Letters from FI

My little pledge hunted FI today and while restocking on pots, we starting wondering why in the world stationery was being sold at the FI merchant. It was overpriced and was there really anything so important that we couldn't wait until we were done with FI?

So, amateras (in a moment of brilliance), started a new FI tradition. He sent a letter to himself with "amateras was here" and dropped it by the FI teleport NPC so you could see it on your way out. The rest of us followed suit. :) I'm curious as to how long it will stay there on its own without some fools stealing it. (No monsters enter that area of FI).

So, if you see a couple of "I was here" notes on FI, go ahead and add your own. If it catches on, I'll post a screenshot next week of the exit island littered with landmarks. ^^

Oh, and please don't forget you can't take your summoned mops through the FI teleport. These poor elves didn't know and had to go without their spirits for an hour. :(

Okay, let me explain.

The container island is a safety zone, and those users were still logged in. You can't just kill them.

And they couldn't disperse because the teleport is one-way. The elves couldn't see their spirits.

I suppose we could have messaged them and have them stop hunting, sign off, let us kill their spirits and then log back in. But, then the whole party would have to go back to the beginning of FI, blah blah.

doesnt the server restart take out all the items? cleaning the server? and beside when i fist went to FI and thats not too long ago it was in the holidays i put a lamp on the edge of the island where the tele lady is and when i came back few days after IT WAS GONE ...... WHO STOLE MY LAMP DAMN U ,, its my best drop from FI mops maybe its magical or somethin who knows if u find it plz send it back via ADEX (aden exprss) o.o

*note to amer any news is a news and no matter how silly it is it keeps stuff going so keep up the good work (next time am gonna see u am gonna PK u coz ur not my amer :P )

I think it's a sweet way to build the COMMUNITY of Lineage and besides it is Kick Butt in Your Face. ^^

But as K1DA said the letters will clear out during each reset, but it'll be interesting to see how many new letters appear every week if it catches on.

You can summon spirits, you just have to do it once you are on the main island, just like Summon Mages.

at least elf's can use summon on FI

I thought it was kinda nice to leave a little signature on FI. We hunt on FI once a while, but not a whole lot to show for. At least I was there! ;)

It's just a tiny little letter, and it really doesn't cause you a lag or anything. so please leave the letters where they are.

NC, if you are reading this, please don't spawn slimes or make drakes attracted to letters. thank you

amer: be careful about regen'ing at the exit npc on the west end of the island. on 2 different occasions my party went afk there to do things like restroom, drink, etc, and a cockatrice came. i, elf, was only one not idle when it came in and had to hit it (ouch~~) halfway through the fight one of the knights came back and ended it with me. so~ that was just a warning from the comment you made about no mops going there. i guess you meant they just don't spawn there initially.. but they sure have accidentally "happened" upon us from the outside area. ^^

meh waste of time if you ask me....server reset, people who just steal it for no reason, people who tame mops and leave it there, pine wands, etc...too much complications..well at least you gave it a chance on trying to start a trend but personally I dont think its going to work....only time will tell...
