will still suck by the time we get it.

i think these NPC sprites have sumthin 2 do with DE starting loc... well seeing as the women NPC'z seem 2 b in full... umm... lets jus say naughty gear ^^;; and its sed dat DE'z have a less shameful way of life ^^ i can c where their comin frum

o and for dat guy who sed "wow imagine usin 2 anchient swords" i doubt it'll b like dat... probably b a whole new breed of weaponz not jus able 2 equip 2 swordz but a new brand like... "double sword'z" which most likely will b relatively weak by themselves but strong in pair

How about... unicorns would be killable, but you'd lose a *lot* of law for killing them.

Do you reckon Spirit of Fire Boss > Ifrit?

Edit: Or have unicorns as part of a quest, where they have to be kept safe through... <insert idea here>

i think the translation was made wrong. in the korean websites it doesn't say spirit "bosses" they called it "summons" and believe it to be high level summon for elves.

Unicorns were also only able to be seen by the pure of heart/soul as well in some mythos. Think unicorns may be spawned in EF though more than likely since they are mythical creatures just as Elves are which would probably put them as a future quest for elves or something.

If memory serves, #48 is the closest to the pure heart deal - you have to be a virgin to "tame" one or be able to ride it, get close to it, etc. But that is beside the point, the Unicorn is not going to be a mop in the kill it for XP sense, I think. I believe that it is going to be quest related or an NPC of some sort. If you kill one, I would hope NC had the history down to drop yo bum into the Chaotic status in an awful hurry.

The weapon descriptions for the new class smack of an assassin/rogue/sneaky-sneak to me. I am completely in drool mode over what EP13 is going to bring. Flying cities, wicked cool spirit bosses, danty ladies that wear almost something.... yea!

How long will this take to come to US!? I am impatient... hehe

those episode npc r dark elf npc s...i still wonder why there is "good" dark elf! dark elf is elf tunrned on evil!i was dark elf when in newb killed a pig!
should be that players fight each others like in pledre wars but as rude race waring like if wed get orc here to charecter orc players and humans would be enemys and elf/delf...is this rasistic?but i hate to c fatnasy world changed "nice litle dark elf"what were they on teraphy and they r ex daasrk elves that try to make improvement!...err...

Whoever said NC is most creative with variety yadda yadda yadda, i think thats true, in a sence. But you have to admit, adding different versions of the same mop is kinda lame. for example: Black Knight, escaped Black Knight. and now: Fire Egg, SCARY Fire Egg.... thats not top of the creativity scale to me o.o
still, they do have alot of hunt areas and lots of mop variety/bosses... but stilll... SCARY fire egg.... lol

Don't get your hopes up about that mythology part, if NC cared about Legends or history or anything like that, than the basilisks wouldn't look like what they do, or the cerberus wouldn't be like they are, ect.ect.
