Spotlight: Fyreblade, BlackHawkx and GreatAjax

It was normal day in Aden. Giran City was filled with desperate merchants, determined to find their wealth. I was sitting around Giran Square when I decided to do another Spotlight. I didn't know whom to choose. There were so many people in Giran that could have been chosen. Only a few moments later, GreatAjax was seen in Baphoment morph chilling in the sunlight. I asked him for an interview and he kindly accepted. We walked to his pledge house for the interview. As I approached the "WestKnight" pledge house, I saw two more Baphoments waiting for me. . . . .

I wanted to try something new. A Three-way interview was the idea I wanted to try out. The interview started with FyreBlade. He hit level 50 on December 16 2002. He is a knight that hunts at Fire Valley Beach and DVC 6th. His AC is -6x. He wields a +8 Tsurugi and a +9 Mail Breaker for boss hunts. I even found out that his nickname is "FireBabe". He told me that Lineage is his 1st MMORPG that he played. He went on the internet seaching for MMORPGs and found Lineage. Besides loving to play lineage, he love to kill Phoenix. (*note* FyreBlade should be level 51 five days after this interview) "Phoenix is love" - FyreBlade & BlackHawkx

The next victim of my questioning, was BlackHawkx. As you can remember from "Ecks" interview, he loves cookies. I found out the common trend for these three knights. They love hunting in Fire Valley. BlackHawkx uses a +9 (Katana & Mailbreaker) and a +6 xbow for casual reasons. I'm surprised his nickname isn't cookies. His friends call him "Mommy" or "Blacky". He got into Lineage from searching from the net too and he used to play Arc.

I saved the intended victim for the end. They call him "Jax", the GreatAjax is another knight (notice the pattern?). He hunts in Fire Valley beach with his -6x ac and collection of weapons: +8 Tsurugi, +7 Mail Breaker and +7 xbow. He started playing Lineage when his Diablo II friend told him about it. Jax's favourite MOP's are Fire Eggs, because of the BZels.

These knight want to give a thanks to all their friends. Some of them include: Pooch, WestGuard, Rincewind4, JanteJr, Codjoca, Zeldor, Camel, Fangar, Cloelia, xYunax, Machismo, Yosshi and All WestKnight members. A special thanks goes to all the elves and mages that helped them.

Word of advice don't be so cocky, for a server where fights happen so rarely, I would expect you all to have all those items since there's really nothing else to do cept hunt T.T how boring. Your ego is way too big while you can't really prove yourself unless you come test/Dep and prove your skillz cuz ken is really easy.

#10's post, tho somewhat arrogant and hostile, has some good points. why spend all that time trying to get DK on ken server? to pwn the mops? o.O I have more respect for the quiet bapho player hunting dvc, or fighting a skirmish at wastelands defending his pledge even tho its 4v1, not bragging about his gear and saying shit to his 'enemies'. Give me a break, its KEN SERVER stfu plz. Lvl to 52 so you can get canceled in your little ken sieges...cuz thats all you got. Game is shit without pvp, and you smell like poo, all three of you.

A lvl 52 knight is stronger than most knights anyways so you have an advantage in a siege, maybe you should be the ones to "stfu". GreatAjax I dont know you that well in fact I dont know any of you that well. But what I do know is that you are a very good person. Though Blacky might be somewhat voitale I still respect him. And FyreBlade....what can I say...you rock.But I for one have played ken and it is worth the time invested. Sure you cant kill the person at the moment your mad but that makes it that much more interesting when you duel them/kick their arse at seige. I say all three of you go for 52 and dont listenn to the dep morons who are to ignorant to realize that Lineage is more than just killing random people(however much fun it is).

Why is money important? don't you make enough on ken since all you do is hunt non-stop? its not like you spend alot fightings since its only 2hrs of running around slashing and running o.o

Please don't talk like you know what your talking about lol your just embarassing yourself. A lvl 52 knight is stronger yes i must admit but 36hp doesn't hold up that much in a fight... YOU wouldn't know that since all that happens to you in seiges is cancel. a DK knight COULD venz just as quick as any other knight in a fight, 3 lvl's doesn't make a whole lot difference. I think your overestimated the abilities of a DK morph. You probably don't know this since there's only like 2 dk knights? how long do you see them last in dk morph? 5 seconds? it shouldn't be long since i would imagine they are the first targets to be cancelled if they were smart. PLease you act all big cuz you have 6x and 8tsu with 10hp more than others. I would congratz you for lvling but its worthless without respect behind it.

Hmm if what you say is true... then why are you here? reading and arguing? why not go back to lvling and making money and let your ego grow bigger? If nobody cares why are you getting upset? Truth is, Dep isn't actually the arogant ones if you believe it or not. Dep's Items compared to Kens i would imagine aren't as great as they are on Ken. Deps items and ac's are avg in 6x yes, but i bet ken server has alot more ppl with greater ac than dep. Reason being? Ken makes more money, they hunt in groups, they CAN'T waste money on fights. Dep on the other hand CAN'T hunt dragons cuz of the politics and fights that interfere.

Dep players really aren't as cocky and full of ourselves as much as ken. ken players will go " well i have 6x and 8tsu what do you have?" to sum1 on dep who has lesser items because they spend more time fighting and using money to help friends defend or whatever the reason is. People over look this fact that items on dep are harder earned than they are on Ken. Items are not the way to prove your stronger neccesarly<-sp?

Oh ghetto with dueling, lets say sumthing steals ur mop, and keeps stealing your mops. what are you going to do? LOL now i have an ego? show me a single statement i made that shows i have an ego or that i think i am better than everyone else...Right now im lvling in bapho morph, u lose a bunch of ac, and thus you lose money. Why do u say i make money lvling? Your the one who has no idea what ur talking about. I have talked to many lvl 52's and they make alot of money lvling in fv, just due to the fact that they kill mops so fast. Another way they make so much money is from bosses. You ever try to get a drop over a 20 str dk with a +9 mb? It aint gonna happen. The only way to compete against that is to get dk urself. You have nothing better to do then flame ppl you dont even know???

to black: like pointed out earlier with your quote ( look for it) what you said is like saying your going to be the strongest cuz you dk and that you can end everyone you want to. Isn't that a sign of cockyness? Isn't it a threat thinkin that your stronger?

anywayz as for your excuse using bapho with 6x ac your ac should still be in low 5x and with your 9 kat you should still be able to make back pot money cuz i've done with without bapho with same items. Your bapho should still kill more mops than ppl in sparts therefore you shouldn't really be losing much money.

I think you've misread my statement about DK and money i never said dk's didnt make more money, what i said was that why do you really wanna make more? ( probably for ac/weap) but yea like i said b4 items on ken are easier to get. So i dunno what you thinking.

Talked to many dk's? there only 10 --;; half of them being knights now (congrats) and yea Another way to make money is to hunt bosses, but you can alwayz find others and CAMP, see on ken is different cuz you can't do anything about it, but on DEP you can fight the 52 dk and even pk him if your lucky and still have enough to take on boss. Since you can't do that on Ken its believed that DK is almost invisible and THIS is where ego's grow. Does it make sense?

Actually know i don't have much else to do right now, i've jus finished school and studied for my exams as well as finished my h/w, you want me to do more? lol assuming i type things for a few minutes doesn't mean i have no life and nothing else to do. lol I also never said i was better than everyone cuz i'll tell you now the best i got to was 49 57ac and 7tsu on dep b4 i quit. You may feel offended by things i said BUT i never did say everything i said was 100% true did i? nope so all the flaming about me being better is all opinion it really doesn't matter to me how you look at me. just switch target to him and he has to venz cause most liekly he wotn be able to take both u and the boss at same time
and then boss all left 2 u ... :D
DK... boss.... its like 5 6 7 mlc Floor...
takes a while after venz to come back (ok fine u use r-tele but still in that time u have to walk back is about enuf time to take the dk down and walla all drops to u...)
see thats why ken has sucky points while dep... U got to have ur lil tactics to do the things u wana do the way u wana do em :P

Most of the Hunts on Dep for bosses are ususly ppl camp and tell thier pledge or friends to come and help out (Some ppl enjoy camping for bosses and still call thier pledge to help them .. we arnt all greedy... well most of us arnt) so that just goes to show that thier is a good thing in all of this

Howcome it's always dep boys who start these stupid server wars? Hmmm, cuz they got nothing better to do I bet, they are getting PK'ed over and over on Dep cuz they are losers there so they go try to make Ken look like a walk in the park.
But as they might have noticed by now in this thread is that not many Ken people even care to respond to their posts...cuz frankly, we don't care what they say or write in one of their stupid "try to defend and make dep look like the best server" posts.

Protocol, can you please answer me what your purpuse with your first post was, other than to flame?
Do you think we're gona switch servers or something? Sorry to make ya disappointed....I can't really think about any other purpuse other than flaming.

Go PK some ppl on Dep, since u don't seem to have anything better to do, my advice is Talking Island since other MATURE and experienced players probably are too hard for you.
Good luck in life, feel free to respond to my post but don't expect me to write anything back. Cuz I don't really care...this post was just to get ya something to think about, if you know how to think like a normal person that is.

lol... i know two of this guys (black and ajax) and they aint a bit ego, ajax borrowed me his 9+mb for a while when i was low lvl (like 20 or something) really helped me there... and ajax i know in the real world and i really know that he aint an ego.

blood you say thats an easy way to kill a lvl 52... have you thinked of one thing? the pledge? whenever i hunt with my elf (in wk) there is atleast 3-4 persons from wk in FV, i doubt you would have time to kill him before backup arrives.

very good done of black and ajax, also fyre even thou i don't know you...

They dont get the point. Dep and ken have totally different strategies. To compete for bosses on dep you have to pk the dk's. On ken you have to become one. I honestly thinking becoming a dk yourself is much more work then trying to pk a dk while he takes hits from a boss, thats a very pussy way to do it in fact. Why did these assholes have to take something im proud of and my friends are proud of me for and try and diminish it?? Only reason i can see is that your jealous and you'll never have a lvl 50 knight no matter what server you play, grow up losers.

So you can't say i got pk'd over and over again which isn't true, nor can you say i pk newbies since there's no one ever on TI anymore. I never intended on a server war actually, the point of my thread to point out he can't kill no1 in a ken server cuz he's dk which is true. I post reasons for this in earlier post. Its really funny how you think i have nothing better to do when actually i have plenty i can do, I just picked this as sumthing to do since i found it funny.

2.Teucer - Your right there are different stratergies for servers, but my post weren't really aiming for boss hunting it was just a sub topic brought up. My original posts as stated above was about killings others on a non PvP char. I wasn't going for attacking your lvl, i was attacking the words that you said. lol jealous? i quit happy at lvl 49 and have plenty of friends who are 50+ and 52+ i could care less about hitting 50 =) i can't hit 50? really, there's not much to lvling in lineage. Hitting 50 only takes TIME not much else.

3.natlswim - Congrats to you for your post, i didn't bother reading my post again, you win that one. haha hate? nah its jus the way i type but its funny I don't recall being beat down by you guyz o.o cuz i think i was the one who pointed out most of the things ABOUT the game and servers while you all were focusing on flaming me and trying to insult me o.O true?

hey I played all servers ken the longest till about a year or two ago when I was banned from my mage then I went to dep and I can tell u I like ken way better the people,pledges sometimes non-pk cuz I tend to go chao for fun and sometimes lose my items...hmm and Test i find fun to getting strong blowing items whenever I want killing racist people that hate usa it's all fun in games. well bye

I'm pretty sure the players on dep with -7x-8x ac have ben playing a hell of alot longer then me or my 2 other lvl 50 friends. You just made yourself look stupid by posting foreverpro. Foreverpro -> a few things:

FCA isn't hiding, we're still doing what we've always done and when we want to do it. My hunts haven't been affected in the least by anyone and we still have the time for the occasional fight. We may be fighting less frequently recently but there is a reason behind this I assure you and it has nothing to do with you or anyone else on the server.

And this is a spotlight for Ken players, why would we have SS of them when we play on Dep ?? LOL you crack me up.

BTW - bringing the guards is considered a valid tactic by NC and therefore not grief play last time I checked.

Check your emotions at the door next time.

OK LETS GET THIS STRAIGHT, the REAL question i wanted to point out to blackhawk is How do yo plan on killing all your ememies just when you hit 52? Killing your ememies on only at seiges doesn't work. Yes you get 36hp more hp and maybe extra 2 str, but you still will be cancelled and targeted first out cuz of your fame. True? Killing at seiges is harder than killing in real pot fights. THAT is the main point i was trying to get across. sound good?

There's not much reason Lincomp would do something that i didn't even start.

I'll explain it ONE more time. I didn't say dep was better than ken. I simply asked how he was going to Kill enemies on KEN server while giving supporting reasons. Z z Z z if you take it the wrong way its not my fault.

As for ruining the occasion, you think this is the first time its happened? Or are you just upset cuz it involves you? Things like this have gone on to MANY players including yourself. Look at threads like KnightRyduz or whomever there's alwayz sumone to ruin things. Everyone accuses anyone who is strong for buying items and such and such. am i wrong?

no one ever answers, its alwayz arguemeants, again i at least stated reasons for what i said. You people on the other hand jus spit out fighting words.

i dunt think protocol said anything about ken vs dep. all he did was comment on blackhawk's quote, "To all enemies, kill me now cuz after 52, you gonna die."
his question was, since ken is a non-pk server, how will blackhawk do what he says he will do after 52. well, i cant't think of how, except in seiges.

i really dunt believe blackhawk means what he said. Maybe he just quoted it badly. I myself believe what he meant to say was that he will be stronger once he hits lvl 52 (which is true, how could u not be stronger? o.0). He will beat his enemies in duels and will be tougher in seiges. Im sure he realizes ken is a non-pk server and u cant kill anyone aside from dueling and in sieges. like i said, i think he just used the wrong words to quote what he actually meant.

i think what bloodlusts meant was that, all ken players can do is use words to fight, beacuse u cant pk. while on dep, you can use words and pk also. i dunt think he means dep people are kind and nice.

I fail to understand how you think, Protocol. You come in here and belittle our friends' accomplishments with unprovoked insults, then you have the gall to act all surprised and aghast when we attack you back, and accuse everyone of failing to read your posts "carefully" enough. And to top it all off, you don't even play the bloody game anymore!

How would you feel if LC does a spotlight on your pledge and some rambling idiot decides to bring an arguement that's totally off topic to that thread? There's nothing wrong with discussing about the pros/cons of your pledge/server, but keep the posts in this thread relevent to the topic, and bring your "server war" topic somewhere else. Thank you.

Ok first off they weren't meant to be insults. The main part of it was a question, some words may have sliped i admit it. But later on in my threads i've calmed down with my writing dramatically. I wasnt' suprised at all when you attacked me.

Why do you have to still play the game to be involved? i've played this game for years and loved it, i quit and i still love it. You can probably relate but don't seem to understand maybe cuz you havent quit yet.

My post DID have a point as well as server things that maybe i should've have put. But the point was my question about killing on KEN. How many times must i say that?

As for the social retard. I'll let your imagination work on that =)I don't think i really need to answer that.

Ghostraven my post WERE on topic. I asked a question about him. I never started it but others started to assume what i said and had misunderstood it. Most of my posts were relating to what others had commented on me on so i did not try and provoked a server war, just stated a few points and it all got outta hand.

I've played all servers (.77 -> dep beta, ken beta-> ken commercial, and i currently reside on dep but still have a 49+ char on ken)

Ken sieges are different than deps, no doubt. However, i'd just like to say just because someone chooses not to fight, does not make them weak.

Some people play lineage solely because they like to hunt/level their character, and become stronger, but some also participate in sieges. The absense of PvP can be a good thing, or a bad one. Keep that in mind dep players, but ken ppl, also keep in mind that dep is not the chaotic immature server that you ignorantly percieve it as. Dep server has/had some of the best players around ( Ruben-Chivi, Lord_Nahz, QueenNina, Pr0, Neo), and some of the most infamous ( Brutus-Yourvlover, Swordking, Mysterio, Coolhigh etc..)

Umm Amer, can you enforce these rules you have now?
Protocol has not only pointlessly started an argument he knows nothing about, he has been rather harsh about it as well.
All the other Dep who say Ken is a cakewalk, shut your damn mouths, I made it to 46 on Dep with -58 ac in less than 3 months starting from scratch, my friends quit so I went to Ken where one friend moved. I like Ken a lot better, and IN FACT there are MANY MANY MANY more jackasses on Ken than Dep. People talking trash, and you can't kill them, tons of thieves who get away completely free. Dep you have PK'ers ooooo noooo! i cant use my escape scroll! PK'ers were just an oppurtunity to get 2 drops woohoo!
AND we have worse AC in general on Ken because it is a younger server, with less people on it. With more time and more people of course we'd all have a better economy! I suggest you all read your own posts, before plunging head strong into another arrogant and utterly moronic post.
It comes to this. These 3 guys put in the work necessary to get to lvl 50, which I have no seen your names in the Hall of Fame. "well they are junkies and have all the free time in the world" yes and they live off of 4 month old cookies playing in their mothers basements....get real these are real people who are just better at the game than you. With worse AC they seem to have gotten further than you have!

wow i remember blackhawkx from my ken days

i was in GriffonClaw when it owned heine and i guess we hit pooch for some reason at a heine defence so he got mad and got blackhawkx and some other knight (may have been ajax). man they tore us up, 3 knights killed like 20 people and pushed EVERY defender back to the tower, i kinda miss my ken days now heh, i was Glorfindil back then, if anyone remembers me =)

im surprised ken doesnt have more dks then dep. all they do is hunt. and ive seem some of the ken big boys. deps heavy hitters like Zef and Corps own them.

87 yes your right, Dep has been out longer. But the truth is Ken server has a richer economy which equals in better chances of more higher plused items. Factors which support this are already in this thread so i'm not going to point them out anymore.

ummm can we get some things straight?

1. You cant pk on Ken server(that why its called a non-pvp server, doh!) - and dont give me any BS about sieges and duels, thats not pking. pking is getting slaughtered by a mage who pops out of coi, para/freeze/wb/slow/cancels you when u have 10 mops on you and then kills you.

2. Dep is pk, and we know what pking is and how its done.

3. I would have to say that the economies are about the same...but for different reasons, which i dont need to mention.

4. I have played a long time on both servers and i like them both, for different reasons. And i know what each is like.

5. Ken is more the social side of Lineage while Dep is more the battle side

6. Dep would have more experience in large battles(i.e. cross server) and pk-tactics, but that is a known fact - duh

7. I think ken would have a good chance of winning the server vs. server battle because i doubt Dep could join together and fight. we hate each other so much it would be impossible ^^

8. This post is starting to bore me -.-


One other thing - Congratz to Fyreblade, BlackHawkx and GreatAjax, i dont know you but you sound intelligent enough and i like WK - they are a good group of people.

Finally finished reading >_<...Well anyways... I would like to congratulate Protocol for being the first person to ever type the most words and never actually make any sense whatsoever. Man u contridict urself to much. U say how did u start ken vs. Dep war?...U said ken was easier to play and get items then dep. Tell me how its easier to get items on dep when all mops drop the same on both servers? Also why ken has lower lvl ppl is because of dragons which we could actually get toghether and kill and dep couldnt. I know many ppl in theyre 50s now that end many times to dragons and some of them should be 52+ already. How does pk make dep harder? Only the truly ignorant and weak ppl end to pkers. Oh well just felt like putting my 2 cents in if u dun like it i dont care.

The only thing I have to say on all of this is CONGRATS! This SPOTLIGHT is well deserved guys!

Well, maybe not the only thing.....*grumbles*

Protocol the problem is, the statemends you made, and the way they were worded leaves one with the impression that you are bagging on Ken for not being a pvp server. Even though you deny that was your intention, your subsquent arrogant posts speak volumes as to that being your intent.

The purpose of these spotlights is not to tear people down, but to give people that have accomplished something noteworthy the credit they deserve. The sad thing is, there are small minded people out there that will take every opportunity to tear down others due to their profound lack of self worth.

Now, back to the REAL topic. Blackhawk, don't know you as well as I do the others, but I am still proud of ya. GreatAjax, once IC always IC...you're family, and I can't think of anyone that deserves level 50 more! Fyreblade we've become fairly good friends over the last few months, and for you to have come so far so fast is amazing! Keep up the good work guys, and don't let the immaturity level of certain people get to you so much...they truly aren't worth the time and effort....^^

I really don't think that it matters what server you play on - I play dep - because either way reaching level 52 is a real task. Although I believe it is harder for a Dep player to reach lvl 52, I still congratulate you guys for getting so high. Have fun, and don't take the comments so seriously, this is of course just a game... but then again... :p
