Episode 12 Changes

Late-breaking issues with Episode 12: Aden have caused the publish to be slightly adjusted. The level 45 Prince quest (and thus the Alliance system) will not be activated with the publish on Wednesday, February 19th. We are currently working to resolve this issue and will post additional information as soon as possible.

Im waiting...

The system that the young apprentice padawan learners cant participate in the @pledge chat is so wrong, no prince will chose this option for any of his members. Since the thought with a pledge is based on to trust each other and communicate with ur new recruits.

Good the system was a lilttle messed up anyways. Why would any real prince want to give up all his rights as a prince just so another prince could have more members.

Ok this is stupid!

Did this not all publish on Korean test servers and then their Live servers?
And then, didnt this also publish to our test server?
And they are just realizing this stuff now?
What is the point of test server?
Who is in charge of quality control at NCI?
Do they even know what this is?
Has the pope confirmed the miracle in Miracle Whip?

Since Lineage2 will be overlooking the Mac community, I am moving to greener pastures come the end of march. Shadowbane will be out, and it puts lineage to shame, both in game play and graphics.

NC has been upsetting too many faithful, long term customers. People dont like playing in a puppet society-type game. With at least 2 huge new MMORPG's on the Horizon, Lineage in the U.S. is gonna be in huge trouble. I personally am grabbing a life preserver now.

What the heck is wrong with NC on this episode. Ep 12 was supposed to have that trading system, marriage, and alliances. So far all we are getting is a new set of hunting areas, they just took out everything special about this episode!

the alliance thing is good if you have 1 pledge a a bunch of sub pledges

that way if you seige you can get like 3-4 other prince(ss) trying to get the tower with you and since your an alliance it all works out so the alliance is good if you have sub pledges so you can seige with more then 1 prince(ss) and have bigger pledge hunts with more prince(ss) means bigger exp bonus

I hope they delay the first Aden Castle siege until after they fix the alliance problem, since alliances will be crucial to that large a siege. One real question is whether or not subprinces in an alliance can grab the crown if the tower is destroyed, or just the alliance prince. There needs to be at least one subprince for there to be an alliance prince.

To test the translation of Korean to English.

QC department.

Yes, unless you would prefer that the quest work only in Korean and that people who speak Korean would have the advantage of alliances over people who speak English.

If you are referring to the first siege (i.e. trying to defeat Ken Rahuel), it has nothing to do with a crown. From what I have read, no one can do damage to Ken unless your prince has declared siege against him. Then, IF Ken dies, whichever pledge did the most damage to him is the one that will gain control of the castle.

That's my understanding at least, from all I have read.

1-45 in two weeks as a princess just so I could do this quest and this is what I get, and I made one of my knights do 42-45 in 24 hours so he could die for me, oh well

omg and now the servers so down...people arent smart enough to download the file from test before live server update. whats next a roll back? lol...im about ready to just quit lineage for a week. play some counter strike or something =p.

Alliance is good to: let 1 prince join with all his members.. Then leave and all members join the old pledge again...

Then another prince returns the favor, and voila... 2 alliances with only 1 prince in it and 6x more members.

yep something happened to loa. the koreans and americans were fighting over who was better. so the koreans wripped the american server apart and said we get no alliance system cause we dont speak korean. and of course korean language is the best according to them ^^. lol...just a thought =p

because i cant get on irc.... amer to let u know the balrog is now named... Valok ... u should check the lineage site with the new monsters it gives a few items, that can be dropped by diff mops, u may or may not have listed but i was on their site lookin at all the new creatures to see waht kinds of things they drop that was not listed yet

amer: you might wanna post this~

IF your an elf~ the server thinks you have no element~ so go to the element choosing place and select a second element.. then learn what spells that element provides. So you can be any 2 elements, I have earth + water and wind + earth. Don't attempt to get greedy and go for a thrid (which I did with one) you will lose all and have only 1 like the old days. This is only good cause the server thinks you have no element right now~ so take advantage of it elves!

uhh....yea, they'd better fix that elf thing....

I'm gonna use my princess that i don't play a whole lot to join the pledge my knight is in so we can be bigger :) she'll just be used as a dummy royal. I dunno, i might even play her for real and lvl her up, for some reason i just like the playstyle of the prince....she's 18con, and honestly, i don't see a huge difference between her and my elf, and if i can get a dex ammy, along with the dex bow, dex spell, and soveriegns cloak she'll have 18dex......hmm...that and she has more hp, can carry more, could use good spells like STR and DEX at like lvl 5 instead of lvl 32 and 48(and alot of them at that cuz of mediocre mp and half cost spells)...but doesnt have the damage bonus, or cool elf magic....mehh...ah well. knight or elf is still better overall i think.

this update sux. First of all i get all ready to hunt giants and doppl and find out that summon dotn work. After wasting like 8 gems some1 tells me i gota redeclare my line. So in doppl forest alone jumped by new doppls and ww packs i tele home... and end up in gludin. Then i make my way back to aden and go to gypsy town area. See bunch of giants... and they drop me 40a. so i turned that crap off

i'd rather have this update than no update...personally i think it's really cool(with the exceptions of oj's costing 200a now). but i guess ppl are always gonna complain.

Who cares? The test server will be wiped eventually and that's that. Don't get attached. If all these features work on the Korean servers, I don't see why they have problems here...It seems like everything I was looking forward to has encountered problems. Why do I feel like it's going to take more than a week for this to be fixed? I'm also concerned about the Marriage and Trading aspects of the game since it seems very possible that they could just be dropped at any time, like so many other things gone wrong in Lineage. You'll notice the animal tournaments have been out of commission for about 2 years now, and whatever happened to all the death matches that were reported? Wasn't there supposed to be about 15 of them? And what happened to renting out the Giran Colliseum?

The Alliance is nice for Princes like me who use a Prince as a main, but would rather join another pledge rather than make their own.

Most of you who want to stick with Lineage right now will probably end up going to Lineage II anyways, once it's finished. It will offer so much more than this. Not to mention that when everyone leaves for Lineage II, barely anyone will play Lineage. There will probably be about 80 people on at all times. I think Lineage II will see a lot of success in the U.S. that Lineage did not.
