| Earlier this month (yes, we're behind), I got a note from MagicGod that someone on Dep had made a +10 Staff of Mana. Being that (1) I play mage these days (2) Staff of Mana is not something you can just buy from the store and (3) chances of your +6 item making it to +10 is about 1 in 162, I was quite impressed. :)
Sephilia is her name and over-dai is her game. She wasn't quitting, she just was in the mood. In addition, she wasn't sitting on a +9 SOM for months and months before gathering the courage to make it +10. She had a +9 SOM for one day before using that lucky ndai to get it to +10.
 It doesn't end there. She also made a +9 Long Silver Sword. That was what started this whole thing. She made a +9 SLS using her elf, Crystania, out of her +8 SLS and decided the elf was lucky. Then, she grabbed a fistful of n-dai and got to work.
Of course, the first thing she did was blow the +9 Long Silver Sword. But that didn't stop her! She then proceeded to make a +10 Mail Breaker from her +7 Mail Breaker. That's when she moved on to her Staff of Mana and got it to go to +10 too!
She still had the +10 SOM when I spoke with her a few weeks ago, but she managed to sell the +10 Mail Breaker for 42M adena and 3 b-zels. That's more than enough to replace her +8 SLS :) |
