Test Server - Aden Siege 2/17

The first Aden siege is over. Ken Rauhel was victorious... he was never killed. It's probably due to the fact that Cerenis (the correct spelling.. for now) heals him! Fighting Ken Rauhel without killing Cerenis is an exercise in futility.

Here are some screenshots that basically represent what was going on -- Cerenis killing people, Ken Rauhel killing people. ^^

Too many stupid people in that seige. Just kept fighting endlessly with enemies, not even worrying about Cerenis and Ken. People apparently don't realise that if Ken isn't dead when you take over the castle, you are going to get SMOKED!

Screw touching Cerenis with elves... Is there any way to pull Ken away from her because without her heal he is as good as dead (obviously you are getting him down to 40% hp or whatever so she will heal). By the amount of knights I see that are up close to Cerenis I am guessing they were owned... Hopefully you can pull one from the other with elves on Ken and knights dying from whatever that circle spells damage is. My thoughts anyway.

they fixed it to where you cant lure either one away from the other one.the only way to defeat ken is to kill cerenis first IMO

maybe if you send 50 some elves and mages to constantly try blinding Cerenis she'll be like an elder o.O blind= defenseless.. but shes probably got 99.99% mr.. i wanna see a video of a full aden seige, anyone know where i can see one?

It's either gonna end very shortly or will take forever. If one pledge manages to rush through, the siege will end within a minute. But once people begin to pour in, it's gonna take some time.

I hope they knew that they gotta kill kere first... that's not a normal heal. that's a fullheal.

We killed cere very fast it was the elfs who did not play fair they used natures touch on ken it is very unfair

JailRune, I don't know exactly what you are saying, but I think what you are saying is that if one pledge rushes in, breaks the tower, and grabs the crown, then they own the castle. That might work... Until Ken and Cerenis pwn your prince and take the castle back @_@

Just as long as there are always 8 knights around Cerenis, and a bunch of elves shooting the crap out of her, I'm sure she cant be too hard. Just gotta have those knights keep a quick finger on the clears.

Either way, it's obvious Cerenis needs to die before Ken. I wonder if you can rez them? Hehehe~

So then what's the strategy? You guys see that video clip that the GM made? With that many ppls, they can surely end Cerenis and Ken. For those of you who didn't download it, there was a sea of ppls from one screen to the next. When the video clip ran into the castle, you saw TONS of ppls - the entire screen was filled with ppls. Now if a group like that could get together and move from one tower to the next, then Cerenis might very well be endable. It's truly a matter of tactics and teamwork - just like NC wanted it in the first place. Thoughts?

I'm pretty sure they are both quite endable on Dep.
The question is going to be... how much exp is the alliance going to lose when we all just go cancel them as they fight Cerenis and Ken ;)

i came to the seige 15min into it, and there was NO cerenis anywere
but ken didnt die, i also believe that some elf's water'd/healed it and what not though

I don't know if live servers will be able to handle this. Wicked, you talked about teamwork, but the clip the gms made was in Korean servers where THOUSANDS of people are on at same time, and almost everybody was at that siege. What will happen on ken/dep, the 400-450 people gonna try and rush em? realize probably HALF of ken/dep even siege, making it more like 200 people, and then you have to figure many people won't even attend at risk of losing xp, lets say 1/4 people say its a waste of time, were down to about 150. Now honestly, even 150 people going to that siege, do you really think they are going to work together? Look at many of the DMs, people kill each other! People will be hurting Cerenis, but when they think she is almost dead they will kill each other and try to finish her off for the drops!

they are easy to kill, you need to use the same stratagy used on antharas, u need to get like 7mages all with cyclops... and take them to the castle, when she use that spell they will atack her, if she kills them just use res scroll or spell then keep on doing the same thing ^^

Why are we all discouraging elves and mages, You would think its pretty hard to hit -7x ac. Shouldn't we encourage the magic users to rip into them. Although from what I saw Cerenis went down pretty early but people NOT her kept healing Ken. Thats just stupid that people can't get their act together and decide to grief play.

You ppl dunno cause you werent there, Cerenis was ended very quickly in the siege leaving only Ken Rauhel. Yet he managed to succeed. The problem was DK pledge was too busy tryin to fight everyone instead of letting everyone fight ken then they should have took control. Yes there were some ppl healing ken but when you have that many ppl hitting him im sure a water isnt gonna last him long. I think that this first siege was not supposed to be won by anyone, and therefore was impossible. Nc Austin wanted to check out these npcs vs. the US players. Thats why there is a siege again tomorrow.

Well i was there here is the thing :

1) we ended cerenis.
2) Ken never died (people hastet and healed it)
3) people where hitt�ng ken for 1 1/2 hour streight.
4) DK pledge attacked all non allied who where trying to kill ken (stupid)
5) towers (the 4 elemental + final one) could not be broken (ken have to die first right?)

So... thats basicly it
