Episode 13 Mops, Part 1

Looks like the Lineage dev team has started to release the Episode 13 mops to the Korean Test servers. Nue's Lineage (http://myweb.hinet.net/home2/alks/lin/nuelin.htm) has been tracking them as they are uploaded to the distribution (remember, these aren't actually in the game, just the graphics, so far, which Nue has placed in the game background for your enjoyment :).

Has anyone clicked on the link to Nue's Lineage? He's got some other monsters on there, some of which don't have pics but the names sure are interesting... We'll probably soon have ourselves some Crazy Rabbits, Will O Wisps, and Unicorns to smack on in the near future. Anyway, I remember a while back I sorta asked for a vampire and people said it'd be dumb... but look at what happened. We get a vampire that wears a pink cape... >.< They could've atleast made him look a bit more.. I dunno.. scary?

Oh and to forciano, from what I heard ep13 was supposed to be higher rez. That's all I had heard. Additionally it was suppose to have more player character sprites and smoother animations. I'm guessing episode 13 is gonna be one hell of a huge patch.

I'm not sure you can tell with that black background, but the spider thing has the upper body of a woman - like a ramia. Also, the Rave Beholder :) only does disco lights on death and the Vampire has the bats as an attack.

Thats what I was just about to mention Amer about the half lady half spider. I also think that the upper right unnamed monster is a clay golem or something of the sort. Looks like a golem to me but of earth or clay maybe.

[Edit] Would make sense seeing how there is the hardest substance, diagolem and a clay golem would be a soft substance. Diagolem could be really hard to damage and maybe the clay golem would absorb part of the blow due to its soft skin.

Amer can you add the actual pictures that are on Nue's Lineage that way we see the blood coming out of the golem which suggests its either a flesh or blood golem and his pictures also have the bats glowing along with the vampire, but on secound thought the vampire glowing might only happen in the dark or might be an added effect to make the bats easier to see against the black background. At least get the better picture of the golem in its a big difference it seems.

The golem thing probably is undead as amer said. And to those who think that the Diamond Golem may be easier to kill than a basi have you ever thought of the probability that it is much harder to kill? Probably has an AC of -90 or something insane like that with an attack that defies guessing? The thing is made out of d-i-a-m-o-n-d. But the probability of it dropping tqd's is somewhere around the uncommon to rare slots, rather than super rare. Oh, and is the vampire bat attack long distance? And other than the vamp, I second what poochie says.

I just noticed on Nue's site that the diamond golem looks more like a quartz golem. I don't think that diamonds in nature are formed like those spikes that you can see on the pic on Nue's site. Look closely and you'll see what I mean. Unless ofcourse, NC Korea has their own idea for diamonds or something.. I dunno.

Actually the vampire is *NOT* pink. It only turns into pink while using spell (with lots bats).

BTW, first 2 pics were taken by me, not Nue. My original pictures are in:
http://photos.yahoo.com/prebootq (in Lineage NPCs folder)

You can compare the size of diagolem and stonegolem from pic. Also you can see Seer with phy. attack -- Nue's pic is Seer with spell.

NCSoft has changed their plan. Lineage Part II will NOT go into 3D or semi-3D. The 3D engine, however, will go to NCSoft's another game named AION. Lineage Part II will remain 2D with UI upgrade and many changes.

No 3d upgrade. Too many people spoke out agaisnt a 3d lineage. They did say that they would do a graphics upgrade though. Not to 3d but better 2d graphics or something.

They should do a massive 2d graphic overhaul if there will be no 3d lineage. Either way is fine with me but 2d does make Lineage seem more distinct it just needs a resolution upgrade as well as better graphics overall.

not resolution but just make again the old things, like common orc. Common orc its funny and since uve seen it 10000000+ times u acepted it but its pretty ugly done, just make old things again.... dwarf, orc, orc archer etc...
And add the things like when u wear shield u see shield, two handed weapons, armors...I think with that game will be graphically fine

Lookin good. I wonder if they're still gonna do the sky city? I really hope so. We really need some more good hunting spots. Especially seeing how ep12 was an utter disappointment.
Vampire looks kool. Flashes neon pink when he uses his super bat attack! Diamond Golem... Prolly has super AC. Gonna take forever to end. Unless U use your super lvl 50 only unbreakable sword!! Rotting Golem/Giant? Looks dumb. Maybe newb area mop. Spider lady... Hopefully a new boss!!! The Seer looks like he got some glow sticks stuck in his thingys...
I really think it would be kool if NC would make it so U could see what you're wearing. So everyone won't look the freakin same anymore. If I'm wearing red dragon armor and using a b-Tsu it should look like it. That would be soooo nice. Might make the game lag tho with the people who switch their armor/weapon a lot...
NC should have a contest for new mop ideas... Let us the consumers help them think. Seems like they need all the creative help they can get lately...

How do oyu guys extract these images, and i don't mean the TARGA file with CTRL+P. I mean the images with the black bacgrounds. It looks like someone knows the file formats for these characters and what prgram to use to open them. Does anyone know this?

it appears that there is more than just his rave bulbs. It looks as if he hits with the eyes, as well as maybe his large eye--or perhaps that's just him charging the party-lamps up.
