6/14 - Korean Test Server publish announcement
Lineage - Korea announces (https://bbs.lineage.co.kr/lineage/new_announcement/pre_lineage/read.asp?ListNum=117&NoticeID=2&PageNum=1) the following updates being published to the Korean Test server on 6/14:
  1. Pledges that do not have an emblem cannot declare a siege.
  2. If player A hits player B in a Combat Zone and player B hits back, a duel is automatically initiated.

What happens when you "lose" a duel, eg by venzing? If a stronger player attacks, the weaker still has to either fight back or venz - before, venzing was just a way of getting out. Now, you'd lose the duel.

And with sieges, you'd have multiple duels at a time, especially with area attack mages...

i don't care for the new combat zone / duel function. the whole purpose of combat zones has been to be able to duel without losing exp. :/ not a good update. especially not for fi hunters.

this update will also bring "true pk" to the ken server.

So if I don't fight back on FI and just die I don't lose xp the same right?
I like the no seige without logo thing, this will keep dishonorable cowards from being unlogo to confuse the enemy.. I do already see a way around it though. Only the prince will need a logo so big deal... with so many duels going on thats just another great reason for seige lag...
On FI you fight back on instinct so I hope they make this not apply there. Just one more time US servers get hosed because NC Korea could give a shit what we feel...

OH MY GOD! Of all the dumb ideas NC gets, this one is the WORSE!!
What brain dead idiot came up with auto-duel idea?!! Though as with other brain dead ideas, NC will probably supply a totally lame excuse for why it should in there.
How can a company produce such a great game, but still manage to be so retarted sometimes?!
Are they trying to drive away customers? Dueling (WITHOUT penalty!) is one the favorite aspects of the game.
For the love of god NC, do NOT put this change on the live servers!!!

isn't there a small chance you drop when losing a duel? If so, does it still count if full law/combat zone? If there is, auto-duel would just be stupid. Sure it would stop fishers, but, it would ruin fun fighting in combat areas. TI arena would suck. Most people fight there, and when weakened enough leave it. Now you're just gonna have to venz or die.
