Episode 13, names and maps

Nue and chizuna.com have a couple of new discoveries to report on the files being uploaded to the Korean Test server.

Nue provides some more animations on the monsters (http://myweb.hinet.net/home2/alks/lin/epsg.htm) as well as the names Zenith Queen (for the insect woman) and Zombie King (for the large brown creature posted). He also refers to a "Killer Bee" which we have not seen yet.

chizuna.com also has maps of the uploaded to Korean Test(but not implemented) floors 11 through 50 of the Tower of Insolence: http://chizuna.com/ToI.php

Finally, Nue makes a reference to some items: Ring of Zenith, Teleport Scroll (41f Tower of Insolence), Teleport Scroll (31f Tower of Insolence), Teleport Rune (11f Tower of Insolence), Teleport Rune (21f Tower of Insolence), Teleport Rune (31f Tower of Insolence), Teleport Rune (41f Tower of Insolence).

No more details (or pictures) are available yet..

teleport runes? are those like something that you can reuse? like when you have it in your inventory with a ROTC, you can tele right there maybe?

That seer looks pretty intense... Also, the Zenith Queen looks like she can slow everyone with those webs of her's. These new mops are just plain intense and I am very excited to see them in play.

EDIT: Ok - the Diamond Golems shatters. How many diamonds does he drop? It is not a matter of "IF", but how many, because he is a golem made of Diamond. I personally think the iron golems should always drop a ton of iron when you kill them cuz they are made of Iron. If Diamond Golems only drop like 1-2 diamonds everytime you kill them, I will be only minimumly satisfied in that it at least drops diamonds. However, with that animation of death, there should be dozens of diamonds on the floor for one to pick up.

... some of the names of the new mops sound alot like nubi mops on Singing Island or Hidden Valley ... could it be that some (probably not all) of the upper TOI floors (11 and above) are gonna be nubi areas for the new, supposedly "dark", race? maybe they level in the tower like elves do in the elven forest? what better place to begin your life as a "dark" character? maybe you cannot get from toi10 to toi11 ... and the mops above TOI floor10 are actually easy? and those runes? maybe the new race gets to learn those runes which then allows the caster to tele to higher floors of the tower (increasing w/ level of the char ... kinda like elven spell crystal "tele to mommy tree") with harder mops ... and those tele to toi floor30/40 scrolls? well, those are probably drops so that other races can hunt there too ... just like tele to 5floor toi scrolls ... in other words: toi floors 11-30: "new" race only (possibly including leveling floors), toi floors 31 and above: access for all races (harder mops)

Zenith Queen looks hot... About the Diamond Golem drops (tamashii's response) I think it is purely random. Sorta how skeletons don't always drop bones and/or skulls and how griffins don't always drops feathers (gold or not). I would imagine, though, that the drop rate for diamonds on the DG's is gonna be higher than say vs. basi. Secondly, you must realize that you're hitting this thing with a sword or a bow or whatever... obviously it won't fragment down to nice little pieces which would be defined as diamonds. I think the diamonds in the game (which are sold and all) are flawless and usually don't have a high refractivity (how the light bounces around in there.. I'm sure there's another word) value. Now, let us say this: If the diamond golem is craAaAzzzzzzzy strong then, yes, it should have a higher drop rate; diamonds and high quality diamonds would probably drop 1-4 as commons, while TQD's should fall 1-2 as rare. I'll shut up now, though.... but I still think the Zenith chick is hot.

so for the next few updates its not gonna do much for the normal player? coz all i see is updates for the tower which 0000000.01% of US lineage have been to the 10th floor of it , i was hoping for more of something we can use. or u might understood this update wrong >_<

Still be hard to get to those floors since will run out of pots trying to get to floor 51 lol. Unless nc changes the drop rates in toi not many will bother going to toi.

YAY! Another pointeless and useless update WOOHOO!
Fixed summons lag my butt. Fixed bad tiles (especially the path up FV center past igg west gate) my BUTT! Escape scroll glitch still exists.
Wouldn't it be amazing if we got something useful AND they fixed existing problems? Bleh, I SAY BLEH!
