LoA Dragon Armor - 10% Fire Resistance

Kirby, an elf in the Tomorrow pledge on LoA server, showed me an interesting difference on the LoA servers (remember, this does not apply to Dep/Ken).

It appears that the Dragon Armor on LoA server gives you 10% elemental resistance, which had been a dream of many of the Dep/Ken players for quite some time. Pictured is Kirby's LinWeb, which he revealed to me to prove the MR.

somthing else more important should be discussed though, like those ppl being banned on dep wtf is up with that
isn't NC suppose to fix bugs on test server, why do ppl get banned for mistakes that NCI made NCI should've fixed the bug themselves

its kinda like putting a speed limit 100kmph and when ppl go over 50kmph they get ticketed wtf is up with that

you ppl should speak up this is in-justice, not fair, NCI is such cry babies

something needs to get done about dep/ken being mirrors of the korean servers. this is a totally different market over here, and alienating us with 1 new server that has all the kewl shit is rediculous and ruining the game for some. some people dont wanna start over on LOA damnit. sum1 needs to start a petition to send to nckorea so we can get dep/ken under the control of nc austin too!

Wait...It gives a whole 10% resistance? Amazing. I'm SO jealous that we don't have that on Dep/Ken, seeing as I have so many Dragon Armors laying around. Some dream. How much damage does 10% resistance block? About 2 points?

#7 No Kaerid, this really isn't important. Never will 10% fire resistance be more important than a large number of players being banned for another NCSoft screw up. I was thinking too, NCSoft assumed that everyone knew that the prices for the remove curse scrolls in the game were being changed. I'd go so far to say that more players do not visit the Lineage website or fansites, than those that do.

10% is better then nothing. but wasnt that a killglance ring on his finger, was this screen shot taken when the ring still had 10% fire resistance? if so, it might be the ring and not the armor. just curious.....

Actully that 10% can save you 50% of an attack. The way mr works is this
Mr+elemental resistene = XX% If its high enough you resist the spell. Damage spells do 50% damage when resisted. So it could be the differnce between being firestormed 3 times for 300hp, or 150hp.

and with elf resist elemental spell, giving you 10% resistance to all elements u can reach 80% fire resistance, theoretically, on LoA of course

#16 no, that isn't a KG ring. I was thinking that at first, but it has to be applied by something other than the rings he has, so it is probably safe to assume it is, in fact, the DSM.

I am sure all the DSMs on LOA have applicable resistence depending on the color.

first of all i was curious, not accusing, and it was less then 2 weeks ago that kg ring was fire res. so it is safe to assume that there was enough scales. if it is the dsm then it adds a erason to have some. sry if i offending you for asking, bt it was a point that needed to be addressed befor spending 15 mil making a set. altough i am not sure if it still worth it for 10% res. when apm is better ac and is less expensive.

Actually, the ring on the right is the same graphic as the KG ring on a linweb. It shows up different than from in the game for some reason.

hi everyone, i am kirby on loa, someone else took kirby for the lineage compendium name so i cant use it o.o. Anyways to straighten out some concerns, this screenshot was taken by amer this morning, so the kg ring does not have 10% fire resistance, kg ring is perma haste as of now. Second, i made this dsm before the valakas event, but even if i had made the dsm when the kg ring had 10% fire mr, it would of displayed 20%fire mr from kg ring and red dsm, and the elven magic that gives 10% elemental resistance to all the elements as you can see was not casted on me so you guys would of still be able to tell that the dsm gave 10% fire mr in addition to the kg ring. The elven magic that gives 10% to all elements dosent show on linweb anyways. Third, when i made this dsm and was trying to sell it, many people on loa whispered me and called me a liar, scammer, idiot, asshole, etc...i didn't think that was nice and it really pissed me off, so i decided to send amer an email and he was nice enough to put my story on the front page. Anyways, i just wanted to say thanks to all my friends on loa who believed me and give a shoutout to all my friends on ken ^.^

p.s. censored food gauge was due to the fact that i eat a lot o.o(had 100 meats on me at the time o.o)

well, not to say that it is fake, but that its possible that it could be fake. could have taken a screen shot with kg ring on when it did give 10% resistance, and now that you have red dsm ( or even if you had it earlier ) you could say that dsm gives you 10% resistance. there's no purpose in trying to trick someone about something like that so i would take it as true.
pretty good idea - to make dsm give elemental resistance finally, but the armor is so hard to make, it should give more resistance than 10%. oh well, something is better than nothing i guess.

I mean hell, if i make it big, I want it to be worthwhile once i'm there, I'd rather not have it easy at all.

Why does everyone say LOA is a noob server, it isn't. LOA is just NCAustin trying to fix some of the things everyone used to complain about (like soft ac). It is just a server where they want to make the classes more balance in my opinion (like the no - to hit on SoM). This way other classes have a chance to bea decent player. Just my thoughts.

to # 32, first of all like i said this ss was taken today, not back then when kg ring has 10%mr, second of all this ss is taken by amer and amer took the ss from my linweb, i didnt take the ss and sent it to him-.-, i opened my linweb and amer went to search me on linweb and took the ss himself, so there isnt even a possible way for it to be fake unless you dont trust amer and lineagecompendium, but if you dont trust him or this website then thats a whole different problem...so think before you post....you may think i sound pissed off, but ive had it with ppl in game whispering me and calling me names because they don't believe me. So think before you post about this having a chance of being not true....-.- because there is no chance of this being false since amer took the ss straight off of my linweb today.

#34 that is because LOA is a server designed to be easier than real servers. Changes are being made by ONE person based on the reactions of the most vocal players and his own biases. Further CaptSturm even admitted he has no programmers to help him so changes are either cosmetic, ie. new items or require turning any given update from the real servers on or off.
To me this is a very poorly managed way of making real changes, you may like what he has done so far but give him rope.. er time and tell me in a year that LOA is all that good. Assuming of course that NC Austin hasn't completely ruined the game in the U.S. market by then. Wouldn't be the first game they had control of that went south now would it?

I think a lot of people hate LoA is because most people started in Dep and Ken. They set goals for themselves. For examples, if they're on dep, they want to be one of the greatest Pks ever. As soon as NC gets my money order (mailed out last thursday, why is mail so slow), I'll be back to Dep again because it's what I'm used to.

actually javi, most of us find LoA to be humorous. its like the kid in the toy store that throws a temper tantrum over wanting something and won't stop crying until (dep/ken) the parent ignores their cries and they get over it or (loa) they just give the kid what they want to shut them up, which leads to positive reinforcement... *stops*

Why should it matter? This is a game. The server which is more fun should matter.
Currently that I know of, one of each blue, red, and green exist, I know some one with eva shield too, but there's prolly more since the server's been up for almost half year now.

When Ken came out, i knew i'd hate it, because i thought no pk meant it will be full of the cry baby people who go insane when you kill them and take their precious bone shield.. so i didnt play it except for like 10 minutes after it was released. But then LoA server comes out, its a pk server, it has more items, bosses, special stuff than dep. LoA follows opinions and doesnt seem to ban for stupid reasons. o.o i dont think of LoA as a newbie server, i havent seen any difference in difficulty besides saving on ghastes and mages get the almighty e-bolt cap. And #42, so what you're saying is play LoA and you get things you like and what you want, play Dep/Ken and get nothing good and complaining get you nothing besides some sort of ban..

I used to think LOA is a noob server, but then I gave it a try and I know it is not any easier than any other servers. People call it a "noob" server cuz
they're jelous of all the items LOA has. Mops still drops the same as DEP and they still hurt you the same... how is that LOA a noob server?
Only bad thing is no global O.O That suck, but LOA is still fun with all the cool items other servers dont have.

Kirby showed me the +5 RED DSM a few days ago... its definitely not fake =)

Oh yeah Dlrmsgur and Devil got to 52 mad fast but this is because the server is easy of course... well... im going to tell u something... dlrmsgur died maybe once.... so he lost 1%... someone who would have done the same on Dep/Ken would have lost 10% but only once... true... getting 10% back probly takes half a year....(Being Sarcastic)

i believe most of the ppl who call it a newb server call it that because its easier to start on loa. We have skel boots, mage cap, etc. But what virtually every high lvl seems to ignore, is that they are a HIGH LVL! whether it takes them an extra day to get to 40 is not a big deal. You dont see newbs complaining about loa being for noobs because noobs dont come to these forums to say so. Who cares if we can pass the first lvls quicker? So what if i spend a day or two less leveling to 40? Does that really affect the long term?
